I absolutely loved this book. It’s a quick read, but it packs an incredible emotional punch. Without a doubt, it’s five stars from me.

This book is for anyone facing a separation—man or woman, straight or LGBTQ+. What struck me most is how practical it is. Deidra structures the book intentionally: she introduces each concept, explains it, and then opens up with her own personal story. You feel like you’re walking alongside her—she’s been in those valleys, and she shows you how she emerged into her peaks.

What I valued most is the honesty about the process. Deidra acknowledges that healing isn’t linear. There are valleys and peaks, and this book reminds you that the valleys aren’t permanent. If you’re feeling stuck or overwhelmed, this book gives you both structure and hope—reminding you that a peak is on the horizon, and you can indeed begin again.
