I appreciate the way the drama unfolds in the story; however, I find that some situations feel a bit predictable. At the beginning of the book, the author's approach seems somewhat forced, which can be off-putting. As the Romeo and Juliet-style drama develops, I hoped for a bit more intensity and unexpected twists. It would have been interesting to see more significant losses and pivotal moments in the plot.
While I understand the appeal of the Romeo and Juliet theme, I felt that their passion became somewhat repetitive over time. Additionally, the introduction of new characters could have been explored more deeply to enhance the overall experience. The dynamic between Luca and Hayley appears to be quite intense, which adds an interesting layer. Overall, I had high hopes, and I believe there’s room for more complexity in the storyline.
