I feel like this has wrapped the trilogy up nicely and we've seen all 3 brothers settle into a life together with their Callie and little Molly while trying to grow their family.

I'm not going to lie, I wasn't expecting this at all. I assumed a quick smutty filled novella, but this gave the reader so much more!

The first and second books were incredible. At some point in the second book, I honestly was so invested. It had the fast burn I love but with this intriguing character building and plot and twists that made these books so interesting.
Unfortunately, the third book left a slight downer on these books for me.

Overall, decent trilogy.
Spicy, smutty scenes.

CurVy13 is the Black Label of Romance by Nicci Harris

I adore this series just as much as the rest of her work. I literally screamed when we found out we were getting CurVy Baby.

First, I apologize, because it’s taken be forever to read lately as I’ve been dealing with severe upper respiratory illnesses.

But, diving right in? This book was everything we needed. These damn Vaughn brothers. 🥵 If I can’t have a Donnie I don’t want him.

They’re all learning to acclimate and live with one another. Parenting and adapting to the changes that have happened in their lives was beautiful.

The growth and healing that happens in this book is beautiful. Nicci always manages to bring you intense spice that leaves you sweating yet provides depth to the stories that make your heart ache.

This series is amazing. CurVy Baby is out NOW! Run. Don’t walk. I’ll always recommend Nicci Harris books.

Everyone knows @author.nicciharris is one of my favorite authors on this planet so I was honored to read an #arc of Curvy Baby. Curvy Baby is the final installment in the Curvy 13 Playlist trilogy and it's part of Nicci's Black Label novellas, which is a fancy term for her especially dark, quick, and spicy books! I have enjoyed the trilogy as a whole (and who here doesn't love a quick and dirty book??) but this one hits some of my very favorite tropes:

I noticed it more in this book than the previous 2 but Nicci does such a great job getting into each character's head. You wouldn't even need to see whose POV you're reading because their thoughts are so distinct. Tyler's POV is pure poetry, a stream of consciousness, thoughts disjointed and musical. Donnie's is feral and singularly focused. Vallie is sweet and empathetic, able to be all things to each of her men. Dexter is dominant and possessive of his entire family.

The long and short of this book is that Dexter is back from his stint in prison and is figuring out how to re-integrate into his family, his business, society as a whole. Even though it's a quick read, it's a great study on what it means to be part of a family that accepts you for everything that you are, even if what that is, is broken.

Side note - Dexter is my favorite character. He is my stand in for Clay, my forever book husband (and also a character from Ms. Harris). We love a daddy dom!!

Working together

I couldn't wait for this last book to be released, so when it did, I reread book 1 and 2. Book 3 bring dexter home and follows their lives as they try to reconnect and integrate dexter into the new family. Each brother has his own issues and way they link with vallie. It's a dynamic that has to take time and work out. I really enjoyed this series and was well worth the reread to remind myself of where it all started with curvy 13.

“Curvy Baby” is the conclusion to Vallie, Dexter, Donnie and Tyler’s story.

We finally get their happy ending as the three brothers try hard to impregnate the heroine, deal with their jealousy and feelings, and succeed in being good father to their adopted daughter and upcoming offspring.

What a conclusion!!! These brothers.... ddaaaannngggg they are beautifully tortured. This line rattled me to my core- "Sometimes, it’s necessary to see the truth, the tragedy, not merely be told it exists."... the things this family has gone through, what it took to survive, what it took for each of them to find their place in thriving. I could have read hundreds more pages about this family and yet also love the completeness of this world. So beautiful

Review:
It felt like when you have a Wattpad story idea but want to make money so it needs to be longer. Nothing happened, and even though character development should have been the driving force, the only change at the end was Dexter no longer helicopter-ing Tyler anymore.
Vallie's character was stagnant.
This was a serious disappointment, especially considering how good the first book was.
It's giving 'movie that killed its franchise' vibes.

While Why Choose/RH typically isn't my go-to, Nicci totally is! I came across these novellas a long while back and absolutely fell in love with the Vaughn brothers and their Valentina, aka "Vallie Baby," "Pup," and "Baby Girl."🥵

In this final installment (maybe?), the dynamic between all 3 brothers and their woman is put to the test when Dexter is released from prison, and has to learn to love and accept the established trio. This group is put to the test when other challenges arise and hearts are broken.👀

While I have loved each character in the previous 2 books, I especially loved Donnie's character development. He stole my heart with his protective, possessive, and thoughtful behavior. He's always had those behaviors, but we see more of it in Curvy Baby.❤️

Thank you, Nicci, for the ARC and for another engrossing novella! I seriously hope this is not the end to our Vaughns!🥺😍

Nicci Harris the goddess herself has outdone herself again and made another masterpiece I LOVE this cury trilogy

These 4 have made me fall in love with them again like it was just yesterday each character has its own spot with me and it’s in a safe place

One of the things I will point out that I did love was the fact that when he came out of prison he didn’t immediately fall in line/place I love that it showed the process and that its not as easy as it may seem to the other eyes of people I love that it showed not only the good but also the troubled parts of the process

Vallie was a character I instantly felt connected and comfortable with and I love how big her heart is for those brothers she became the thing that brings them together so beautifully and let’s not forget how much of a wonderful mother she is no matter what and I’m happy she got the big family at the end of the day

Donne our possessive man has always been one of my main favorites will always and forever do whatever it takes to defend his family and seeing him become a father was something I really did love to see (especially that tree scene)

Tyler our big soft piano genius will forever be a golden retriever boyfriend I loved him before the book even came out if that’s even possible and I love seeing him with their daughter and their relationship

I always loved the daddy vibes from Dexter and his kind of softness he had for Molly and how he took care of her I loved that he tried to make amends with his brothers for being absent and everything else and how end the end got to be a family with his brothers and vallie and Molly

Reading the end of this story made me sad but at the same time happy that we got to see all of them together and happy and thank you again to nicci harris for making this beautiful story for us we love you❤️ oh and may Ryan have the best luck with Molly’s fathers

Compared to the previous two books in the series, this is very domesticated. We get to follow them as they work out a way to parent Molly (their adopted daughter) together & introduce their brother into the dynamic. Of course, it isn’t all perfect. There is angst, passion & wild smut.

The only problem is, it’s way too short. I honestly could read this foursome forever. Reading the end of this story made me sad but at the same time happy that we got to see all of them together and happy and thank you again to nicci harris for making this beautiful story .

Currently devouring an advanced copy of Curvy Baby by the absolutely incredible Nicci Harris—aka my forever author who always delivers! This is the final instalment in the Curvy Playlist Trilogy, and let me tell you, it’s bringing all the dark, unhinged, reverse harem spice I love. 💋

Sometimes short and sweet hits the spot, but when it comes to this trilogy, Nicci turns up the heat in all the right ways. 🔥You would think after the last 2 books, I would be used to this level of spice, but Nicci turned up the level to super spicy. Just be sure to keep well hydrated when you dive in.

Now, let’s talk Vaughn brothers… I know everyone’s made their choice, but for me? It’s Dexter all the way, because let’s be real—Daddy’s always daddying. 👀 Now don't get me wrong, I love broody Donnie and the unhinged golden retriever vibes of Tyler, but I just can't resist a James Bond in a suit, Morally Grey broken anti-hero and Nicci never fails me.
I loved how Dexter fit in and the way he ripped through her insecurities, he's so bossy and even Vallie can't help but submit..through all her sass..

If you love dark romance, but looking for something that is lighter on ploy and heavy on spice, but with some depth and amazing writing, then you will love Vallie and her trio of unhinged morally grey heroes. Start with CurVy13 and CuRvy Forever.

Definitely not enough pages, chapters, 'pups' and all round unhinged romance for me. This book is far too short. I could live within these pages endlessly. I kinda love Vallie and her unhinged trio of brothers. Tyler continues to be the musical genius golden retriever (with a dirty mouth!) whose restlessness is calmed by Vallie's presence in his life. Donnie remains the dark shadow over the story. He is the control and the order to this family. He loves wholeheartedly and will take vengeance on anyone who threatens those that he protects and loves. And Dexter is finding his place amid this unique family. He sees that Vallie is already established with his twin brothers and needs to find a way to fit. He is too late to protect his brothers from the mental issues that torment them. So Dexter has to find a way to be. To accept and fit in and find a way forward with all of them.

For a group whose origins lie in crime, obsession, dub con and violence, Curvy Baby is surprisingly domestic. These 4 know they are going to be together. So this is them finding a way together as parents to Molly (their adopted daughter) and trying-to-not-try for their own baby too. It isnt all plain sailing but Nicci sandwiches their angst with plenty of passion and unadulterated smut (DVP anyone?).

If you've read and loved the brothers and Vallie in the first two books in the Curvy series, this is a must read. If you are new to these crazies, I thoroughly recommend you read the first two books as well as Curvy Baby.

This was an absolute perfect ending to this book! Vallie being the center and glut that brings her guys together as her men and a s brothers. You have to love Vallie in all of her booktok ways as we all want an epic why choose in our lives. When I tell you this is a quick spicy read it took me one day to finish it. You don’t loose anything in the short 152 pages. You return to the live it the three of them. You get the angst all of them are trying to adjust to in their new life. You get the craziness of the way each one loves her do deeply but unapologetically intense. I hate to see this trilogy end but Nicci gave them HEA that they deserved and needed. Another reason I will always be a huge Nicci fan!

Nicci has done it again! At this point, I’m convinced she can do no wrong. Curvy Baby is the perfect finale to the Curvy 13th Trilogy, delivering everything I hoped for and more.

This book was packed with spice and the unhinged chaos we’ve come to love from the Vaughn brothers. Nicci masterfully captured the family dynamics between the guys, Vallie, and Molly, weaving their relationships with warmth, humor, and intensity. The writing was perfect—sharp, heartfelt, and brimming with emotion.

If I have one wish, it’s that this was a full-length novel. I wasn’t ready to let go of these characters!

This may be a quick read but what a novella it is. Vallie and her boys, Dexter, Donnie and Tyler light these pages on fire from the first chapter. These men are all so different it gives you the best of romance alphas in one epic read. They are unhinged and possessive over Vallie, but you also see the loving side as well with how they care for their family. The emotions they have as they are all trying to adjust to their new circumstances trying to figure out how Dexter fits with them. I loved Daddy Dexter wow that man has a dirty mouth you can't get enough of. This book may be small, but it had a powerful punch, absolutely loved it. I as given this book as an ARC for my honest review.

Nicci knocked it out of the park for these four in the first two other books in this series & I knew the spice was going to be absolutely filthy! Daddy Dexter truly lived up to his nickname especially in the bedroom, you needed a fan near by when any of the Vaughn men went in the same room with Vallie. She is truly living out every book girls dream over here, plus being the best mom possible. Tyler obviously has a soft spot in my heart, so when it came to those tough moments, my heart was breaking. Donnie treats his Pup like the curvy queen she is, worshiped by three bothers that can’t get enough of her. Such a great novella to the series, I’m always up to read about these four!

3.8 stars - okay i was very excited for this and did enjoy it!! just maybe was not my fav of the trio.

i rlly loved getting to see these three work out their dynamic, but i feel without the major conflict we’ve been following, this book didn’t really have much plot kinda? idk it just felt super super disjointed and i kinda didn’t know why we kept time skipping all of a sudden? i liked it but ya, def felt not as flowy as the last 2 novellas ngl.

regardless tho, smut was hot. there was dvp at the end, bukkake type shiii, threesome & foursome shit, n then ofc like primal play as well as daddy kink stuff !!!

I can never get enough of Vallie and the Vaughn brothers! I fly through each book and then I wish I had more to read.

With Dexter out of prison, he's now finding his place with Vallie, Donnie and Tyler and though it may take a minute, it of course it all falls perfectly into place. As it should! Not only with them, but with their new daughter Molly. They're the perfect little family, in their own unique way, and I was loving all of the enthusiastic efforts to grow their family even more 🤭

I love that we get each characters pov, the spicy times, the sweet moments and everything in between. I could totally read about them forever!

Vallie and her men. This book is short and steamy. It was the perfect conclusion to this novella series. Daddy Dexter is back from prison. He's missed spending time with his family. Dexter is ready to rekindle his relationship with Vallie. The brothers are ready for Vallie to be pregnant and they definitely give it their best shot. Pun intended. There are some sweet moments with their adopted little girl Molly. Molly is ready to be a big sister.

This book is a dark why choose romance. The heroine of the book does not choose a man and is with all of them at some point in the story line.

Its a book worth devouring, and in one sitting too! I've read over it a couple times now and i love it!
Who wouldnt want a husband, a boyfriend and a daddy? Val has men who adore her in every way, and love every one of her curves.
Dexter brang a different vibe to their relationship, and had to fit in with them after a stint away but i love how they made it work even when they have different dynamics. 3 different men, but she loves them all in their own way.
I love that they got their happily ever after

Each brother loves in a different way and we see it in each scenario 👀👀 I honestly couldn't pick a favour because let's be honest who could, you get a Daddy, a husband and a cinnamon roll 😍

Ty, Donnie and Dexter are devoted to vallie it just takes them a lil bit of time to get used to their new family dynamics but with Vallie at the center of these brooding caring men, nothing is impossible!

This series has my heart! 💖 The bond between the Vaughn brothers and Vallie is so special, and seeing Donnie and Tyler as proud dads absolutely melted me. 🥹 Their love for Vallie and their little girl shines so brightly, and her dream of giving her daughter a sibling adds so much heart. Dexter’s journey adjusting to civilian life was raw and emotional, and Tyler’s moment wrecked me, testing the brothers’ bond in ways I didn’t expect. Vallie is one lucky woman, and this story just keeps getting better! 🖤
