However, her arrival at Whimsy Academy is met with challenges. Icelyn struggles to control her powers, often leaving a trail of frosty mishaps in her wake. Amidst her struggles, she finds solace in the company of her newfound Ember, a fire fairy, and Thorne a fellow winter fairy. Together, they navigate the whimsical halls of the academy, facing magical creatures and daunting trials.
But, trouble arises when a dark force threatens the academy and the professors. With the school on the brink of peril, Icelyn and her friends must unravel ancient mysteries and harness their elemental powers to save their beloved academy.
Icelyn is the first in the series and draws inspiration from both “Tinker Bell" series by Disney and the "Harry Potter" series by J.K. Rowling. Icelyn is the first in a series of short chapter books that offers a unique blend of magical elements and is perfect for 2nd and 3rd grade reading levels, but can still be appreciated and loved by older ages.

Such a sweet, heartwarming story. The fairies attend a magical academy to learn more about their seasonal powers. Kendra did a great job of creating a beautiful background for this series. What a cute idea for them to have animal companions. I really enjoyed reading this.
Such a cute little story. My girls are older teenagers, but I will be sharing this with nieces and friends with daughters. It was lighthearted and sweet. I love it!!
