Reaper is older, hot, dangerous and her father’s best friend. He is everything that Mabel should stay away from but she is drawn to him. Her life is being controlled and manipulated by her father. When Reaper offers her a small taste of freedom she takes it.
I love how protective and supportive Reaper is of Mabel. He supports her dreams and stands up to her father for her. I also love that when it comes to Reaper Mabel finally found a backbone.

WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice quick, short read.
Reaper and Mabel have known each other her whole life, he's her father's best friend. Mabel is getting tired of living on her father's farm running it. Mabel's mother passed away several years ago and her father hasn't been himself since. When Reaper comes over to take Mabel to the feed store she asks him for a ride on his bike. Mabel's father is in the back forty so he won't see them leaving. Reaper takes Mabel on the bike ride, when he pulls over to a field full of flowers Mabel run throw it. Then Mabel kisses Reaper, he tells her they need to get back to the farm. Reaper and Mabel head to the feed store she asks him about the kiss, he doesn't deny he wanted it. Mabel knows how Reaper got his name but she asks him about it. Reaper tells Mabel he's tired of bounty hunting he wants simpler things. Reaper offers to take Mabel with him tonight on an easy bounty. When they get back to the farm Mabel's father is waiting on them, she thinks he seen what they did. When Mabel's father tells her he found a college in Washington State she tells him she wants to go to college for veterinary school. Mabel's father fakes having chest pains so she takes him inside. Reaper knows Mabel's father Danny is faking it. Reaper is waiting on Mabel but she's not showing up so he calls her. Reaper can tells that she's upset with him for not helping with her father. So Reaper asks Mabel to check the couch cushions, she finds her father's pill. Mabel mets up with Reaper and she tells him she tired of living on the farm and her father controlling her life. Mabel kisses Reaper, then he pleasure her then they make love. They hear gunshots and Mabel's father yelling at them. Mabel confronts her father telling him she loves Reaper. Mabel tells her father he needs to hire some help because she's going to go to college around her hometown. Three months later, Mabel's working at the veterinarian’s office Reaper comes to pick her up. Mabel moved in with Reaper shortly after she talk to her father, they are married and she's going to college. Mabel is pregnant and they're hoping it's a girl who they want to name Alice after Mabel's mother. To most people owing a ranch and having a family isn't top on their fantasy, but to Reaper having Mabel with him is right where he wants to be.

I absolutely LOVED it!!! Reaper and Mabel are meant to be!! The chemistry between them is so far off the charts! I love hot protective he odd and just wants to give her everything she deserves! I love that she goes after what she wants and finally stands up for herself even though it was hard! The smexy times between them were so freaking HOT🫠🥵 I am so obsessed with this series! Who doesn’t enjoy a dad’s best friend story! Mabel and Reaper are fun together! I love that he encourages her to live her life the way she wants and because of her he changes his life for the better as well! I hope her dad meets someone!!

Such a wonderful story of what loss can do to a family and how we need to overcome the grief we feel. Otherwise it feathers like an open wound causing you pain and you end up inflicting it on our family. That can be devastating to them.

Reaper and Mabel’s story was another really enjoyable book from the series. I loved the age gap, best friend’s daughter trope, and as always there was just enough spice to make it hot!
This was a fast read, but I loved every bit of it!

I loved this little story. It was so sweet. Although he was part of a MC the story didn’t revolve around that. The story was well written even though it was quick and short. The love story made sense and it was very cute.
