Jasmine's quest for her Prince Charming takes an unexpected turn when she finds herself on a luxurious cruise ship steeped in secrets. Navigating a tangled maze of destiny, intrigue, and desire, she discovers that the key to unlocking her future may lie in the very cards she's been dealt.
I was excited to get a little more insight into Jasmine. I always knew there was more to her. I'm glad she is not the plant or villain i thought she would be. Although I feel and hope, we have only scraped the surface as this story was a little blah, to say the least.
Ed and Jasmine feel temporary. It felt like just a hookup, but she actually looked forward to seeing him again, and his jealousy or obsessive tendencies towards her raised a brow for many reasons because it's uncharacteristically of an immortal.
Max Not wanting anything to do with her, and trying to avoid a repeat of what happened between his friend and that other woman would make a far likely more interesting enemies to lovers story. I don't think we've had an enemies to lovers storyline, have we. However, a Krael/God prince trumps Max... so, 😆 lol!
Kian was overreaching to the point of hypocrisy at this point me. Me as Aru would have been like, "aiight, im out then!" He has asked so little of the clan and Kian with his "clan mentality" keeps violating that mans trust.
Let's not forget that the clan actively seeks out and hunts these people out of hiding, and then demands that they conform to the clans, whims, so that they can be allowed into the village that they never asked to be in in the first place.
Peter & Marina- yes!!! Their story is so bitter sweet but I hope that they focus on the now and not what's to come. This is an opportunity for Kian to show some compassion. I hope he doesn't try to deter Peter since he's actually lived that..
And what is with all the Wiccan, talk?
❤️ - Annani. To be surrounded by so many, and still be so alone.

Advanced Reader Copy review: Spoilers! So much happens in this book - It's Yamanu and Mey's as well as Onegus and Cassandra's turn to have their wedding on the cruise, and honestly I don't know how I.T. keeps the vows and Annani's ceremony fresh and new. Peter and Marina continue their affair and confess their love, but doubts seem to creep in.But our pressing question is is she a dormant and is Peter, the helicopter pilot, her true love mate? Jasmine, the enigmatic newcomer to the cruise truly bursts onto the scene. She brings a new flavor of paranormal abilities as well as a vivacious personality and smokin' hot looks. Peter is enamored, but will he capture her heart? It's possible that Jasmine's talent with tarot cards is leading her in a very different direction. The storyline gets deeper with Annani learning more from her grandmother Queen Ani on the planet Anumati about it's history and politics. But Annani asks a question I never saw coming: and it's so juicy I just will not spoil it for you :) (Hint - Annani love for her long lost mate Khiann is exceptional) Syssi steps up to use her powers of vision and instead of receiving information about what she asks, she gets a really unexpected surprise; namely that enigmatic Jasmine may be integral to finding her half brother and sister, the long lost Kra-ell twins that the gods Aru, Negal and Dagor are set to search for in Tibet. And.... there's just so much more. This storyline is so intricate and well-written I literally yelp when I get a notification that it's ready to read.
Jasmine’s Tarot Cards are showing her a prince in her future, but just like the cards leave the future up for interpretation-debate, Dark Witch Entangled Fates leaves us wondering where I.T. Lucas is going with this story line. We feel like some resolution is forthcoming, but then the path to that destination is a bit foggy. I like that kind of mystery. Keeps things interesting and less predictable.
I didn’t feel the chemistry between Edgar and Jasmine was off the charts like the normal fated couple has, so I’ll trust the process and keep an eye out for whether Jasmine will end up with this princely guy, or if she’s destined for real royalty in books to come. Either way, I’m looking forward to what I’ll find once the fog clears, in excited anticipation.
I give this book all the stars!
I received an ARC of this book and am willingly and delightfully giving my honest review.
Margo and Frankie storyline pissed me off. They are newcomers and are acting like they are better than everyone else. I’m not liking a few comments. I enjoyed the storyline from the beginning of the series that’s what kept me entertained not liking these three. It started from Mia then Aru mate, now this. I expected more it’s like you are forgetting the original. I will keep on reading but we will see. I recommend all the other books. I missed the doomers what the heck is happening there, are they still stuck into a hotel. I thought we could get a few more rescue like Dalhu, who is one of my favorite. You went left field with these idiots who think they are better than everyone else. Kalugul think that, but at least he is entertaining and funny, these three no thanks. I did like Aru storyline. I don’t know just frustrated I guess.
My little nerdy, shipping heart was glad to see that Khiann has been brought up in this book and the possibility that he is in stasis somewhere in the desert, like Wonder was.
(Yay! I can't wait for him to come back! Annani deserves it.)
I kind of like the direction things are going with Jasmine. I hope she doesn't break Edgar's heart...and I can't wait to see what comes of Syssi's vision in light of Jasmine's divinations!
I can't believe I am 83 books in-- about to be 84. I can barely remember the details of earlier books...but I am really excited to see where this series goes, especially with the introduction of the Annumatians and the possible danger that looms over Annani and the Clan.
Jasmine’s story begins as the cruise comes to a close
This book dives into Jasmine being able to interact with the upper deck and being evaluated as a potential dormant. Max holding contempt for her when asked to guard her however having another step up and be a companion of sorts who has rocked her world but fights his jealousy for outward behavior that is preprogrammed into her to flirt and want attention. Peter and Marian still are continuing their relationship, with Jay entertaining another human staff member. Possibly finding out where the exiled twins pods are …
Not my absolute favorite book overall because I’m not a huge fan of Edgar and I wish there was more coverage of the wedding but I absolutely LOVED Amanda’s explanation of gods/immortals/dormants and the history in here! There are so many books in this series that I’ve been binge reading them and leaving a star rating but not reviewing them because I have a hard time pulling myself out of the story long enough to do so but I have not rated a single book less than 4 stars and I’ve even given at least one 5 star rating because these are so well written!
Dark Witch: Entangled Fates, Book 83 of the Children of the Gods series by Isabell Lucas @itlucas_author - You must read this series in order from book 1!
This is the first book about Jasmin. I loved this book about Jasmine! Maybe Edgar, a helicopter pilot for the Clan is Jasmine’s mate. Maybe the Kra-ell Prince is? (not likely, but, maybe?) Now to wait for book 2 of the trilogy! If you like PNR, have read the prior books, MF, & adventures, then this book is for you!
Jasmine has gotten her story. It’s good and comes as the cruise is coming to an end. Has she found that which she is searching for? She has definitely been allowed out of the staff lounge and added to the other guests enjoying the cruise. Looking forward to the next installment of these Paranormal Romance books. Best read in series since they all build upon one another.
Jasmine has been stuck down in crew quarters since her rescue from the real possibility of being a victim of human trafficking. Her rescuers are supernatural beings who she thinks are normal human beings . She gets a chance to not only see the more luxurious side of the cruise ship but finds romance and the real possibility of using her psychic talents and being offered the gift of immortality.
As usual, Isabel Lucas does not disappoint. Her writing is immaculate and so easy to read. I could not wait to see what became of the rescue of Margo and Jasmine and this was exactly what I wished for. The books have continued to grow the world of the clan and now opening their world to new Gods and species is just fascinating. Tibet, here we come!!!!
You would think after 83 books in the same series you would get bored. There is no chance at that while reading the Children of the God series. Each book is exceptionally written. The ever increasing characters help keep the story moving forward, and always keep you guessing. The cliff hangers at the end of each story keep you wanting more.
I. T. Lucas is an incredible story teller. This is a must read for all!
I loved all of the Children of the Gods books until Margo's story just didn't like her character i cared even less for Jasmines character but I was hoping that Jasmine's stories would get better but nope there is just something about her I don't like I know she has to be in the next book because she with them when the pods are found but here is to she's not in the book after that heck I'm hoping she's not a dormant
Just finished reading and listening to Dark Witch book 83. I have followed you since the beginning and I can say that each book and characters are fascinating and storyline keeps me anxious for the next book, once I start reading I can’t put it down. Thank you for the adventures and characters that are fascinating. Can’t wait for audio and book 84 ! Love it ❤️❤️❤️

Well we met Jasmine wen she got rescued with Margo by The Clan. There was an instant spark between Jas & Edgar the helicopter pilot.
Jas has an infinity with everyone that's been in contact with her from The Clan, could Has be a dormant, Edgar certainly seems to like the idea & seems to like him or is it the Fates working their magic or mischief again , we'll have to wait and see me thinks lol
Jasmine was in the last couple of books but we really didn't get to know her better until this one. We start to learn more about her and what is motivating her. We are introduced to her potential mate and there is chemistry between the two, but the two are not quite there yet. I need to see how this relationship plays out in the next book.
Jasmine and Edgar start their adventure, another well written, very enjoyable installment. I am glad the cruise is coming to an end, though I have really enjoyed it I am looking forward to getting back to the village. Loving the interactions with Ananni and Ani and can't wait to see how that develops. Absolutely brilliant (again!!)
I have so much fun reading about these characters in these books in this series. At this point they're like an extended family. Each and every book takes me down the rabbit hole of another adventure. I love where it's going with the princess talking to her grandmother on another planet. I can't wait to see where the story goes there.
Jasmine is a interesting character. She seems to be looking for a purpose and got an unexpected one. I enjoy this series, but have an issue with Amanda's explanation for creation. I know this is paranormal and not based on facts. The story has a nice flow and I enjoyed the update on past characters.
Lots of interesting things revealed in this book. Not your typical “dormant falls in love with an immortal” story. Jasmine is quite an interesting character. I’ve had mixed feelings about since she was introduced to the series2 books ago. things are changing quickly. Look forward to the upcoming books.
Awesome new addition to these series. Jasmine seems a lot more comfortable around immortals than any other dormant. She is taking the news of possible immortality pretty well. Also her unique powers might be useful in search of royal twins. Ed, the pilot is on board for an adventure in Tibet mountains. Will she be able to deliver?
1 of the best Of the later Numbered series In this entire series
I enjoyed every book so far in the entire dark series. However this particular one is engaging. The new character of jasmine is getting to be very good and exciting like an action adventure. I hope this never ends -- what a wild ride!
A great storyline that just keeps going! As the cast of characters continues to grow, I am looking forward to the next book in this unforgettable series. I am a dedicated reader of this author and I recommend this series to anyone craving a little fantasy romance in their lives!
Read all the series , Jasmine is an interesting character but disappointed that Max didn’t take to her due to past experience , looking forward to next one she has been much more exciting than the previous three dormants
Dark Witch: Entangled Fates (Children Of The Gods Book 83) by I T Lucas. As the ship nears the end of the voyage there are signs that Jasmine might not only be a dormant but she could be vital for Aru’s search for pods.
This author can't possibly write fast enough for me. I'm always ready for the next. I was spoiled because so many had already been written that I was able to binge one after the other. Oh me of little patience now that I have to wait.
83 books in this series and each and every one gets better than those before it. Every new character is a full being, no old characters are truly forgotten. This Gods playpen universe is amazing. I can hardly wait for the next one to be released.
The story was a little slow & somewhat tedious, but I understand it’s a set up for what comes next. The information seems inconsequential, but it’s all important to know to understand where the story is going. So, not my fave, but truly important stuff.
