Penny is driving when her car breaks down in Whispering Winds and the mechanic tells her that it will take to get it fixed with parts ordered and the work. She is forced to stay in town. As she is crossing the street, she sees a giant of a man carrying a big burlap bag on shoulder. They make eye contact; him from his mirror and her staring at him. Penny decides to hike the next day when she falls and hurts her ankle, no cell service. Griff, the mountain man from town, rescues her after a mountain lion appears and she screams. He carries her to his cabin and treats her ankle. Follow the adventure.

Lizzy has returned to Whispering Winds after 4 1/2 years away at culinary school and working. She left after Chase, her brother's best friend and her crush, pushed her away. He had just returned after leaving as quarterback in the NFL due to injury and was still going thru the mental and physical chaos. He had purchased the Whispering Winds Inn where Lizzy's MOM worked and now Lizzy also worked. Chase worked remotely and kept in touch with his businesses thru video cameras.
Lizzy has gone wild mushroom hunting while Chase has gone trout fishing along the river. Lizzy accidently falls into the river upstream; and when Chase hears screams from Lizzy, he jumps in with a fishing net to rescue her. He takes her back to his cabin only about 10 minutes away since a storm is coming. Will she learn his secret? Do they have a chance together?

Okay get comfortable because there are four books yep you read that right four whole books and once you start you won’t stop until the last page of the last book has been turned. The Man of the Mountain – Penny is a magnet for trouble the moment she arrives in Whispering Winds she has faced one situation after another, but it all leads to Giffen the mountain man who saves her 😊. The Boss of the Mountain this is a second chance sort of Lizzy returns home to Whispering Winds accepts a job in the inn where she into her brother’s best friend the one man that she couldn’t forget no matter how many years pass Chase happens to be the one man she couldn’t forget and she happens to be the untouchable women considering she is his best friends little sister 😊. The Recluse of the Mountain – I want to give Juliet a huge hug especially after catching her soon to be fiancé locking lips with his best man on her wedding day so she does what any women would she runs to the mountains right into a storm and a cabin that belonged to a sexy mountain man Aiden who prefers his own company to anything else until the unwanted guest starts to mean something more to him 😊. The Grump of the Mountain -Quinn is sweet works as the barista at the Windy Brew and every time her favorite customer comes she gets all giddy but Beau sexy as all get out recluse who comes in for his coffee fix oh truth be told to see to also get his fix of the barista but neither thinks the other feel the same way until a storm trap them together where are our couples headed maybe happiness?

This was a cute mountain man romance. It was a short, over the top instalove story and it had a rather fast pace. The storyline was simple but entertaining. Penny and Griffin had great chemistry and I liked their HEA.

This was a really good brother’s best friend romance. It was my first book by this author and completely chosen because of the cover and the story did the cover justice. It was a well written story with some steam. I really enjoyed it and I hope to read more by this author.

Mountain Men of Whispering Winds, books 1-4 is a fabulous box set that collects the first four novellas in this series. I am new to Tessa Klein’s writing, and I’ve absolutely fallen in love with it. I am definitely a sucker for a hot, OTT alpha male book boyfriend, and she writes them in spades! Each story in this box set is compelling, sweet, hot, and fun. The chemistry between the characters leaps off the pages, and you can’t help wanting more. With fire and spice, explosive heat, action, drama, and so much more, each novella provides you with all the feels and will keep you hooked from start to finish. I will definitely be reading more of this author’s work!

This is my first time reading this authors work and I enjoyed every moment of this box set. The series is based around the mountain men of Whispering Winds finding love. I adored each couple and their journey to love. There is plenty of spice, romance and humor in these instalove stories. Makes you want to find a mountain man of your own. A wonderful 4.5 star read.

What a collection. I couldn't stop. Had to read the whole set of four. My oh my what a set. I am literally at a lost for words. My emotions are off the chart. My smile is from ear to ear. Can't wait to start the next book. A definitely must read. Talk about romance. The imagination in these books are unbelievably beautiful. To any reader. You have got to read this series.

I loved all4 of these books and can’t wait to read more about these mountain men. I will definitely recommend this series to friends and family.

Not one bad one in the bunch. I loved the romance, passion and storylines. There was nothing missing just all good feelings.

My favorite was book #4. All stories basically the same premise, but well written. Why are all female characters in these books virgins? Doesn’t seem like that would matter.

each of the 4 books was written with identical a scenes and verbiage. no real difference in characters.
