This is one of those classics that can be read again and again, and I have done so. Published in 1966, it is a study of women who break the glass ceiling and what characteristics they have in common. Much has changed since this book was written, but if you are looking for a bit of history about the rise of women in business, this is a great place to begin.

Great academic study that investigates the success of women in the corporate environment in the 1970s. Discusses the basis of their success as well as challenges and other nuances to it.
