This was such a beautiful read - not only does it highlight a complicated romantic relationship between 2 women, but the love that can blossom between friends; a forever love just as grand and important. Finding your person isn’t always your partner. To say I loved this is an understatement. This message is everything.

The story is told in alternating chapters from the past and present - showcasing both budding relationships: Rosalie and Savannah over the years in contrast to that of Kinsey and Rosalie in the present. I can’t tell which bond I loved and rooted for more - They both had their hard and difficult instances with fights and tears, but they also both had lovely, defining moments, too.
I’ve always been a huge proponent of the fact that friendships are relationships just like romantic ones, that need to be cultivated with time, energy and effort all the same. This made me feel incredibly seen. I feel like we don’t get a lot of romances with platonic love this big and all encompassing so this will forever be one of my favorite reads.
Seeing more of Cassidy in this book (after her starring role in Graceless) was a surprisingly welcome addition (I thought I’d be more on the fence). How her friendship with Kinsey parallels Rosalie/Savannah was so well done and her growth throughout this book was top notch, too.
Finally, I think the only thing that didn’t work for me (as much) was the arc between Lane & Cassidy. No spoilers, but I think it could’ve done without. Just being a little nit-picky lol
Overall, I really vibe with RL’s writing - she writes AMAZING characters and this was no exception. She’s an instant pick up for me and I highly recommend!

Saving Graces is a wonderful finish to an outstanding series. Cassidy partners up with a talented musician named Kinsey. Together, they write music and play small venues, paying their dues on the path to stardom. At first, Cassidy does not tell Kinsey that she is the sister of Country music icon, Savannah Grace, which I really liked because those kind of secrets add a fun tension.
In this book, Rosalie, Savannah’s long time friend, is featured. She is the Director of an LGBTQ+ center/shelter for teens funded by Savannah. Rosalie has spent her whole life devoted to the health and well-being of Queer youth. On the personal end, she’s commitment phobic and has chased away many good women who’ve tried to get close. She has embraced being a 37 year old single cat lady. Then Kinsey volunteers at her center and Rosalie is caught up. Although, the age gap bothers her, it’s more their sky high passion together that both intrigues and scares Rosalie.
What I liked best about the book is how it incorporates the past smoothly into the present. The author threads all the storylines together and completes the picture of Savannah, Rosalie, Coral (another best friend), and Rachel (Rosalie’s older sister). The earlier books in the series mention the four women in different degrees but it’s satisfying to find out what really happened for everyone to get to the here and now. The Before scenes also made me appreciate the women’s hard fought life journeys and the reasons why they are so devoted to each other.
Rosalie and Kinsey scenes are scorchers. Their sex talk is a live wire and their power dynamic makes them both crazy. It’s a messy tug-of-war. There’s also a secondary story with Cassidy and Lane having relationship issues. Lane continues to be a semi-mystery as their background is missing in the series. Saving Graces has a satisfying ending but it is also open to potentially more stories in the series. I hope the author considers revealing Lane’s backstory at some point. Looking forward to future Grace books.

Ruby Landers' captivating writing style draws you in from the very first page and holds you tight until the last.
Rosalie Carlson, a dedicated social worker who seems to have it all together professionally, is anything but in her personal life. Her close, complicated friendship with megastar Savannah Grace keeps her constantly on her toes. Meanwhile, Kinsey, a young musician trying to find her place in Nashville’s vibrant music scene, is eager to make her mark. When these two women meet, the sparks fly instantly, and their scorching chemistry leaps right off the page.
Landers excels in creating wonderfully diverse characters that are impossible not to love. Kinsey’s confidence in her talent and her deep self-awareness make her a captivating character, drawing readers in with her authenticity and passion. Her journey is one of courage and determination, and it’s impossible not to root for her as she navigates the complexities of love and chasing her dreams. Rosalie, on the other hand, is a great representation of how many women—especially caretakers, advocates, and those in service roles—often prioritize everyone else over themselves. Her reluctance to follow her own advice about self-care and therapy is relatable and adds depth to her character, making her growth throughout the book even more satisfying.
Rosalie's deep love for her sister Rachel adds another layer of emotional depth to the story. Rachel's story arc is incredibly impactful, and the way it unfolds throughout the novel is both heart-wrenching and beautifully crafted. Oh, Rachel... my heart just aches for her. Rachel's presence and impact in Rosalie and Savannah's life and the challenges they face after her loss add a poignant layer to the narrative, highlighting the importance of family and the deep bonds that shape us.
One of the standout elements of "Saving Graces" is the found family Landers has so beautifully crafted. The dual timeline structure, which allows us to see Savannah and Rosalie's friendship grow from the very beginning, is brilliantly executed. It gives new perspective to the previous books and really allows you to see the connection between these friends and how their friendship has ebbed and flowed throughout the years together. The line, "I'll always love you more," resonates deeply, showcasing the strength and enduring nature of their bond. This book is a wonderful example of how friendships build our community and are vital to our lives, offering both support and love in times of need.
Landers does a fantastic job capturing the push and pull between Kinsey and Rosalie, the tension of their initial resistance, and the unfolding of their undeniable attraction. The inner monologue of both characters is so well executed that it allows the reader to deeply understand their fears, desires, and the walls they've built around their hearts. It’s this emotional depth that makes their romance not just believable but genuinely touching.
The continuation of Savannah and Brynn’s HEA and Cassie and Lane’s story adds depth and richness to the narrative, highlighting the strong bonds of friendship, family and love that permeate Landers’ books. The sheer amount of queer love and representation in this series is so beautifyl, and it’s one of the many reasons why I can't get enough of Lander's writing.
The emotional depth of this book goes beyond a typical romance. This is a story of forgiveness, personal growth, and the courage to open up to new possibilities, even when the past has been painful. Rosalie’s resistance to love and her eventual realization that she deserves happiness is a beautifully crafted arc that adds layers to her character and makes her journey all the more rewarding.
And let’s not forget the STUNNING covers of this series that perfectly represent the beautiful stories held inside. They are a visual delight and a stellar representation of the heartfelt love in all it's forms that lies within.
The way Landers ends this book left me on the edge of my seat, eagerly anticipating what comes next. I really hope that we're not done with the Graces. I NEED MORE !! Pllllllleeeease can we have more?!

3.5 stars ⭐️ i loved the main couple rosalie and kinsley…i really disliked the fact that we got multiple pov’s involving other characters background drama which unfortunately took away so much reading time on the main couple. sometimes it felt necessary, but mostly felt like those moments could’ve been a separate novella. that being said, I still really enjoy Ruby Landers’s work and can’t wait to see what she comes out with next

🥹 I love this series so much. We just finished listening to it with my wife. So happy she loved it. Her face at the end... was priceless 😆. What an ending!
As my friends know, I don't listen to audiobooks, but because I wanted to relive this one through the eyes of my wife, I did. It helped that I had read it already. Great performance by Q. Riley.
What can I say that I haven't already said about this whole series?
Maybe that Saving Graces is the cherry on top of the cake.
The main character this time is Rosalie Carlson, but there are several other characters that come back from the previous books, so maybe, don't do like me and read them in chronological order, although they can be perfectly read also as standalone.
Somehow, Rosalie is at the center of many of the paths that several characters take, and all of their lives are intertwined creating a fabulous plot that spans more than twenty years.
To understand why Rosalie is still single, and devoted mainly to her job as director of a center for queer young people, you'll have to plunge into her past.
Rosalie is kind, smart and always ready to play the part of the mother hen, to the point that she almost forgot what it means to have her own life and have fun.
But when on her path comes Kinsey, a 26 year old woman who seems all cocky and adamant to flirt with her, Rosalie's convinction that she's better off alone, enjoying the solitude of her house, will slowly crumble and she will learn how hard it is not to run away anymore from people who love you.
How can you trust love when everybody you loved the most abandoned you?
Saving Graces is not only a spicy age-gap novel, but also a macro lens on what happens to couples after the epilogue of a novel, with Savannah, Brynn, Cassidy and Lane evolving in their roles of spouses, partners, friends and colleagues.
Saving Graces is a beautiful statement to the love we share with our friends, which sometimes borders with romantic and platonic love. It is also a statement to the "chosen family" and the inclusion in it of all genders and identities.
It is a reminder to fight the Republicans and their transphobic and MAGA culture.
It is, most of all, a story of how music is the expression of the soul and how people can bond together expressing their creativity.
It is a call to respect each and every single one of us. To learn and to trust.
Trust that some people will always care for you, no matter what, so you can stop running.

I loved that book. It has everything I looked for. Rosalie's character is complex, with a lot of history, and Kinsey is full of life and love. They are so good together and they are the main focus, but this book is so much more. The dual timeline brought so much, not only to Rosalie's background but also to Savannah's. That trilogy is not only about three independent couples, with couple number one becoming supporting characters in book number two, as you are used to seeing. Relationships are intertwined and complex, and Landers explores all the possibilities. With the smart switch, previous main characters from past books still have a voice, giving a real follow-up to their stories. Savannah Grace is the heart of this Grace Notes series. I had the age-gap story, with amazing chemistry and longing, and whole other scenes that make the whole trilogy complete. I really advise people to read them in order; it's a real three-course meal, with each one bringing light to the previous.The trans representation through Rachel's character broke my heart. Landers is a damn good writer. That ending! I need another book, a sequel, a spin-off. I NEED MORE.

Oh. My. Gosh. Saving Graces absolutely wrecked me, and this in the best possible way. I cried what felt like a million times while reading this book. It’s sooooo emotional, so raw, so human. Ruby Landers has crafted something truly special here.
The writing? Wonderful. The pacing? Ugh soo good!! Every single character felt alive, messy, flawed, and heartbreakingly real.
And Rosalie and Kinsey…I don’t even know where to start. The longing, the angst, the heartbreak, the tenderness…it’s the kind of romance that makes you ache in your chest but also warms you from the inside out. They are everything.
One of my favorite aspects was the “before” chapters-those glimpses into Rosalie’s youth, her early relationships with Savannah, Carol, Rachel, and later Lane. It added so much depth, so much weight to the story, making the present moments hit even harder. I think here is a good point to add that I related to Rosalie soo much 🥺
And I cannot tell you how much I appreciated the way this book engaged with the current political climate, especially around trans rights, queer rights, and the broader fight for equality. As someone deeply invested in these topics, it meant the world to see them not just mentioned, but woven directly into the heart of the story. It gave the narrative urgency and authenticity that elevated it even more.
But back to the romance and all though because wow. This was a masterpiece. My heart is still in pieces after that epilogue. I’m still crying, and I’m not even kidding.

Yeah, so I couldn’t stop reading this series. So a big thank you to Ruby Landers who kept me reading ravenously for three straight days. And 4 if you count the fact that I’ll be reading the prequel today? I live for times when reading is like this—all-consuming and addicting and just so satisfying. And it’s why I keep reading--chasing this experience, this feeling.
As an entire series, though? Grace Notes may be the best coherent series I’ve ever read. I really felt I got a lot of time with the characters I most cared about in all three books. So it’s not written the way I have come to expect from a romance series, which usually only focus on the couple at hand. Now, this may be to the detriment of the new love stories, but I personally found it to be exactly what I wanted. And then that ending, wow! Are you really leaving us like that, Ruby?
As far as the main love story in Saving Grace goes, I’m not really sure what I think about it. Landers writes it such that I’m rooting for it, but it was a little too sex-heavy for my romantic tastes. The sex scenes were hot, but, as always, give me the romance! Convince me these characters belong together beyond their physical chemistry. But they’re a cute pairing regardless, and were, in a rare instance, a 10+ year age-gap that didn’t bother me. Miracles!
I also really liked the “Before” chapters. Usually I get annoyed when a narrative is interrupted and I have to spend time with the backstory that doesn’t really advance the main plot, but I almost enjoyed the “Before” plot more?

This was so GOOD! The book alternates between showing us Rosalie in the current day grappling with feelings for Kinsey, a woman 11 years younger, and giving us a backstory of her relationship with Savannah Grace and how that friendship came to be. As we go through their story I felt like Savannah and Rosalie were meant to find each other in life and not all soulmates are romantic. We also get more time with Cassidy and Lane, who I love. I do wish we had more Brynn time but the flashbacks more than make up for it.
The epilogue threw me for a loop and I really hope Ruby expands on that because she can’t leave me like this!!

It all started with Savannah, Rachel, and Rosalie. In "Saving Grace," now the story of Rosalie, Rachel's sister and Savannah's best friend since they were teenagers, is told. Rosalie is a committed single woman, at least that's what she tells herself. She is very committed to her work as a social worker and is the director of an LGBTQ+ center/shelter. She has helped many queer kids find shelter and their way in life, but she believes she has failed her own older sister.
One day at the center, she meets Kinsey, a cocky 26-year-old musician who charms everyone she meets. Kinsey is fascinated and entranced by Rosalie at first sight. The attraction is mutual, but Rosalie keeps finding excuses not to let her get too close. But keeping her hands off Kinsey proves even more difficult. The chemistry is electrifying, and their passion is skyrocketing and hot.
In addition, many loose threads from books one and two are spun further and all connected. Cassidy's and Kinsey's path in the music industry is an important part of this, as the two start a creative musical firework. They helped each other and went through thick and thin together. Through all these experiences, they bonded for lifelong friendships. And friendships are essential in life, often lifelong and sometimes more important than love.
After spending many hours in Grace's universe, they all feel like family and friends. Books like these are like taking a vacation from my own life, and sometimes we all need to just get away for a short time. For me, this series has it all: these are stories with depth and lots of emotions, and with diverse queer characters. They are about growing up in difficult situations, about friendship, chosen families, loss and success, heartbreak, and finally love. And they are addictive, I really, really hope there will be more. For example, what happened to Rachel? And what is Lane's back story?

3.5 ⭐️ I liked all the back story and that we got to read about Savannah’s and Rosalie’s pasts. This made me appreciate Savannah more and like her character much more. Kinsey was a gem and she kept me interested in this book. Lane and Cassidy, glad we got to see more of them. And ok all my GR friends, I like Cassidy much better now that she’s matured and is making good decisions.
But I didn’t care for adult Rosalie much, her personality was too cold. And I’m fine with age gap romance but Kinsey and Rosalie’s relationship didn’t work for me long term. Yes I can see some hot night fantasies but not the HEA.
I do like Lander’s writing style and I’ll read more of her books in the future. And the ending was great, if not quite believable.

I don’t know how to write a review that really expresses how much I loved this book, but I’ll try to do the best I can. It’s not often you read a 500 + page book and check your page number, see it’s at 290, and wonder how you were that far through already. Because wow does this book just flow easily. Not that it’s all easy reading with transphobic and homophobic talk, suicide, drugs and alcohol use, cheating, homelessness of children, and violence are ever easy to read about, but it’s not included lightly, in fact Ruby Landers handles it all in a delicate way that doesn’t shy away from the hard truth.
This story is a love story. But not just the love between romantic partners like Savannah and Brynn, but also platonic (mostly) love between Savanah and Rosalie. The chapters jump around between past (before) and present with two presenting one before chapter as a rule. Although only the before chapters point out the timeline shift. The main romance is between Rosalie who runs the center Savannah funds for homeless queer youth, and Kinsey, the new drummer and co-songwriter who joins Cassidy (Cassie) to form a band. I really liked Kinsey as a character. I loved how respectful she was of Rosalie’s space and feelings. How Kinsey understood that Rosalie would run from too much connection. Their chemistry was off the charts hot! Ruby also gives us more Cassie and Lane, and Savannah and Brynn, although I always want more of their relationship.
We learn so much about what shaped Savannah and Rosalie’s past, and their friendship with each other, and the Grace notes trilogy is better for it. In fact I’m looking forward to when I read them again now I know this information.
Thank you Ruby Landers for this fantastic ending to a phenomenal trilogy. You’ve definitely got a talent for storytelling.

I absolutely loved this installment - especially that we got Savannah and Rosalie’s back story in addition to a new romance. And Quinn Riley was born to narrate these books! Landers couldn’t have gotten a better person to bring her stories to life. The friendships, community and inclusiveness in these books is everything!
I was so sad that this was to be the end of our time with these characters, but I REALLY hope Landers will give us another book, because… IYKYK. 😃 Just a terrific series!

Genuinely, this trilogy is the best thing I've read this year. And I can hardly believe this is a debut.
I was crazy about the first novel in the series, but I couldn't anticipate what the author would do with the series.
All the romance series that I've read before were always kind of standalones in the same universe. But the way all three stories in this series are so interconnected was just golden, I can't even explain it. You just have to experience it.
I'm very thankful for the rep in all of the three books. It felt genuine and inclusive and not just for the sake of checking some boxes. I'd recommend looking up trigger warnings, though. Some things might feel heavy.
I don't want to reveal a lot about the plot, I just wish this gets all the hype it deserves. One thing I want to point out is that this particular book is such a homage to real friendship, not just a romance book. And it made me feel some real feelings. To describe love that's above romantic relationships so well requires real talent.
Anyway, please read the entire series. It's so worth your time.

It’s official, Ruby Landers is now one of my favourite authors. Saving Graces was the third novel of hers I listened to, narrated by the fabulous Quinn Riley, and I feel extremely lucky that I still have two books to look forward to that are already published.
Saving Graces is the last instalment in the Grace Notes trilogy, Rosalie’s story. Not only do we get a delightful age gap between Rosalie and twenty-six-year-old Kinsey, Cassidy’s bandmate, Ruby Landers also gives us the backstory on how Savannah and Rosalie met, how they became best friends, how the Rachel Carlson Center came to be, how Savannah’s career started. All the questions you may have had while reading the first two books are answered, and even though the ending is well-rounded, the author leaves the door just open enough for more if she ever feels like it.
As with the previous books in the series, while the story is well plotted and exciting, it’s the characters who won my heart. I love all these people so much and every time Ruby Landers adds one, or develops a previously side character’s story, they become my new favourite. Dual timelines can sometimes feel confusing, but I loved getting to know Rosalie at a teenager and as an adult simultaneously. Her relationship with Savannah is one of the most touching friendships I’ve read, and all her questioning and soul-searching about falling for a younger woman, a friend of one of her protégés—Lane, Savannah’s nonbinary nanny and the MC of Graceless—far from highlighting her vulnerability, instead bolster strength she didn’t remember, shattering her insecurities. It took me a bit longer to warm up to Kinsey, whom I couldn’t get a handle on at first. I wasn’t sure whether her nonchalance was indifference or respect. Rosalie deserves all the respect in the world and I was ready to fight Kinsey if she didn’t treat her well, but it quickly became clear that she was being considerate and mindful of Rosalie’s boundaries.
Saving Graces isn’t only Rosalie’s book, however. It’s also the perfect conclusion to the trilogy, with Savannah and Brynn on one hand, Cassidy and Lane on the other featuring prominently, as well as Coral, giving the reader closure where they’re concerned as well. And then there’s Rachel, Rosalie’s sister, whose story arc broke my heart.
In the audiobook, Saving Graces is followed by the novella Two Tickets—prequel to the Grace Notes books—and if I hadn’t already been sold on Ruby Landers’s writing, this achingly sweet story would have done the trick. After her best friend broke his leg, Maggie finds the unexpected courage to invite the office hottie, August, on a road trip to Vegas to see Twice Struck, Savannah Grace’s band. I sometimes feel much too old to relate to characters in their twenties, but these two… They’re so lovely and charming and I didn’t want to let them go.
As always, Quinn Riley nails the narration, her voices, tone, pace always on point. It’s such a joy to listen to her, and I don’t have the words to explain how incredibly happy I am that she gets more and more sapphic books to narrate.
I also want to mention how perfect Cath Grace‘s covers are for these books. They’re consistent yet different, each fitting the story it accompanies while also clearly identifying the books as a whole.
I’ve often mentioned how ambivalent I feel about ratings, how unfair they sometimes feel, but in some cases—and this is one—a 5⭐️ rating is extremely easy to settle on.

As with the previous two books in this series, I LOVED this book. I love the little community Ruby’s created with this series and I love all these characters so, so much.
I absolutely ADORED all the “before” chapters. I loved getting to know Rachel a little and I really loved seeing how Rosalie and Savannah’s friendship started and grew over the years. These two made me so emotional.
I ADORED Kinsey. Gosh, she’s such a great character and I love the way she slotted into their circle, the way she fit so perfectly with Cassie as a bandmate, a friend, a collaborator.
I loved seeing Rosalie’s growth, especially towards the end of the book. She’s been through so much and it was such a relief to see her finally acknowledge that and do something about her poor coping mechanisms.
I think this one was maybe a little too horny for me, but anyone who knows me knows I’m not much of a spice reader so this is 100% personal preference, and I still loved the book overall!
ALSO THE EPILOGUE?!? I CAN NOT HANDLE BEING LEFT ON THAT?!?
I highly recommend this series to anyone who loves romance books!

I was so lucky that I received an ARC of this 3rd book in the Grace Notes trilogy from the author.
When I started reading this book I soon realized I could not do anything but reading until I finished the book the very same day. The book was for sure that good!

4.5 stars - “Sometimes, no matter who else we love, it’s really our friends who are the great loves of our lives.”
This is an incredible book. Probably my favorite piece of writing about friendship. The romances are important but what really shines here are the friendships, especially in the flashbacks that show Rosalie, Savannah and Rachel (who is the most heartwrenching part of this book).

My god, Ruby did it again! This series is honestly so so good. Like every single one was 5 stars! I was shouted at my multiple people on instagram to read these books and I’m so glad I listened!
I was not disappointed!
Rosalie is a social worker who runs a centre for queer youth. They fight hard to keep trans kids safe (which is so goddam real with what is happening in the world rn!) I think Ruby did a fantastic job covering these topics. It was heartbreaking at times. I felt all the feelings 😭
I tandem read with the audiobook, Quinn Riley, I bow down to you!! Her voice acting is next level and they did a phenomenal job at giving this story life!
The audiobook also had Ruby’s bonus novella, Two Tickets, at the end. So that was amazing!!

After reading this, I now could say that Ruby Landers has become one of my favorite authors. I absolutely love how she writes this trilogy. I am in awe with her writing style, with her storytelling technique. My mind is blown after reading the last installment. And I am craving and looking forward to reading more of her works.
I am literally in tears after finishing this series, it was such a rollercoaster ride. I am going to miss all the characters. I've said it before and Im going to say it again for emphasis how I love the way Ruby have written this series, I love how the previous characters weren't just mere side characters in the current installment and we didn't just get crumbs of them but a whole side storyline (the side characters still has their own conflict and resolution).
I usually dont like back stories, but in this book, I kind of love the way it was written, the author was able to connect the past to the present, which somehow made the whole story come into a full circle. Although, in the end, there are still some loose ends and I feel like the epilogue wasn't enough to wrap it all up. I'm hoping Landers will give us a longer version of the epilogue, maybe an extended version of Rosalie and Kinsey's HEA. Whatever it will be, I just need more. 😭
By the way, Saving Graces is by far my most favorite among the 3 books. I never thought I'd love Rosalie more than Savannah, and Kinsey more than Brynn. Yes, its a common trope, but this one gives me more thrill; Kinsey knows what she wants but not too desperate to beg for it, and Rosalie's conflicted between wanting more and being scared. Also, its how the charactes keep on emphasizing how hot they see each other, which is something for the reader to play with our imagination.
No strings attached? This is not the typical no strings attached plot since they've clearly felt some feelings from the start, the conflict is just one of them has commitment issues, and there are clear boundaries from Kinsey which gave it more thrill making Rosalie and us as a reader crave for more. Also, I love how they keep on doing it, and yet it doesn't feel repetitive. I've read a lot of similar plot from other books and at some point, it feels so repetitive that you dont want to read the "did" part, but its different on this one, it has the right amount of spice that makes you want for more.
I have all the love and feels for the Grace Notes Trilogy especially for Saving Graces. I thought I was over and already had my fill with the age gap trope, but this book has me yearning for more.
This is written in a 3rd person POV and so for me there are just times when i got confuse who's talking about who. But I think that's the only thing I've got problem with, not that big of a deal though. It doesn't affect my love for this series and for the characters that Ruby Landers has created.
The whole series is a must read and it should be talked about, so as how good of an author Ruby Landers is.

I have all the love and feels for the Grace Notes Trilogy especially for Saving Graces. I thought I was over and already had my fill with the age gap trope, but this book has me yearning for more.
This is written in a 3rd person POV and so for me there are just times when i got confuse who's talking about who. But I think that's the only thing I've got problem with, not that big of a deal though. It doesn't affect my love for this series and for the characters that Ruby Landers has created.
The whole series is a must read and it should be talked about, so as how good of an author Ruby Landers is.
Anyway, thank you for the ARC. It is such an honor to have read an advance copy of what I truly believe will become a hit. ❤️

This was amazing! At first, I was apprehensive since I didn’t love Graceless, but as I continued reading this one, I enjoyed it more and more. The emotion, the depth, and the development of the characters were done beautifully.
Rosalie’s story was so complex, and I loved every flashback to her past, which really helped me understand her on a deeper level. The book explored some heavy topics like coming out, grief, and trauma. Rosalie’s growth from a teenager into adulthood was incredibly moving. Despite all the cruelty she faced, she remained loving, kind, and protective. She’s easily the most inspiring character I’ve read this year.
Rosalie and Kinsey had an age-gap romance that just worked. They were really hot together, and I loved how their relationship explored deeper issues like vulnerability and commitment. Their chemistry was undeniable, and their emotional growth felt earned.
The story also revisited the other couples from Falls From Grace and Graceless, which added a nice sense of continuity and closure. It tied in well with the previous book and gave more insight into Cassidy’s career, which was a great connection.
That said, the structure didn’t totally work for me. The book was written in third person, which might be why the POVs weren’t clearly labeled, but it still threw me off. There were a lot of perspectives with Rosalie, Kinsey, Savannah, Cassidy (and maybe even Brynn?), which was kind of overwhelming. I had to rely on context clues to figure out whose head I was in, and that pulled me out of the story occasionally. I usually prefer a more traditional dual POV setup, but maybe I just need to get used to Ruby Landers’s style.
Overall, the pacing was strong, and I liked that the book was on the longer side. It allowed space to develop so many emotional threads. Yeah there were some structural choices I didn’t totally agree with, but this was still an amazing read and I enjoyed every moment 4.5/5.

Ok… THAT ENDING!! COME ON!!!
Please tell me there’s a 4th coming. PLEASE.
I think I might actually love this one more than the first. I’m fresh off finishing it and already desperate for more. I loved getting multiple storylines and spending time with different characters it made the whole book feel richer and more connected to the series.
And the early spice scenes? So good. I loved that there was more spice woven throughout this one.
The only part that didn’t totally land for me was Kinzie’s spiral about being attracted to Cassidy. It felt a bit out of place, but honestly the rest of the story was strong enough that it didn’t take away from how much I enjoyed it.
I’m obsessed with this series. Bring on book four, please.

4.5 ⭐️ I was going to give it four stars but the ending in the epilogue had me gagged!!! I do feel like the book had a lot of Povs and with the flashbacks, it was hard to keep up at times but that could just be a personal issue. Great story telling. Would’ve liked a little more between the two main characters and their relationship towards the end.

This was a perfect end to this trilogy. I appreciate when romance books go a bit deeper than the usual superficial aspects to a romance. Meet cutes are great but it's important to go deeper into how past trauma impacts your ability to trust and love yourself and others and this book is certainly the poster-child for that.
I loved that we finally get the backstory of Rosalie and Savannah's friendship over the years. It's bittersweet, incredibly supportive and fiercely loving of each other from their random introduction in their teens to the modern day. Brynn and Savannah continue to be well-rounded characters whose lives we periodically dip into through characters featured in subsequent books. I wish we'd gotten some insights into the Lane drama since that ends up being a substantial subplot in this book as well as more insight into the Rachel situation but otherwise this was an incredible ode to friendship, supporting young queer people, and tangible progress in the country music scene from Savannah's time to Cassidy's. Truly an incredible trilogy and I can't wait to see what Ruby Landers comes up with next.

Omg what an ending. I loved this series so much and really liked how this book had “Before” chapters. It was nice seeing baby Rosalie and Savannah and their dynamic before Savannah’s fame and fortune all the way up to about current day. I loved all the characters so much, idk which one I fell in love with more 😭
