Frank Kurtz loaned me this book. There were a variety of essays but the one that stands out the most was the one on the navy department and Bullock who is a character in North and South. There was another on the ineptness of the Confederate ambassadors, Mason and Slidel. This book was good general knowledge but not much for any details I ned for DHD.
