plus size model my butt

So many things are annoying in this. To have it be such a frequent mention that’s she’s “big” when really she’s a medium in size, and the cover photo for the book shows she’s not big either just nails it in how dumb this is. Could’ve just made her a regular model for ffs.

Also it was just fast pace, like the characters are barely interacting but suddenly they’re falling for each other? These men are in their forties, they should at least be smarter than this.

There’s also just general randomness thrown in like how the dads death looks purposeful but it’s brushed aside, etc. Make it make sense.

Blurred Lines is the first book I've read by this writer and I enjoyed reading it. I'll keep an eye out for my more books by this writer in the future that's for sure.

Plus size model - Emily (FMC) ends up back home on her father's vineyard with her sister - Flora trying to sort the will and that all of the problems that they seem to have there after her father's death. Luckily her father's best friends - Finn, Silas and Caeleb are on hand to help her with plenty of steamy scenarios between all of them. Underhand step family members and sabotage at the vineyard all went together to make for a good read.

Emily Martin is a beautiful plus size model from New York City who's bitter with both her parents from past childhood issues that is unresolved. She hasn't forgave her mom for what she did and barely communicates or has a relationships with her. She's also estranged from her dad for what he did to her mother is constant cheating and putting the vineyard before them. He started a new family instead of fixing his old one. Emily is taking part in a Cristina fashion and for time she was opening the show. As she strutt across the stage her eyes made contact with the audience and her gaze fell on this handsome older man with his curly hair the shades of dark chocolate, an electric smile and dimples. Then suddenly it feels like the world was only him and her in it. She's not one for insta-love so the feeling felt alien to her. The show ended and she went to the after party at the Presidency.
As she stands admiring the table and everything at the event. She said how everything looked amazing to no one in particular. Suddenly a voice behind her said thank you and it was silver fox man from in the audience who caught her eyes. He tells her that is name was Caeleb and that he was the chef who created it. The two flirted with each other and decided to hook up. He her to the garden and lean her on a tree and pounded inside that kitty and gave her a climax that she never normally gets. Caeleb wanted to see her after their tryst but Emily doesn't do relationships. He was in the mist of trying to convince her for coffee when she received a phone call from her sister Flora about their dad's passing then she tells Caeleb that she had to go, he felt rejected. Caeleb is chef with a thriving restaurant in New York City.
His friend Cristina begged him to do showcase after party for her fashion show. He was glad to he did it after his encounter with Emily. He's single father and is currently in nasty custody battle with his ex-wife over their ten year old son Brian. Caeleb was sitting at Mikey bar drinking when he received call from Sila telling him that their best friend Harvey Martin had died from a heart attack in his armchair and that he had found him. He tells him that he should come because he knows that his evil wife Verona wouldn't let them no way around the vineyard. They all have investments in the vineyard Finn, Caeleb and Sila. Emily went to Emberton because she wanted to see him one last time. However, her step-mother Verona and step-brother Alec was nasty. At funeral Emily notice some men paying their respects. At the end yhey all came over and she was shocked to see Caeleb.
He tells her that he didn't know that she was Harvey's daughter. The will was read immediately after the service. Emily and her sister Flora got the vineyard. But Emily got more she received the estate, house and vineyard. He left Verona and Alec his collection of ceramic garden gnomes. Verona was pissed and threatened a law suit for what happened against them. Flora immediately threw her and her son off the property. Not long after bad things started to happen at the vineyard. Finn was at a very important meeting with Mr. Robert Davenport, a real estate mogul on the biggest deal of his career to create an innovative design for Davenport's hotel in the heart of Emberton when he received a call from Sila that the vineyard was vandalized. Finn was filled with rage and fury when he saw the damage to the plot of land. Sila call Finn to tell him that Harvey's vineyard was sabotaged.
It was sabotaged with chemical smell, crops wilting. Harvey's vineyard was organic. It was a culmination of all their dreams for sustainable agriculture in Emberton. They're not sure who's the culprit, it could be anyone. The vineyard has been the target of hostility ever since Harvey refused to sell his land to developers. However, Flora surmise that it's her vile stepmother Verona and Alec who's the culprit because they were left out of the will but she needs more prove. Although Flora and Finn has their suspicion about the culprit he needs someone who knows how to navigate the murky backwaters. Someone who can root out the whispers the corporate bastards tried to bury if it's them. It'd be easier to nail the vandalizers. He believes that they need the help of a strong journalist and social media coverage. Emily is the person for the job since she's a celebrity and has a large following on social media platform.
She could give the place the validation it's screaming for. All the men is attracted to Emily. But Emily tells Finn that she has a thing going on with Caeleb. She tells Flora that she thinks that she's falling in love with all of them, and Flora tells her to go for it because nothing is wrong with it. The guys doesn't mind sharing her because they're all falling for her. The four embarked a passion filled romance and burn up the bedroom. The men continued their investigation to see who's causing the sabotage of the vineyard and found out that it was wasn't any developer but instead that it was Verona and Alec. They deal with the problem. While the work on the problem there's a little bump in the road in their romance because Emily will not let go of past hurt and abandonment issues and realize that not all man are like her father. Emily gets pregnant by one of the men and doesn't know who's the father. She doesn't want to lose her men and they all fight for their HEA.

Blurred Lines

Okay, normally, an Ajme Williams book would be like 4 or 5 stars. But this one just wasn't well written at all. Some issues were the flow, it was jumpy and didn't flow smoothly. I thought a few days went by but it was apparently several weeks or longer considering she missed her period by two weeks and started vomiting. It takes 6 weeks from implantation for morning sickness to kick in. Been their plenty with that. So not fun. Also, these people make all these threats and trespass on HER PROPERTY have a key to HER HOME and she doesn't press charges or change the d*mn locks? Then when they gather evidence and the sister is supposedly a detective, they let them walk away after all the felonies they committed? Come on, this is so far from believable and was just not very well thought out. If she was an actual detective and she knew of crimes being committed and didn't report it to her superior, she could lose her badge. I get its a book but it's contemporary romance not fantasy. Make it realistic and believable. So the bad guys get free reign to do whatever they want ruin her career and her family business and they hold them at gun point and just WALK???? WOW.... sorely disappointed with this story. And the character build up was just lacking. It's like instant and then instant everything like not time has passed. Idk this just wasn't her best work. Had their been better flow, and the bad guys actually going to freaking prison for all the felonies they committed, I'd a given it more stars. The plot was actually one I liked too. SMH,

This book was trying to hard to be multiple things. The author writing style was a bit chaotic. There would be moments when it would be fast paced and then moment when it would get very descriptive, and it got descriptive at the wrong moments. The author wrote a book that falls under the erotic category but really wanted to write a romance book. I started reading this book thinking that it was a short erotica story and that is what it should have been. The book had multiple plots when all it really needed was one plot. It tried to be more than it is. If you are writing erotica, write erotica. If erotica is not what you want to really write then don't.

While Emily is a successful plus-size model, you slowly realize that she has some serious unresolved issues from her childhood that have colored the way she lives her life and her relationship with men. When her estranged father dies and leaves her his vineyard, she is conflicted about what she wants to do. On the upside though, the vineyard comes with three hunky men. Finn, Caeleb and Silas are her father’s best friends, who want to help her make the vineyard a success as a legacy to her father. There’s a mixture of nostalgia and sadness as Emily explores the place her father apparently loved more than his family. All three men are captivated by Emily’s allure and strange vulnerability, which soon leads to some steamy encounters that leave Emily in a relationship with not one, but three hot men. But amid sinister hints of sabotage aimed at destroying the vineyard, Emily finds herself pregnant and makes a decision that will devastate the men she has grown to love and left me flabbergasted.

Fighting for Love and Legacy -
The last thing Emily expected to find tied to her inheritance was her late father’s three, gorgeous best friends. Even though Emily felt a pull towards them, the pain she suffered growing up made it difficult for her to open her heart to love. Whilst Emily, Silas, Caeleb and Finn were trying to navigate through their budding romance, they had to deal with people trying to disrupt their happiness. Unfortunately, the chaos nearly tore them apart, but they finally found their way back to each other, once all their problems were resolved.

This was an emotionally challenging BBW story, that captured the complexities of human relationships. The gripping storyline drew me into the lives of the characters and kept me totally engrossed until I had read the final word. I couldn’t get enough of this real page turner and didn’t want it to end. It is a definite must read book.

This was a really good story, full of action, hot steamy bedroom scenes, and a mystery surrounding the vineyard that Emily has inherited from her father. But she’s not alone, There are three very hot men who fall in love with Emily when they meet her. First is Caeleb, whom she meets at the after party of a fashion show that Emily was a part of, they had a hot tryst out in the garden at the location of the event, then when she learns of her father passing on, Emily meets Finn, Caeleb and Silas at the reading of the will. Emily is not alone in her issues with her father, her older sister, Flora is right along with her. Emily is lucky to have her men and her sister to help find out the reason why there is sabotage in the vineyard and the threats she receives, but it all goes well and they have a happily ever after.

Emily is a plus sized model, and she meets Caleb after a show. However, a call from her sister has her returning to her hometown because of her father's death. Her mother is against her going because her father didn't have anything to do with her. Yet when she arrives its a surprise to learn he left her the vineyard he shared with his best friends. This has Emily reconnecting with Caleb and meeting Finn and Silas. Sparks fly between them at first because she wants nothing to do with the vineyard but its not long before things change for them all. Will this turn into something mor for them all?

This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

Page turning plot was more action packed than some. The story of the winery sabotage and drama kept me engaged with enough history of the characters to really dive into the men's personalities and why they respond to clashes in certain ways.

There were times I wanted to strangle Emily LOL At the same time, past experiences with her father influence her reactions and flight-or-flight tendencies, so you understand. I'm glad she got her head together by getting closure over traumas to deal with her abandonment issues.

Lots of steam and emotional connections in the relationship. Finn was by far my favorite :).

I've read a recent mafia series by Ajme Williams, which is amazing, so I was looking forward to this book, unfortunately, this book isn't for me. I usually love reverse harems, but I just feel like more character development was needed, especially with the main female character, she was as flat as a board, personality-wise. Also, are we meant to believe that the woman on the front of the book is a plus-size model? She tiny! This isn't going to stop me from reading the author's books, I've already read two that I love, so hopefully the next one will be a return to form.

Half baked

I loved the storyline but..... the writing was half baked and missing key ingredients. The story kept in the outfield instead of on base. The report between the characters never built to where the story went. One minute Emily's driving them then the next day when she leaves she gets a taxi. She never goes back to get said car. Then all the main characters will be in the room together but there are only 2 people conversing. Then as an afterthought the other 2 characters will say a sentence then we're on to the next scene that never built in the last scene. This would have been an amazing book if all the dots connected.

Emily is a successful plus sized model but she has to go back to her father's property after his death. Three friends of her father are also at the will reading as well as her stepmother and stepbrother. The will is a complete surprise to all of them, but now Emily will need to decide what she is going to do. There is the added complication that she is attracted to all three of her father's friends.

It was interesting to see how characters' pasts affected their current lives.

This book is absolutely wonderful and will definitely have you engrossed from the beginning until the end. Emily and her sister are back for their fathers reading of the will when she meets her fathers 3 best friends, but one she's already met and had one night stand with.,but when her stepbrother and stepmother try to destroy the vineyard can they find away to prove that they're behind it all ? The sex scenes are absolutely hot!!! Loved it.

Disappointed

This book seemed like a mishmash of everything. Two of the main characters are having sex within a minute of talking and then he is obsessed with her. A second man becomes obsessed after kissing her on the cheek. There was just not enough connection background. At one point the men say they have sacrificed for her. I think I missed it. At another point they discuss problems with the family business, which is being ruined, and then they decide to go to the movies.

Specifically about the audiobook and I hope the author reads this! the worst narrator I've ever listened to, absolutely the worst! text to speech does a far better job! it's completely monotone, absolutely no difference between the characters. The pauses are in the wrong places. words run together and simple words are misspoken, the people's names that start the chapters are spelled out. Please listen to your books before publishing and get this one redone! it's a decent book, but the narrator completely ruins it.

The gams begin with betrayal and treachery from the stepmother and stepbrother while Caleb, Finn, and Silas ward off the chaos that comes her way as they fall deeply for her. This is an enjoyable reverse harem/why choose story about what happened when Emily inherited a vineyard from her estranged father. He had left his family when she was small and started a new family that didn't include her.

Why has he years later left her his estate and vineyard? A vineyard someone is sabotaging? But when her dad's three best friends step in to help her things become a lot more interesting. The book is full of drama, chemistry and steamy scenes as well as romance and love.

First of all, this book is loaded with spiciness and great chemistry. Each character brought so much to this story and it made it great. I don't recommend it for under 18 years old. There are so many twists, and unexpected things that happen that I don't know where to start. So I'll just say, I loved this book! Emily, Finn, Silas and Caeleb were perfect for each other. Truly a wonderful book.

As the current last in this series I was a bit disappointed with this book. So many things just didn’t add up. Old guys didn’t seem old enough. Why were sisters still speaking? Why have money for one child to sort business out and not spend it yourself to pass on business?? Was Alec a half brother but seemed same age??? It was still an easy read and hot passages but I would have liked the story to make more sense.

This is a well written reverse harem romance between a model and her father's three best friends. The author takes you into their lives with friendship, secrets, twists, steam and love. She moves the story fluidly and delivers a terrific read.

Great read. Nice reverse harem. I love it when it older guys. There was great world building. Storyline was really good. The only thing for me was I was sold a story of a plus size model and the cover show a very skinny model.
