“I have loved. you since before I knew what love was. I have dreamed of you since I knew what dreams were. You are the air I breath. The beat of my heart.
Help Me Remember was such an intriguing book and one you won’t want spoiled! I love books like this, where the romance is obviously a huge part, but there is a whole different storyline too. Trying to figure something out, memory loss, murder, suspense, and can I just say that I was thrilled to see my favorite Corinne couple make an appearance?

Brielle wakes up to find out her brother has been killed and she’s the only eye witness. The problem? She suffered an injury during his murder and has now lost three years worth of memories. Who killed Issac? Why? And who was her fiancé? Apparently she has a secret one that know one knew about, or at least no one is telling her…. she has to discover these things on her own.

As her memories start to come back it’s so important they’re not tampered with. Issac had three best friends that are there to help her. Spencer, Emmett, and Holden. I loved all three of these guys. I especially loved the hero. This story had me on the edge of my seat, made me think, made me feel, and I loved figuring out the romance along the way!

This was such a great way to spend a winters day, immersed in this swoony, suspenseful read as pieces of her memory at a snails pace slowly started coming back, fitting all the puzzle pieces together for the completed result with help from her brothers close knits friends, and the one guy she'd had a crush on for as long as she could remember.

Brielle wakes up in the hospital, with a memory that has nearly been wiped clean, only leaving her with fragments going back three years ago. Confusion and hurt forefront in her mind as the closest people around her have been told to allow her to gain her memory back naturally without feeding her the missing pieces. The frustration rampant as she struggled daily calling on one of her brother's best friends Spencer, he's that guy, the one she'd had a crush on since she was twelve years old.

This was so easy to get into, not so easy to put down. All the swoony feels came at me and never released me.

I've read a lot of CM books but somehow this felt like it was written by a different author. The writing was so weird or maybe she needed a good editor idk.

This had:

◇Brother's bestfriend
◇Age-gap(which was not even adressed, i still don't know how old was the h🤦‍♀️)
◇Amnesia plot

Utterly illogical boring nonsense with the most selfish, immature dumb h and non existent plot twists given how this was more of a romantic suspense.

The majority of this book is told from the h's pov which fine i get it she lost her memories but she was such a dull, annoying character that i couldn't get invested in the story or the romance bc i didn't feel any chemistry between them.
I think in these cases when they know eachother since kids some flashback scenes would really help. i hate when i'm told they love eachother but where? i didn't see that.

Also the pacing was off, it felt very disjointed with some random scenes that didn't add anything and the plot was all over the place.
The suspense was a joke.

If i wasn't already suffering through a reading slump this definitely would've put me into one.

Listen, over the top drama is pretty much what I expect going into any amnesia romance trope, that being said, I do require a modicum of sense and intelligence regarding the plot and the characters.
Led by the most insufferable heroine I've read in a long while, this merry chase for memories that would help find her brother's killer was a mess.

After witnessing her brother's murder and getting shot herself, Brielle wakes up with no recollection of the attack and the last three years. Autorities and doctors decide the best course of action to help her remember key elements to help catch the killer is to request from her entourage to keep her in the dark about those past three years. Everything that has happened during that time lapse she has to remember on her own. Her family and close friends have been ordered to lie to her. Something about not influencing her memories and her testimony being receivable by the DA's office.

Dubious, vague and so ridiculous but ok, let's roll with this. (Brielle wasn't out of the hospital her family had already broken the rule 3 times, lol!)

Helped by three of her late brother's very capable best friends (though neither of them does shit on page 🤷🏻‍♀️), especially Spencer, her long time crush, she goes back to her life intent on claiming back her memories. I'd put a spoiler here but honestly it's pretty obvious the role Spencer had in her life before, however, the author must have feared some confusion from her readers because she treats us with some random POV chapters from Spencer lamenting about not being able to claim back his sweet Brielle.

Additionally to being boring this development was so contrived. Eventually Brielle gets on with the program and realises Spencer was her boyfriend. The author's idea of a third act conflict was to split Spencer and Brielle after she finds out he lied to her at the beginning. Never mind that she knows her entourage have been asked to purposefully lie to her, Brielle feels betrayed and even accuses Spencer of being the killer.

Parallel to this there's an almost inexistant investigation, there's a mention of security and random leads on the killer coming from nowhere. The mystery plot was absurd to say the least.

What about the romance? I can't say I ever let myself root for the main couple, Brielle was so frustrating I couldn't even project. Safe is to say, this one will be soon forgotten.

Amnesia romanc!? Count me in! This was actually a really fun amnesia romance where the heroine saw her brother die, but doesn't remember that or the last few years. She thinks she's still with her ex and her family is making her regain her memories on her own so that they can stand in court as sufficient evidence for the person who killed her brother. The heroine quickly realizes, though, that she was currently dating someone and may have been in love. It was fun watching her fall for the hero in the present on her way to remembering that she was actually already in love with him. The hero wasn't that big of a surprise for me when he was revealed, but I loved how protective he was of her and how hard he had fallen for her. The mystery behind who killed her brother was just okay and I thought the heroine did something really stupid at the end just for the sake of the suspense, but overall I really enjoyed this book and it was a solid start to the series!

This story is beautiful and is such an amazing read. I could not put it down, I read it in one sitting! This book had my emotions all over the place. Corinne wrote a story that I will reread again and again!

Spencer and Brielle totally stole my heart. Their story is one that will break your heart but is so worth it!
Spencer is her brother's best friend and the one that is always there for her. So of course when she needs help, he is there for her...
Brielle can't remember the past few years and is on the search for answers...

I loved everything about this book and the way the story flowed. This book will suck you in. You will want to know how it ends and everything in between.
I can't recommend this book enough!

I finished this book 3 days ago and I am still trying to string words together to describe how I feel. Lets see if I can sum it up.

OBSESSED!
Best Corinne Michaels book to date!
In top 5 books of 2022 hands down!

I was intrigued from the moment I read the blurb of this book. Throw in brother’s best friend and suspense… I am an absolute goner.
Plus, Corinne might be the absolute queen at throwing in Easter eggs from her previous books and I am here for it. There

There isn’t much I can say because I absolutely hate spoilers, but I will say this. Phenomenal!! Absolutely phenomenal. I already have the audio book preordered and I am dying to listen to this one! I know Andi and Z Webber will do an amazing job bringing these two to life!

Corinne hits us right out of the gate with Help Me Remember. What would you do, how would you react if you suddenly woke up in the hospital one day and discover you can’t remember the last three years of your life?

This story captivated me right from the start. The emotional turmoil Brielle goes through really tugs on the heartstrings. She’s suffered a brain injury, has lost three years of her life, and discovers she’s the only witness to her brother’s murder. Corinne perfectly captures the complete and utter distress that Brielle suffers, from wanting so badly to get her memory back to solve her brother’s murder, to trying to figure out what has been going on in her life these past three years.

Spencer was a tarnished saint for all he was doing to help Brielle. He knows everything about her life, but he can’t tell her anything for fear of jeopardizing the investigation into his best friend – Brielle’s brother’s death. And some of the secrets he’s keeping are a doozy!

Holy moly! The ups and downs! The angst! The stress and desperation! Brielle and Spencer go through the wringer. I loved the suspense element woven through the story, and going along for the ride with Brielle as she tried to figure out if the glimpses she’s getting are actual memories or just dreams she’s trying to bring to life.

SO many guest appearances in this book! And I loved seeing them all. I absolutely love how Corinne always manages to find a way to connect her older characters with her new ones.

There were a couple of times that I wanted to grab Brielle and shake her for the questionable decisions she made, but she’s just human and I probably would have made similar choices had I been in her shoes.

I love that even though so much sadness happened, and the stress levels were high in trying to catch Isaac’s killer and for Brielle to get her memory back, Corinne managed to inject a little bit of levity in the story with a few park scenes involving some very entertaining kids. It’s one of my favorite parts of the book!

I really thought two of the side characters were going to be ending up in a future book together, but in the final scenes of the book, Corinne sets up the next story, and I admit I am super excited to see how it rolls out!

Make sure to download the bonus scene that Corinne wrote for Brielle and Spencer, it is amazing!

OMG - Absolute Writing Perfection!!!!!

Corinne Michaels has a writing style like no other that I have read. More times than I care to count, she has made me want to throw a book or kindle, rips my heart to pieces, and then puts all the pieces back to gather.

Spencer’s mom was always leaving him behind and walking away from him, so he doesn’t hold much faith in having someone to stay. Brielle has been in Spencer’s life for as long as he can remember. As his best friends sister, and with her being younger than them, he has always wanted to stay close and protect her. Of course, with Brie being younger and always with the boys, she has a major crush on Spencer.

This book has everything covered from heart crushing angst, to the love of a lifetime, and a mix is suspense to keep you hanging on to your seat. The ending was perfect and the epilogue even better.

This is the beginning to a great, new, series by Corinne Michaels.

Move over Wyatt! I now have a new leading man in my life and his name is Spencer Cross.

Now to wait for book two, Give Me Love, which will be Emmett’s book, and it should be entertaining.

Simply put….Corinne Michaels is an amazing author. She has a way of writing romance novels where you can feel so many different emotions while reading. It’s truly an experience. This book is a trope you don’t see too often…amnesia.

I don’t want to say too much about it as I don’t want to give anything away. Brie was in an accident that wiped away the last three years of her memories. Due to the circumstances of the investigation, her family and friends aren’t allowed to tell her anything that she has forgotten. The police and DA need her to remember on her own and this becomes increasingly frustrating for Brie and her loved ones.

She looks to Spencer, who is not only her brother’s best friend but also her childhood crush and her friend as well. Spencer is an investigative reporter and they think working together and driving around to the areas she does remember might trigger something.

No one is really prepared for the battle that lays ahead. There were many times I got frustrated because they wouldn’t just tell her something. There were times that I smiled and laughter. Times where I got tears in my eyes and definitely times I wanted to scream but I knew Corinne would make it all worth it in the end.

We got to see some familiar characters as well as get a taste of what’s to come in the future.

Thank you Corinne for being such a wonderful story teller.

What would you do if you woke up and couldn't remember that last 3 years of your life and you are the only one that can identify your brothers murderer? Well if you are Brielle, you do everything you can to remember. Brielle enlists the help of one of her brothers best friends Spencer to help her. I loved that this had more mystery and suspense then we are used to from Corinne but still had all the feels that will gut your heart and slowly put you back together at the end. She knocked it out of the park. Whatever I thought I knew, was wrong and she kept me guessing till the end. Some parts of it I got right away and my heart broke for both Spencer and Brielle. Spencer because he wanted to tell Brielle the truth about everything and Brielle because everyone she loved was unable to tell her anything to keep the integrity of the case.

Brielle is strong, fierce and a fighter and Spencer is the brothers best friend you can't help but fall for. Corinne created an amazing cast of characters and I am left wanting more from them all. I can't wait for the next book.

this wouldve been more interesting without the Hs POV. 🙃 i picked this up because of the amnesia trope. the h loses her memory, and she cant remember that shes been in a secret relationship with her brothers (older) best friend for months. i think it would be more fun if the identity of this significant other was unknown to readers. unfortunately, we get the Hs POV in like...the 2nd/5th chapter and i lost my interest after that. 💀 to compensate, the Hs POV shouldve been full of him pining after & yearning for the h...but they spend time together all the time; hence, the angst wasnt really felt. in addition to losing her memory, the h seems to also not be in possession of her brain because at one point she accuses the H of being the bad guy. then she recklessly goes & confronts her brothers killer alone. 🤡 so, obviously the suspense plotline was stupid.

(read as an audiobook)

Help Me Remember was the kind of story that you fell in love with immediately. It grabbed my attention from the very first chapter and I knew deep down in my bones that I was going to love the main characters with something fierce. And you know what? I was absolutely right.

Brielle has just been through the most traumatic experience in her lifetime and there's nothing that can fill the void of her loss. After learning that she's suffered a head trauma that caused her memory loss, Brielle is determined to piece back the pieces of a past life, find out where she belongs in the present, and have security for her future.

original-1

Along with help from her loved ones and the one man she has secretly been in love with since she was little, Brielle is looking forward to moving on and finding the answers she desperately needs. But with a threat of danger looming in the background, will she find justice before it's too late for herself?

I really enjoyed this one and I loved the flow of the story. It was easy in a sense but there was this mystery around everything and you were left wondering who really did it. Unfortunately I figured it out early on and I wanted a bit more suspense with that part but all around, this was a really good read with wonderful characters that made you wish that you were a part of their circle.

With that being said, I'm excited to read about the other characters in their own stories because I know it's going to be soooooo good!! If you love a good small town mystery romance, then I highly recommend this one.

I honestly don’t know how Corinne does it with every book she writes- She literally blows me away! The reality in all her books- the connections she keeps with her crossover characters from previous series- pure perfection. And No you don’t have to read the previous series to read these books but you will want too!!
The suspense.. the love.. and again.. the connections- ALL THE FEELS!
With Brielle and Spencer- her tragedy and his past.. this story kept you on edge (as always) Trying to figure out the plot twist and assuming you know what happened. Good luck . This is definitely a story you won’t want to put down.. and yes it’s worth all the angst! Loved every bit of it and can’t wait for the next couple!

I shouldn't be surprised how good this book was, I mean each book Corinne has written gets better each time. Slow burns aren't my favorite but Corinne does them so well you are so invested in the story you don't bother worrying about when the love scene comes and goes. Brielle lost her memory and the events surrounding it loosing years of memories. Do you see right there you want to know more! Best of 2022!

ME GUSTÓ MUCHO!!

Truly amazing! I love all of Corinne's books but this has to be my favorite! The storyline was perfect and definitely pulled on my heart strings. Oh the emotions and I could not put this down!! Brielle has lost the last three years of her memory and it's crucial that she remembers in order to catch her brother's killer. Spencer is her brother's best friend and the one who has always been there for her. I just could not wait to see what happens. Suspenseful, steamy and will have you on the edge of your seat. I loved the characters and I can't wait for the series to continue. Highly recommend this amazing read!!!

A gripping story about love and…memory loss??

After a horrific incident leaves Brie with a gap in her memory, the last 3 years of her life to be exact, she is forced to navigate the process of remembering what she has forgotten while dealing with unbearable grief.

With the help of her loved ones, including her brother Isaac’s three best friends- Emmett, Holden, and Spencer, Brie seeks out the truth of her missing memories while also feeling like she can’t even trust the glimpses of her own memories.

What’s real? What’s fake memories? Who is being truthful?

And where did this engagement ring come from???

I hate the amnesia trope and I loved this book—which says a lot for how amazing this book is and this author.

Also, BRB i’m too busy crying over this couple. SHE FELL BACK IN LOVE WITH HIM, EVEN WHEN SHE LOST HER MEMORIES. AND HE NEVER GAVE UP ON HIS LOVE FOR HER.

Seriously. Corinne is a romance queen. Her characters will instantly captivate you and you will be rooting for the couple from page one. I always become so invested in her books!

As someone who adores small town romances but sometimes wants something that feels a little more fresh and different—this was perfect. The romantic suspense of this was really fun, and i just adored it.

I was in a reading slump, and this book pulled me out of it.

Help Me Remember is the beginning of the new Rose Canyon Series by Corinne Michaels.

This book took a different path then the rest of Corinne Michael's books but oh what a path. This story gets you right from the start at Chapter 1 and holds you all through the entire book.

There is romance mixed in with mystery. What would you do if you woke up missing 3 years of your life? So much has changed and yet you are in danger.

You will love this as much as I did and of course this wouldn't be a Corinne Michaels book without some surprise guests popping up here and there.

This just might be Corinne Michaels best book and I definitely cannot wait for the next one!!!

Help me remember is nothing like I thought it would be but in Michaels true fashion, something like I thought it would be. I know that doesn’t make sense, but if you’ve read a Corrine Michaels book before you would understand. She brings the heart gripping angst that only she can do and she sprinkles in her special touches; her signature if you will.

I experienced every emotion, every thought that Brielle experienced. I was learning as she was learning. I was confused when she was confused. Michaels did that to me. She kept me intrigued with her insanely talented words to where I completely invested myself into the storyline. It was not easy. It was actually really really hard because it is impossible to put the puzzle together without all the pieces, and some of the pieces were heavy, devastatingly heavy.

Brielle’s story is a journey. A long journey with so much suspense that it will have you questioning EVERYTHING, but do you know what comes with a journey? Strength, courage, and character growth. Yes, it was utterly terrifying but beautiful in the same sense. Help Me Remember is nothing close anything this author has released, it’s different, but a good different.

* I recommend this book
