I've been patiently waiting for this baby to come out and I can confidently say it was worth the wait. Waiting for the alternative universe where I get Clain, Wolf, and Lennox all to myself cause who wouldn't want three gorgeous men worshiping them? Can never get enough of them.

I read this because I can’t stand cliffhangers! This second book wasn’t any better than the first one. It was all over the place, and got more far fetched with each chapter. It just sad because, like the first book, it had potential.

I enjoyed this book more than the first! There were still a few plot holes, but I found the events to be better related and cleaned up more. I also thought the characters were much more interesting and developed in this book. They had deeper back stories and motivations and redeemed themselves to get to the lives they wanted to live. I found the events to wrap up nicely and offer a satisfying ending.

And of course, the spicy scenes were still well written. I liked the added addition of having to sneak around with the spicy scenes. This added even more spice to the already nice scenes. They felt original and non repetitive, which is great for a second book! I was quite pleased with this book!

Okay so this book saved the first one which I feel was a rough start. The first book brought up too many questions, confusion & lacking in plot & character cohesiveness. This book was much more put together, while it still stumbled here & there at times it did fill in most all of the plot holes, answered many of the questions & had a good story line. The spice was 🥵🥵 and honestly I believe it was meant to be more spice than plot. Either way it was a good story! I loved the MCs & though I feel there could have been more character building on them we still got enough backstory of them & watched them grow & change in how they acted & communicated together. I love that 🖤

Should've stood my ground and refused to read this after the car crash of the first book. Again, the lack of communication was infuriating, and then when everything does get revealed, it's so unnecessarily complicated. I'm still not 100% sure what actually happened in the past.
Now I know everyone deals with trauma differently, but my god, Amelia is hard as stone. She was not affected by what happened to her one little bit and the scene when they find her after she's been used for 4 days, ew.
It's a no from me.

My God, this book is so spicy hot I could barely stand putting it down for short periods. I absolutely loved the story and the characters.

The part with human trafficking is never nice or easy to read, but the writing did well to smooth over the terrible parts and get on with revenge parts.

This is a great 2 book series and is very hard to put down once you start. I highly recommend these books to everyone who loves the darker romance stuff.

While this is still huge on smut/spice, I’d give it a bit more plot than the first book.
You get more detail (eventually) about why the things in book 1 happened.
Justice was served and well deserved to those who got it. I was so happy for each character dealing with their demons 🥹
I’m still team Cain, but like Lennox and Wolf? I can see why Amelia wants all 3. Phew wee 😮‍💨
I enjoyed this duet and I wish there was more haha it had a perfect ending I thought.

Read this to see how everything ended. It ended as I expected it to, but it all happened so fast that none of it was that interesting. The spice was mediocre because I didn't really get into the characters or the small hint of a story that was happening throughout.

didn’t enjoy it as much as the first, it’s definitely super fast paced.

I loved Cain and Wolf alot in this series. Cain did his thing corrupting Lennox and Wolf 🤭 Enjoyed seeing their relationship grow.

This is horrible. There’s smut and dark kinks. But the writing is akin to an 8th graders. Not worth the read unless you’re REALLY REALLY bored.
