Yay! Our love triangle is over! Also a solid mystery, I thought there were plenty of candidates for who may have commit the crime and why. The biggest selling point is the entire story that the author creates. We care about our MFC and the people around her. I also love this setting it is a small mountain where people all grew up together and know each other. I loved it and can’t wait for the next.

We're back in Ripple Creek with Scottie and (as you might expect) there has been some crime she needs to deal with. Since this crime is causing a dip in her bakery sales (thanks to the bad guy using her pie as the weapon of choice), Scottie has a VERY personal reason for figuring out who did the deed.

While the criming is bad, Scottie is also dealing with her realization that there is one man she'd be very sad to not see again. Let's just say things are happening on that front, but it's a bumpy ride. And with the crime-solving at the front of her to-do list (because she likes her bakery and wants to keep it open), her issues with the two men in her life are another thing she ahs to deal with. (To be fair, dealing with that issue isn't a hardship, necessarily, but it is another thing taking up real estate in her brain.)

Some pointed questions, pie that doesn't at all deserve the bad reputation it's getting, kisses, decisions, and one lady who is determined to get to the bottom of the crime committed so her pies don't take the blame. *thumbs up*

A Pie for a Pie is London Lovett’s delicious new Scottie Ramone novel and it’s well worth reading!

You’ll love the pie eating contest and the Dalton-Cade intrigue ( who will win Scottie’s heart?). Unfortunately there’s a death at the pie eating contest that turns out to be a poisoning. Since all the pumpkin pies were from Scottie’s bakery no one will buy holiday treats there.

Because her employee Jack has a record Dalton considers him a suspect but is proven wrong.

So Scottie has no choice but to try to find the murderer. And she does. You’ll never guess who it was. And then she picks her man. Which one do you think it will be?

You’ll love this crazy story!

Another fabulous Scottie Ramone book! I did not want to put it down. The culprit was a little more difficult for me to figure out (not a complaint), there were a couple red herrings, which I enjoyed as it kept me guessing and figuring things out. The descriptions make me feel I'm in the town in the fall right there with Scottie. Scottie's bakery sounds amazing; I wish I could visit and try her goodies. Still waiting to see where Scottie's love life goes; there are two good and viable options. Its hard to pick a side! I love the food and holiday themed book too.

Another sweet treat

The characters in this series will keep you coming back. It is fun traveling life with them. They are real and relatable. The women are smart and strong. Enough plot twists to keep you reading and thinking. A book that makes you smile when you close the last page.

I absolutely love everything about this series! So much fun in this one as Scottie makes a decision about her feelings for Dalton and Cade. I must admit I was pleasantly surprised!!!!! Lots of suspense as in that just like Scottie I was back and forth on the killer.

Scottie Solves Another One!
I love this series and this latest book was really good. A twisty crime to solve and a bakery to save.
The mystery was very well told and had me holding my breath a bit. I received an early copy to read and highly recommend it.

Who kills with a pie?

Scottie needs to save her bakery, it got a bum rap when one of her pies is used to kill someone. All she needs to do is find the killer.

The perfect cozy read to exercise your sleuthing abilities during this autumn season. The action kicks off quickly with a death at Ripple Creek's annual pie eating contest and the mode of delivery for the killing ingredient is none other than our beloved Scottie's pumpkin pies.

With Thanksgiving approaching and orders being withdrawn from Scottie's bakery, it's a race against time to find out whodunit and clear Scottie and Jack's good names and restore the bakery's reputation. As per usual, London leaves the reader guessing and second guessing who committed the crime and what their true motive was.

Another great installment for a series I can't get enough of!
