Maybe I’m just being too petty on behalf of the fmc over what happened and what the mmc did to her. Don’t get me wrong, I liked the fact that she pushed through and made something out of herself after being humiliated by witnessing the love of her life bringing another woman to her birthday party and announcing the ow as his fiancee. After being thrown in a difficult situation and being forced to marry him, I still applauded her for not being a doormat for him but I HATED that she turned to a putty mess everytime he kissed her. Like, wake up woman! He crushed your heart and insulted your love for him and it was another nine whole damn years until he had to make amend again.
I didn’t care that there’s a supposedly good reason for his action but you don’t bring another woman to the birthday party of the woman you love. Period. And announcing that other woman as your fiancee and embarrassing the woman you love on the most important day of her life????? Yeah, just no.
No safety info on the mmc. He broke up with the ow he brought to the birthday party shortly after and was seen with different women after that. Not sure if he slept around with any of them. But of course the fmc stayed celibate and only got off with using vibrators because apparently nine damn years were not long enough for her to fully move on 🤡

These Indian rep romance books have become a guilty pleasure for me !! Half the time, I’m cringing at them !!
This book moved fast. Not as in they fell in love fast and lived their HEA but as in , it was rushed. They barely spent such less time together. Their relationship didn’t even start properly before they were having sex. From sex they got attached and well ..
I really think Diya was stupid in so many scenes. There are people out there trying to kill you and you still wanna run to them ?? She also had sex with Dheer when she knew he was a cheater so no no !!
I really don’t like dheer. He was a caring husband and all but his reason and way of breaking up with Diya was horrible. I totally get Diya for not moving on with someone else after that particular trauma. He could’ve just easily broken up the engagement without any drama but nope, he had to bring the hired girl at Diya’s BIRTHDAY PARTY and proceed to announce her as his fiancé plus KISS HER in-front of Diya & everybody else … that’s straight cheating! Period!
The plot with the Goel, or whatever their name was, was boring. It wrapped up so easily.

It's been a long time since I've had such a fun time with a book. The royal redemption was equal parts of funny, intense and romantic 🥰
I have read my fare share of books by Indian authors and now I'm so happy to add this book and this author into my favourites list 😻😻😻😻😻😻

I’m currently reading this book and so far liking it. My only problem is why there’s no feeling of guilt or whatsoever from Diya’s mother? Doesn’t she feel bad how much she forced her daughter into marriage and sent her to visit Ayush’s home alone? And even if it’s okay but how can there be no remorse from her after what her daughter went through? Anyways I’m still going to continue reading this book.
Okay, I read it!!!! No matter what I just hate Diya’s mother that’s it! But overall I loved this book and hope next book of Isha and Veer is going to be blast as well.

The author really created a nice ‘Royal’ aura around the book. I loved the book and the ‘Royal’ tags that went along with it.
The characters are well etched and the story seems to just flow.
There is an old matriarch and then there is a manipulating mother.
The supporting characters, the family members all are likable.
Loved the book and am really looking forward to the next one.

I really liked this book. It was a fun fast paced read.
I really enjoyed Dheer and Diya’s characters. The writing was pretty good and it was amazing how the author was able to wrap the whole story in just 220 pages and still give us all the drama, romance and tough conversations. It felt perfect.
Dheer was so cute and I loved Diya’s sassy personality. they are perfect for each other.
Though I felt like the ending was quite abrupt. I wanted to see more scenes of the married couple and Dheer grovelling more.
Though I definitely recommend if you’re looking for a fast paced desi romance.
Excited to read Isha & Veer’s book!

I loved Dheer & Diya's story! Their banter was amazing and I liked the way Diya did not make it easy for Dheer to gain her trust. Dheer still should've groveled more than he did though because what he did not only broke Diya's heart but also destroyed her reputation. Still, I liked the fact that Diya was mature enough not to drag the conflict unnecessarily once the truth was revealed. Overall, I enjoyed reading this book, it was unputdownable and I can't wait for Isha & Veer's story which is up next!

This book had so much potential for a marriage of convenience, however the plot was so shallow and the book felt so rushed. Not much build up to the marriage of convenience. Diya seemed like a strong character until her life was put up against her then turned into this person who let dheer take the lead. Further the "reveal" of why they broke up years ago felt so flat and not properly explored. I did not feel any sort of shock factor when Dheer revealed this information.

My opinion is that book moved too fast and in some places i felt there was no logic .And one of the worst male lead , and dumb female lead .she acts like I'm over him because he cheated and but when he kisses she responds and became mushy.The plot was good but it can drag for sometime and leads there is no real understanding between them

First book I have read from Kyra Seth. I absolutely liked the entire book. It was a quick read but it was something that it was easy to enjoy. I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the books by the author.

Dheer and Diya, both from royal families, were in love long before they understood the meaning of the word ‘Love’. Then, a sudden jumble of events unloaded, and Dheer walked in with his new fiancée, leaving Diya standing at the altar, alone and shattered. Start from this point and dive into the book; I assure you, it will be an enjoyable experience.
Friendship, rivalry, love, and leadership are expressed with great elegance. The connection between the horse Pasha and Dheer was delightful, and Pasha’s attraction to Diya was fantastic. This is an excellent book and comes highly recommended.
