The summary above doesn't really explain what this book is about. In this one we follow Junwoo who has been raised by a group of swindlers. He grows an interest in acting while he's growing up and hones his skills while working jobs with his family. Eventually his life of crime catches up with him and he is given a chance to relive part of his life and he uses the opportunity to take another road - one that leads him towards his passion of acting.

At first, I thought there might be a bit more fantasy woven into this story, but with this first volume, there really is only the time travel element. This a very slice of life story following a character enjoying something they weren't able to in their previous life. Eventually this opens up opportunities for him that he doesn't really go after, but they start to fall into his path.

When I read stories, I need for the main character to make me want to root for them and unfortunately, Junwoo is not that character for me. It was interesting to see what happened along his journey, but Junwoo himself was not a very likeable character. He is pretty full of himself and while that helps him in his interactions, it didn't help me to warm up to him.

I will say though that the events in the final section of this installment were very interesting and I feel like the pace of this story really picked up for me towards the end. I was very interested in what was happening and of course, it ends in a cliffhanger in the middle of a very interesting situation.

If you are a fan of Korean Dramas like me, I think you will find this very easy to get into. There are definitely elements of dramas I've seen before within this story. Because of where this one ends, I will be continuing to the next one as I am very interested to see what happens in the conclusion of that situation.

Thank you to the publisher for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. This in no way has had any impact on my thoughts shared above.

I was amazed when I read this book. Coming into it you would think a thousand faces is about something like...I don't know how to describe it but 'faces'. It is quite something else. I was hooked into the story moreover and the writing was nice . It starts off showing the past and then moving on rather quickly which can sometimes seem like it's fast but understandable from the backtracking.

In terms of Style , the flow of the story always kept me on track. I found myself ready and willing to read the next chapter. The Characters were so good. They were designed well and sometimes hit me in my feelings. I was drawn to them especially in the beginning with the main two and the Main character's Father figure(s). Later on I believe they carried things and the feelings I got from them was able to reach me. The story, like I said is something else. It goes from using the experience you gained from one experience to learning something and being like what one would call 'gifted' but it is experience that makes sense in the situation the character goes through.

Overall, I believe that this is worth your attention. Thank you for the opportunity to read this Novel.

I was granted an opportunity to receive an Advance RC of this book, but this review is my honest and unbiased opinion. The story starts off right in the action to build intrigue, but then circles back to show the reader how we reached that point. The story is fast-paced and things unfold rather quickly, but not in a way that makes it hard to follow. There were minimal moments where I had to backtrack to understand the situation, but not enough to be overly disruptive. The plot remained very cohesive and strong.

I found Junwoo to be a very interesting protagonist and I liked that he retained his personality consistently as the story progressed, despite certain events. His relationship with his family was also touching and felt very realistic for the situation. I remained invested in him and the plot overall as I got further along. It was easy to get drawn in and I'd read multiple chapters before I even realized it.

Overall, this is a very great read and I would easily recommend it!

I received a complimentary copy of this novel, and I am voluntarily leaving an uninfluenced review.

From the very first chapter I was intrigued. I had questions. I immediately wanted to know more about the characters.
There is a fantasy element (Time traveling) that I'd like to get the explanation to, however, I am satisfied with this first volume.
It follows the journey of Junwoo through the second chance at life he was granted, and I loved reading about him cutting ties with his old life that was full of crime in order to make the most and best out of the opportunity he's gotten.

Now, I can't say that Junwoo is my favorite character ever, but I still find him likeable, and I still want to read the rest of his story, nonetheless.
I mainly enjoyed the scenes he has with his two father figures, the little moments he shared with them were quite nice.

It was a pretty chill read overall; I had good fun reading the chapters at the end of long days. I am grateful to the publisher for providing me with a copy.

It has taken me a while to read this because of school but here is my review:

Based on the description I didn't really know what to think or how to feel reading this story. After giving it a try I've noticed some really promising signs. The story is really captivating! I love how descriptive you are of the intricacies within the industry as well. The way you write has me stuck between excitement and anticipation. I kept coming back for more after each chapter! Over all i love the way this story is written. Imagine the feeling you get whenever you watch your favorite show. Thats how this feels. For me, the feeling i get when i watch one piece is how it felt reading this story. I cannot wait to reccomend this to my friends!!

First of all, the book cover deserves some appreciation.
Moving on, the main character is a likeable person that delivers straightforward emotions. His character simply potrays the story in a light that unveils and explores what it's like to become a celebrity in the well-known bounds of Korea.
However, I do believe that this story has high potentials and the character development will enhance over time. In one sentence, this is a highly recommended book for those willing to explore intriguing stories based in an Asian setting.

From the beginning of the book, my attention was immediately captured.

The MC life as a con artist even from a young age, his personality and his love for acting was really interesting to see. It is hard to come across books that are able to capture your attention from the get-go.

It reminded of the time I read ORV (Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint) for the first time. The only thing I can describe this novel is nothing but spectacular. Everything about it was unique.

First of all, I am not the big fan of Korean Dramas.
But as the story progress it keeps you engaged and the story progresses.
The story is basically about a character Junwoo who was found out by a famous thief and how he found his love for the movies it's just the prologue though but if I tell you the whole story here then why are going to read it. So go on and give it try. I know that for sure, you will love it.
