Literally the best prose you’re gonna read all year. In the tradition of greats like Larry Brown, Barry Hannah, Mary Miller. But its own beast. Best book I’ve read all year.

Reading about my home-place is my favorite pastime. Hell yeah. Bukowskis of Mississippi rise up. Hell yeah. I haven’t flew through anything so quick. It is everything I love about Mississippi and about literature and about life. Whoohoo.
