Come and join the bubbly cast of characters coming this summer. An unfolding family drama of heartache, longing, friendship, and secrets on the island of Nantucket.
A Blink of Time is book three of the Sutton Book Club series, a heart-wrenching yet hopeful family drama that unfolds between the glittering shores of Nantucket Island.
Katie writes women's fiction and clean, wholesome contemporary romance. She looks to everyday, real-life family issues to weave stories of heartfelt emotions, love and loss, and everything in between.
Come transport yourself to Martha's Vineyard: an island of vivid blue ocean, white sand, and a lively community of locals, who celebrate everything from the bright New England summers to the cold, yet cozy, snowcapped winters.
When I first started reading this book, I wasn’t convinced that I’d like it…or even be able to finish it. There was just something about it that really grated on my nerves. Of course, I can’t ever really stop reading a Katie Winter’s novel—so I kept reading. Man oh man am I glad I kept going! It took some ugly crying and a ton of tissues, but this book took off like gangbusters. The storyline ended up being totally kick a$$; the characters were amazing; the plot twists and turns literally had you pulling your hair out; and the fantastic HEA between Val and Alex had me laughing and crying like a crazy person. This book definitely belongs in your personal collection as it’s one you’ll enjoy over and over again. (I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book and was once again so impressed!) ❤️❤️
Another book in the Sutton family series. Valerie, an event planner in California, harbors deep resentment towards her father Victor. She was hastily married to childhood friend Alex. Returning home to plan an event, she realizes Alex is in Nantucket. Facing problems of his own, Alex works the night shift at the family hotel. An unexpected guest brings Old feeling to the surface.
Can the Sutton family forgive past hurts? Will Victor write a tell all novel? Will Valerie write about the damage Victor did to the family?
Thank you to the author for this ARC. This review is my honest opinion.
Book 3 highlights Valerie Sutton and Alex Garland. The complexities of the Nantucket Suttons fuel the plot. Valerie leaves California for her home on Nantucket to write a scathing book about her father at the same time her father, Victor, tries to redeem himself by writing a book about himself and his fall from grace. The reader meets a lot of unscrupulous characters whose only concern is wealth and status. The amazing Katie Winters provides us with a great story. As always, the most important thing in her world is family and love. I highly recommend this book.
I just fall into a very happy and relaxed mood when I start reading one of Katie Winters’ books! She introduces the characters in a way the reader has to play detective to figure out who they are to each other! Then there are her subtle deviations that challenges me to read on and root for certain characters. Reading a Katie Winters’ book, in this case, A Blink of Time, was a pure pleasure for me!
Blink of Time is book 3 in the Sutton Book Club series by Katie Winters, 4.5 stars
Up next is Valerie, the last Sutton to return to to Nantucket with resentment for her father, broken hearts from the past, family issues, planning events, forgiveness and more…
I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy (ARC) of this book from the author. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Valerie and Alex, not perfect, but a step /leap in the right direction. But Victor, better Kate than never, comes through with courage and determination to reclaim the role.of patriarch of the Sutton family. Near misses and broken promises led to a delightful ending and/or.beginning of two sets of lives made whole again. Katie Winters knows love.
The story of love and forgiveness continues. So much fun to read about the girls all coming home (with their children), and reconnecting with their mom and dad. I'm ready for the next book!
Another great book. Ahhhh, family dynamics. What a challenge. Mr parents and brother are gone now. We certainly did not get along all the time. Lots of drama. Looking forward to the next book.
The story was great. So happy all the people in the story had a good out come in their lives. Happy to see a family repaired from years of mixed emotions. Thank you for a great read.
Another hit. I really enjoyed this story with the usual drama and ups and downs with the Suttons. Katie’s writing is so engaging that I read it in one setting. ❤️
Love the Suttons and there love ! So glad they all came back together. Can’t wait to see what comes next in book 4 when it becomes available on Kindle unlimited.
Great story,I love how the story finally brings everyone back together.Their stories are so heart warming, you just want to grab them and give them a big hug.
This book focused on Valerie - event planner extraordinaire who also has deep resentment to her father Victor Sutton. She winds up back in Nantucket for the summer, helping her family plan an event but also trying to write the tell all book about her father. She finds that he has changed more than she thought he did and that she has changed too. She also realizes her true love and husband Alex is also back in Nantucket - will they make amends? What will happen to the Sutton family book club?
