Cash Confident empowers modern women to conquer money management with clarity and confidence.
In Cash Confident, personal finance expert Brie Sodano taps into the unique challenges women face, both emotionally and logistically, in managing household finances. With today’s women juggling work, home, and a myriad of responsibilities, this guide goes beyond traditional financial advice. Instead of generic solutions like budgets or apps, Brie introduces a holistic approach that addresses underlying habits, emotions, and mindsets that often derail financial plans.
She equips women with strategies to reduce the mental load of money management, break free from the cycle of debt, and foster a healthier relationship with money. Grounded in human behavior and psychology, Cash Confident is a groundbreaking resource for any woman looking to master her money.
Still trying to find a personal finance book that includes one income families without religion. The only stay at home parent family includes in this one is a family who once they get their spending under control suddenly have enough money for daycare so the dad goes to work.
Also almost all the married family examples in this show the woman doing all the mental load and house management and no amount of time and money savings is going to fully address the inequities within their homes.
Also also, this was really short (barely over 150 pages) and shared the same family story multiple times. Like I had to go back and reread because I was like wait, this is the exact numbers given on the previous chapter and family. Nope, same family, just a repeated paragraph of information we’d already been given.
Also also also, this was really short of specifics, and the system presented didn’t include more than a few regular expense categories. Like lumping all household bills under one category is ridiculous. If you’re going to use software, actually use it. IMO, the only way to fully be in charge of your finances is to be able to actually follow your money and lumping auto expenses with all of your insurance premiums and cell phone and mortgage/rent doesn’t really give you a clear picture of where your money goes.
I have read many books on finance and spent over a decade in the financial industry putting together plans. This is one of the best systems I’ve seen. The author lays it out in a simple and easy to follow way. She uses some humor and keeps you engaged throughout. It is a common sense approach to money and if implemented would place anyone on the right track financially. Definitely a must read.
