Marston and Holm are surprised when they're tasked with what sounds like a mundane custody dispute. Apparently, a multi-billionaire’s daughter has gone missing, and his wife has run off with her. As they look into things, though, they discover that the story goes much deeper than they'd originally thought, and digging for the truth seems to lead down a dark and dangerous path. Now, Marston and Holm must find the women and get them to safety before the billionaire, who has the law in his pocket, discovers that they’re onto him. Can they pull it off despite all odds? Or will the crushing weight of the surrounding chaos let the women slip through their fingers... for good?
Matt Lincoln has lived his entire life on the coast and he wouldn't have it any other way. A lifelong fan of Travis McGee, Magnum PI, and just about anyone who knows their way around a boat and a good cigar, Matt now lives where the sand meets the surf with his beautiful wife, a son who reminds him way too much of himself at that age, and an Irish Setter who he can never seem to tire out. Life is good.
Another awesome read from Matt Lincoln as the adventures continue. It's amazing how much material Matt has to write in this series. Marston and Holm have been beat to a pulp, shot, stabled and gutted. This was a new one though. Who would have thought. Great catching up with an old name from a previous adventure. Bailey got into the plot a lot more than usual. Great story and looking forward to more reading.
And never dull, Matt Lincoln leads Ethan and Robbie through one exciting adventure after another, and always with something to be left to Ethan's next recounting of their MBLIS adventures!
Very simplistic. Totally unrealistic. But it's something to read while you're waiting for the doctor and you're totally bored. No investigator could be as stupid as the two in the story.
Another page turner! I've read all of your Coastal Fury books, A d ha e enjoyed everyone of them. Once I start reading,I can't stop until I finish the book.
