Gregory Owen’s debut novel is a dark, violent crime thriller. Three men are on a collision course in the small town of Stonefall, North Carolina, a sleepy Southern community built on decaying history, deceit, and corruption under a veneer of quaint and idyllic hospitality.
One seeks security for the future of his family before his time runs out.
One seeks answers for a strange murder that puts him in a desperate hunt for justice.
One seeks death, the ultimate purpose for all in his path.
When their paths intertwine, the consequences for them and others could prove deadly.
A high school English teacher by profession, Gregory Owen is certainly familiar with the horrors of the world and turns his views and experiences into tales of the macabre featuring plenty of layered characters, horrific creatures, grotesque transformations, and plenty of blood-letting. Featured in magazines such as Sanitarium and Schlock!, he loves to horrify.
His first novel, a crime-thriller entitled Purpose, was released on May 31, 2024. When not reading and writing disturbing little stories, he is with his wife and cats, Winnie and Finnegan, working on his YouTube channel, playing video games, or drawing portraits of famous people and characters.
