Damn. Men all drama fick mig på hell spänn.

Let’s take a realistic approach to this novel. Hayley is portrayed as an independent woman in the mafia, but some of her decisions come off as somewhat questionable. I appreciate the author’s attempts to showcase her strengths and weaknesses, yet I feel certain actions could have been more believable.
While she strives for independence, it's noticeable that she frequently returns to Luca for comfort and support, which can be a bit contradictory. The plot itself feels somewhat lacking, with an abundance of actions and drama that sometimes seem unnecessary. I was hoping for a more mature narrative, and I found myself frustrated with her choices at times.
Additionally, I think many other characters had potential for deeper exploration, but they mostly seem to exist only to support the main ones, which is a missed opportunity. It took me nearly three months to get through the book, as I found some parts quite repetitive and felt a bit disconnected.
In the end, there was a lot of information thrown in, but it didn't quite hit the mark for me; I believe it could have been better developed. I also found myself wishing for a bit more intensity, cruelty, and rawness, especially given the mafia setting in the streets of New York and Russia. The vastness of Russia seemed underexplored, particularly regarding her origins, which I found a bit disappointing.
