Although he sometimes is given crap from his friends, the guy still feels the need to make the girl smile.Lewis comes to the realization that making being Whipped isn’t quite the curse men are led to believe…. “Lewis, it’s Jerry. Look man sorry to do this to you, but it looks like you're on your own for dinner tonight. Couple of the guys are pussying out; I think their wives heard about last night’s business meeting at the club. They’ve been put on a short leash.” I interrupt Jerry mid sentence, relieved beyond belief. I really don’t want to hear a detailed whine about the unfairness of it all. I just want to be done with this phone call. “No worries, man, I'll just order room service and call it a night. I'll try to get into the office early so I can start finalizing the install. Hey, who knows? Maybe I can have you guys up and running by the end of the day.” “Dude, that would be awesome! Then we can spend your last three days on the links! Oh, and DUDE, a new top-shelf gentleman's club opened up down by the river. The girls are supposed to be AMAZING!” I pinch the bridge of my nose and close my eyes. “Yeah, Jerry that sounds good. But if it is all the same to you, I just want to get your system up and running. We can talk about the golf and dinner arrangements later.” So not going to happen. “Okay, man, see you in the office tomorrow, and sorry about the other guys being pussies. Man some guys are just whipped. Anyway, later, man.” I sigh and turn my phone off. “No more fucking phone calls tonight,” I growl and toss the phone onto the desk next to the open netbook. Allie smiles at me “Welcome back, Daddy.” I feel the wave a calmness wash over me. “Hi, baby.”
