Liam knew he needed to leave the nest if he wanted to avoid sinking with the rest of his ruin-bound family, but he never thought all his humble efforts would lead to...founding his own country at the behest of the first princess?! Befuddling as this all is, with a plethora of unique monster races and ever-reliable familiars by his side, Liam awkwardly, but earnestly, carves his path to becoming the king of the promised land. And although their peaceful little country-building endeavor might run into some unforeseen obstacles, Liam’s passion for magic never betrays him—because while the challenges he’s facing grow in scale, so does his skill and expertise in anything and everything magic!
I'm a Noble on the Brink of Ruin, So I Might as Well Try Mastering Magic: Volume 2 offers an entertaining experience for those who appreciate character-driven storytelling. With its engaging humor and relatable protagonist, it deserves a solid 3 out of 5 stars for its charm, despite not being universally appealing. If you enjoyed the first volume and are willing to embrace a slower pace for deeper character exploration, this continuation will surely delight you.
I am absolutely obsessed and in love with this series. It just gets better and better. Love the world building and Liam's growth. I cannot wait to see what happens next. Recommend.
I really enjoy the creativity of Liam. The way he uses his head to use magic productive. The fact that his nation will become a magic city to be envy. The no the three nations will have a hard time fighting for the land as Liam has gotten stronger.
