1 "The Substitute Bride" Hosting a glitzy wedding is nerve-racking enough, but when glamorous Megan Quinn cons her twin sister Kellie into carrying out an awkward plan, it's anyone's guess who will end up in the groom's arms on his wedding night.
2 "The Best Man's Secret" Jeff Tanner's back in town for his cousin's wedding to his childhood friend, Megan Quinn. But things just don't seem right, and Jeff wants to get to the bottom of it. The only problem is--the wedding ceremony has already started!
3 "The Wedding Planner's Apprentice" Babysitting a wedding cake should be a simple task for Emma Moore, skilled apprentice at Ana's Fantasy Weddings, to complete and get on to her special date. But nothing at this wedding goes as planned and the assignment--and Emma--abruptly spiral out of control.
I was so disappointed in this book! I had read The Doctor’s Dilemma by the same author and loved it so I thought I would try this one too. This is not a clean read. At all. Plus, the storyline was really awful. Warning ⚠️: spoilers ahead. If you don’t want to know what happens, stop ✋ 🛑 reading now.
*****Spoiler alert: she stands in for her twin sister at her wedding, marries her ex boyfriend (her sister’s fiancé), and sleeps with him before the ceremony is even over. All’s well that ends well because they never really got over each other and everything is hunky-dory forgiven without batting an eyelid. Yikes!
I returned the book immediately and got a refund. Absolutely not recommended.
A fun quick trilogy of tales told around one wedding where there's one bride too many and a wedding planner with problems of her own. I loved the tangle of brides, the twist to the end of the first story, and the very neat way the author tied up all three stories. Wonderful!
