Rate this book
Love is messy, sometimes sloppy, but when you finally figure it out, it’s full of charm.

As Jenny and Kyle navigate newly married life with a newborn, single dad Matt embarks on his own journey to happily ever after. But it’s not without its drawbacks. Fallon is still giving Matt the cold shoulder when he meets animal rescuer Angela. After Fallon makes it clear she’s not interested in rekindling their short-lived romance, Matt begins dating Angela. About the author

Jessi Hansen

Jessi Hansen was raised in sunny San Diego, but her heart found its true home in Oklahoma, where she followed love all the way to the quiet hum of small-town life.

Now, she spends her days surrounded by the beautiful chaos of motherhood—chasing after little feet, tending to backyard chickens, and keeping an eye on the ever-changing sky. In the rare quiet moments, she finds comfort in words: the ones she reads to her children, the ones exchanged over shared coffee with her husband, and the ones she weaves into stories of her own.

Jessi writes heartfelt tales about spirited heroines and the men who see them clearly—stories rooted in love, resilience, and the kind of endings that make you believe in second chances. Her books are a tribute to family, friendship, and finding beauty in the ordinary.

Flubs Out Inside Another Woman While Telling Himself He Hates It, WRONG, The Body Is The Organ Of Emotion, You Chose Betrayal Of That Bond Thus Demonstrating What It Means To You

So gross.

He is not in love with Fallon.

He is in love with the idea of controlling her fire.

Love is messy?

Your love maybe.

He fucked someone else and horrendously abused Fallon.

And Jen affirmed him, the Communally Abusive bitch.

Some best friend.

Encouraging your friend to create a bond with someone else when they are still bonded.

Gross.

Oh my gawd when he fucks Angela, and is able to do it, it turns my stomach.

Shes so empty.

Who likes animals but judges pokemon?

What a fucking alien.

And he fucked her?

Gross cunt.

No grovel, all excuses.

Bored.

I really hate Jenny, starting the shit with Angela and then encouraging Fallon.

Ugh, Jenny helped Matt punish Fallon and its gross.

Oh wow!

I truly hate Kyle & Matt's parents, these poor boys had it rough! It's no wonder they both grew up not knowing what to do...Kyle left Jenny for 5 years finally got himself together! Matt could have been there, but messed up so many times, but heck Jenny was actually meant to be with Kyle in the end, Matt then ended getting rage drunk & stupidity had unprotected sex with Audra, got involved with Fallon said hurtful things then they spilt up only to date Angela to hurt her, but things finally ended up going good Fallon & Matt marry & they adopt Izzy

meh

I really loved the first two novels, but I gotta say, this one disappointed me a bit. This one was supposed to focus on Matt, but we get these chapters that have us still reading about Jenny and Jake. I really wanted this one to focus more on Matt and him moving forward with his life. It didn't need those other chapters that had no involvement with him at all. Otherwise, when it was focused on him, it was good. Solidly emotional and raw.
