I had this book for a couple of weeks at least. Normally, I find these books to be a wealth of information; maybe, if I would have ordered this book before ordering any other books concerning ancient civilizations, I would have felt the same way. I was hoping to find more areas of ancient civilizations to research, but I found little more than I already had information on.

It is my opinion that the writer of this book tried too hard to “dumb down” the information presented and left out vital pieces of information in the process. I did, however, find that a brief amount of information concerning the 7 wonders of the ancient world was available; enough to direct me into newer areas of research.

Due to the lack of information I expected to find in this book, I can only offer a 3 star rating.
