Perhaps a little biased as I have known the author since her birth- but the poems on these pages are perfect samples of the life and the people I know and love.
The book itself is short and sweet- and I wanted a hundred more pages. I read only a couple poems at a time, trying to savor each beautiful page.
I LOVE what I read, as well as what the poems are about - and who wrote them.
I can’t wait to see what my beautiful cousin comes up with next!

We can all benefit from exploring and appreciating "the micro-moments of joy that we can earn simply by being human." This invitation from poet Kelsey Knott is fulfilled in the 21 poems featured in her first publication, GLIMMERS. We visit her childhood home, endearing relatives, ordinary moments like rain on the rooftop, and special moments like the night no Halloween trick-or-treaters had come--till Mom and Dad dressed up and came to the door to save their daughters from disappointment. Writers will resonate with lines like "spilling life on a page mends my most broken corners." Messages of the importance of self-care abound.
