A cursory treatment of James 1:1-8, but it accomplishes its intended purpose. A small book on everyone's level. Probably best used like a tract to give to those who are suffering.

This slim volume contains many practical, biblical ways to find joy through a difficult journey. Chappell uses his own bout with cancer to support the way he was able to find joy--especially in an unexpected difficulty.
I anticipate using Try Me: Unexpected Joys in Unexpected Difficulties to encourage myself as I live through my own chronic health issues. This book will be a great place to look for information to encourage others as they encounter difficulties--physical, spiritual, or emotional.
This book is quick to read, but it contains information that I will go back to again and again.
