I got half-way into this until the Kool-Aide got too strong. I was trying to give it the benefit of the doubt and suspended disbelief in the hopes of a good disaster survival tale. Nope. The characters are complete idiots who can't see what's in front of their faces because they want to believe other things. Other things are believed like a religion while 'religion' is denigrated. No thanks. Next.

Not sure what the whole point of this novella was. Very weak plot. Mish mash of themes and tropes.

The premise sounded interesting. The seed repository in an end of the world scenario where climate change has become more and more rampant. The best and worst of humanity is focused on the workers and a rescue. Ending was a bit flat even with the alternate ending. An okay read
