Secrets Revealed: Psychological Thriller

Rate this book
Who is to blame for the murders and conspiracy on Emerald Island?

I’m determined to prove that Christian Sanders murdered two people in his employ, Lydia, and Zachary.

Lydia found some incriminating documents in the manor house. Those docs proved Christian’s involvement in the land ownership conspiracy.

Lydia told her lover, Zachary, what she found. Several days later they were both killed.

My superiors are trying to replace me as I get closer to the truth. I must be touching an open nerve.

Other untimely deaths are being blamed on the illegal reconstruction on the island. Unfortunately, one person committed suicide and my parents murder is still not resolved.

As this case heats up, I’m close to finding the truth behind the murders.

Kia, Lydia's therapist, and I have an intriguing relationship that’s growing stronger. But I’m worried something will happen to Kia as he tries to help me.

Others besides Christian would be happy to get rid of me. I’m used to my life being on the line, but not Kia’s too!

I certainly enjoyed this short novel!
The book reads well and is a quick and engaging story; however, I found the complex array of suspects in short interactions hard to track and keep straight who's who. I thought the author did a great job writing in multi perspective; except for the one aspect that this constant change of perspective did not help with keeping the many characters straight. This might have been an even better novel by fleshing it out as a longer novel with more character development (just my 2-cents).
Overall I did enjoy this novel and was certainly engaged from beginning to end!

Wow! This is an edge of your seat thriller and once you begin you just can't stop turning pages until the end. Kitty Forest can't remember much from her childhood nor can she understand how her parents died. She is very stubborn and when she gets a little to close to the truth, it brings her to danger. She was sent back to her hometown by her FBI supervisor to investigate the deaths of Zach and Lydia, which brings her even closer to what happened with her parents. With only small pieces in her memory, she is in deep with the investigation. Was everything attached? With the help of Kia, whether she wanted it or not, she continues her investigations even though her superiors try to get her off the case. But the one person she is dead set on proving is a murderer is Christian who owns the mansion. With so many obstacles to plow through, will she get her proofs, or are the people around her not what they seem? Who can she trust? This is a page turner that you just can't put down. I do suggest you read Shattered Secrets first it would fill in any blanks you may have with this second book. I really, highly recommend this book as well as the first one. The writing flows and it is smooth, and can't wait to see what the author comes up with next. I received an ARC of this book but the opinions expressed here are strictly my own.

A murky past

Kitty Forrest is determined to find out who killed her parents as well as Lydia and Zach. The owner of the Manor could have the answers. Why does the Manor seem so familiar and why can't she remember her past? An intriguing mystery with well defined characters. The plot has a lot of twists and is a page turner.

I really enjoyed the prequel, Shattered Secrets, which you do need to read first to understand what is going on. It was fast paced & captured my attention. Sadly Secrets Revealed didn’t live up to my expectations & was disappointing. Too many characters were not who they claimed to be, it became confusing. The timelines were too mixed. In the end it all worked out. Note tmi sex scenes

I really enjoyed this follow up novel and the twists and turns. Finding out how everyone was hiding something made the ending so much better.
Only complaint I have is that describing the encounters between the main character and the man she falls for took away from everything else.
With all the bad guys arrested and off the island, this should be a very interesting series to follow.

Non-stop thrills will hold your interest until the very end. Suspects abound in this thriller, kept me guessing until the end. Well written characters and descriptive settings make for an interesting read. Would highly recommend this book.

I really enjoyed this book. I don’t typically read a lot of thrillers but this one got my attention and kept it the whole way through. I will say this book will make more sense if you read Shattered Secrets first. We follow agent Kitty Forrest on her double murder case, which leads her to question events from her past. Kitty is a very stubborn woman who doesn’t let anyone stand in her way, she has a tragic past but can’t remember a lot of her childhood. There is a wide range of characters and you never quite know who to trust. If you like murder, conspiracy and a good who done it, I would recommend this book.

Great story

I enjoyed this one very much. So many secrets were brought to light. I would have given it 5 stars but there was a part where I think a big chunk of the story was missing and the timeline was off for a bit making it hard to follow.

Kitty Forest is still trying to find who killed her parents. She has memory loss and cannot put the pieces together. Some people around Kitty are not what they seem. A secret about her name is revealed. An exciting conclusion with danger for Kitty.
