6/10.
The incipit is not really original, but it has some nice twists to it. That and the fact that it tries to build on suspence rather than body horror/gore made it a gust of fresh air in the j-horror manga landscape.
That said, as somebody who studied anthropology, it was skewed too much on mindless killing that was mixed with sparse, overly simplified social commentary.
Great art, I loved the BD influence on the work.
