This is the book that wraps up the Thicker Than Blood trilogy, and it was SO good! A bit shorter in length than the previous two, but no less packed with action and intregue. The team (Dylan, Jace, Miles, Madeline, and Noah) with the new addition of Layla and Jackal, are determined to take the fight to the ringleader. Only problem with that plan, they dont know his identity.
These characters have been gradually developed throughout the series and have individual quirks and talents that endear them to readers. Determination, dedication, devotion, protectiveness, loyalty, family and a true belief in doing what is right (even when it's hard) - all of these characters share these traits and it makes them so easy to root for.
Oh, Carter is definately a part of the team too, along with Maddy. We learn more about their connection, as so they. And traditions continue even as the team faces their toughest battle yet. One where weapons and battle experience alone wont lead them to victory. Will they have the savvy turn the tides in their favor?
This is a book you don't want to miss. Rankin has proved herself a skillful suspense and character driven writer and I can't wait to see what she does next! I was fortunate to receive a gift copynof this book and happily volunteered my review. Happy Reading Y'all 📚

Another exciting thriller from this author. A quick refresh of my reviews from the other books in this series reminded me of who was who.
The puppet master was aptly named and it was satisfying to read of his downfall.
I fully understood the team’s concerns in meeting with the president and who they could and could not trust.
It had me gripped from start to finish.

OMG 😱 this was an emotional roller coaster ride of a page turner and the suspense was intense . I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t even put it down. I absolutely loved this book and it was addicted. With the romance and love with the affection of a loving family. I definitely recommend this book and you won’t be disappointed.
