This author says "the areas we are most dissatisfied in our walk with God can be summarized by not enough intimacy with God and not enough spiritual power in my life." This book is less of a novel and more of a handbook, which albeit short takes a while to read through if you chew on the content and consider the reflection questions thoroughly. It is concise yet comprehensive, and the notes I have gleaned from it will be a resource I think I will return to often. 👌 It is cheap and definitely worth the read!
Great for its intention. Walks through an easy to understand explanation of who the Holy Spirit is, what He does, and how to receive Him. Very straightforward.
Since I read this I'm not even sure I agree with it's theology of Spirit baptism, and even at the time it seemed just a little odd to me, but I'm sure it has helped some people experience the Holy Spirit.
It's a good read if you're new to The Holy Spirit. But for me, it was just too simple. I go to a church that teaches on The Spirit, so I already knew a lot of what this book had to offer.
