Nellie lives life by going through the motions just enough to get through to the next day. As her 21st birthday is quickly approaching, all her bestie Jessi wants is to make sure Nellie celebrates herself and has fun for a change. When Nellie’s crush, Marcello “Cello” finally steps to her, she’s overcome with feeling insecure. Nellie wasn’t prepared for the type of energy and attention Cello was bringing, nor the drama that came with him.
The epitome of hood rich, Cello lives life in the fast lane. With females coming from every angle and his main lady on the frontline he finds himself in the midst of one drama-filled situation to another. Settling down with another female was never in the cards yet one encounter has the ability to change all of that.

That doggone Cello is for everybody! I know Nelli is regretting losing her virginity to Cello now that Hurricane Delany has touched down. I can't stand a bitter person. Delany is definitely going to lose her job now. I can't wait for part 2!

All I can say is it’s about to go down. I enjoyed the flow of this book. He just couldn’t keep it in his pants for real. Nelli should have saved herself for someone he to toxic. I’m ready for all that coming but Nelli had them hands I don’t know about her bestie though.

To be brutally honest. Cello had too much drama going on and he shouldn't have stepped to Nelli until he let completely go of his situationship with Jonay crazy ass. Nelli has enough going on in her life. She young but haven't really had a chance to live and enjoy life because she's taking care of her sick father. Cello is a walking and toxic red flag. Jonay isn't the only issues he got to deal with. Delany is messy as hell too. Cello shouldn't have never doubled back and slept with her again. I know Jessi is Nelli best friend but Jessi be crossing boundaries talking crazy to people. Her mouth is reckless asf and she need to learn how to mind her business. I don't see no good coming from her always talking crazy to Cello knowing he will disrespect her whole life. Jessi need to be worried about what Dion is doing. Colby has females tendencies. He stooped low trying to piss Cello off and by throwing Nelli under the bus with a lie all because Cello punked him. It has Cello looking at Nelli like she's a lying hoe.

February 4, 2025I couldn't settle on a rating for this story because I didn't mind the writing but I didn't like the characters at all. The MMC was clearly a dog and I really hate to be this person...but the FMC got exactly what she asked for. If you know that this man is already in a situation with someone else...why insert yourself into the middle of that? Straight out of the gate he brought drama to her front door...LITERALLY and she just accepted it.
The only person with an ounce of sense in this story was the FMC's best friend, Jessie. And the MMC obviously hated Jessie because she had common sense. Everything the MMC did "for" the FMC wasn't for her at all. It was all for a purpose. He saw, he wanted, he conquered. And continued to play in her face because she let him.
This story ended on a cliffhanger but I am not subjecting myself to the headache that is these characters. If you like your characters to put themselves in obvious drama and mess you will likely enjoy this story.

Just When You Start To Get Happy!
Loryn, lord have mercy. I felt so bad for Nelli, all she needed was some peace. To see such a young lady with so much on her had me thinking of how many children don't get to live their life without too much trouble.
My heart just goes out to Nelli, but she has the strength of a much older woman. Now, Cello really got me looking at him sideways. He is a good guy with the different perspective on how a person should do. Now, A situation has occurred and Cello did the unthinkable thing. I really hope it works out. Nelli has to love herself more than others. I really hope it changes for Nelli.🤗🤗🤗🤗

This was my first book by this author but definitely not my last. I really enjoyed this book from the beginning. Cello was getting on my nerves a little bit. Jess needs to learn to mind her business..I think she’s jealous. I was not expecting that ending. I can’t wait to read part 2…

This book is full of foolery and just crazy mess. Main character is strapped with taking care of her disabled dad which doesn’t allow for her to have the life of a normal young adult. The neighborhood goon is a site for eyes and she finds out he’s been crushing on her just as she has him. Their story is a hurricane and the ending just slapped me.
