The Openness of God: A Philosophical Argument

Rate this book
This is Martin Heidegger's suggested philosophical model, and has the potential to bring peace to a fractured Christian theological world. Turns out Spurgeon was close, the freewill of man and the sovereignty of God are not friends, but rather the two hands of one God.
The concept of being is a philosophical journey that began with the Greek philosophers Parmenides and Plato. These philosophers, some three hundred years before the birth of Christ, came to a decisive conclusion that nothing could not exist.
Whether intentional or otherwise this position was incorporated into Christian theology from the early church onward. A position that was not challenged philosophically in an effective manner until the mid-twentieth century with the appearance of Martin Heidegger.
This presents a unique opportunity for a philosophical replacement model. This is an opportunity Open Theism has yet to take, and thereby, in the opinion of the author does as much harm as good.
