Fran and teacher go to hunt monsters to obtain meat for the cooking competition. While there they meet a young woman and her minder, who aren't what they seem (and in a rare occurence, who are higher level than Fran) as well as an A-class hero. It's been a while since we have seen the story lean into game mechanics so this was fun. I also like that for once we saw an enemy which couldn't be dispatched by Fran et al in only a few pages
