I've lived in Beaumont Peak my whole life. It's the place I call home, along with the Beaumont Peak Resort. I’ve been satisfied with my life, not feeling the need to change things. But then I see her.
Gemma is beautiful and curvy in all the right places, and when I see a guest screaming at her, I lose it. Things between us should end after I throw the guest out of the resort, but I can't get her out of my head. There's an attraction between us that neither of us can deny.
But dating an employee would be complicated and completely unprofessional. That should be enough to stop me from pursuing her. It should be, but it's not. I want her. I need her. And I'm pretty damn sure wants me too.
This is an insta-love, curvy girl, workplace romance. It's short and spicy with a guarenteed HEA!
Are these the best books ever written. No. The plots are fairly ok, the characters are likeable enough. Are there parts that are just a bit outlandish and unbelievable, yes. These are short story’s, there isn’t going to be lots of build up and investment. But they’re decent filler books, if you want to read but you’re in the ‘in-between’ stage and their fairly harmless.
Series not for me. Couldn’t even get half way through this book. The pushy sexual context gave me “eww” vibes. This is 2025 and the me-man, you-woman context triggered my red flags. If I met a person like this in real life, well, he’d be needing a lawyer.
Short, sweet & steamy. They meet, they become a couple and they live happily ever after. There is a brief struggle but they figure it out quickly. This is a great palate cleanser between longer books.
