Follow John Deverall, living a meagre life as a prison officer but plagued by a harrowing nightly dream, a dream he cannot escape. Follow him as he deals with the dregs of that imprisoned society and learns that he can have a say, in how real justice can be delivered to the worst of them. This book was written in a style to be delivered fast, to be hard hitting, to engage the reader to the sorrow and joys felt by all of the characters. It carries the reader in suspense all the way to the end. You will remember reading this book!

This was a page turner-kept me riveted as to what would happen next-also very current in its theme and relevant to what's going on in society at this time. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in crime and the way the current system "handles" criminals and offenders. The characters leapt out at me form the pages and were very easy to identify with on an intellectual AND emotional level.
