“Where’s that thing I just had in my hand?” Cameran Aiesi writes in her introduction - a question I ask myself a million times a day. I wish this book had been available when I was diagnosed a year ago! In the past year I’ve voraciously consumed videos and message boards on ADHD, so my knowledge is a bit fractured. This book puts everything together in an organized fashion. Techniques to organize your home AND your life are all in one place.

Her explanation of how the ADHD brain works is detailed yet easily understood. Reframing ADHD deficits as strengths is empowering and gives me a new perspective to approach daily life.

Some of the suggested tools and techniques for organizing our lives I already use such as lists, timers, time management apps and breaking down tasks into micro steps. These tools are invaluable to anyone - with or without ADHD - needing help getting organized.

Organizing my home is where I fall short. The specific 30 minute organizing tasks is the most helpful guidance in the book for me. I need direction on how to get started and this book delivers, step by step. I know I’ll be referring often to “Organizing With ADHD Made Simple” as I continue decluttering my home.

Organizing with ADHD Made Simple takes you on a relatable journey, thoughtfully crafting a road-map to completing tasks which neurodivergent minds so often struggle with.

I'm grateful for Cameran and her willingness to provide growth-mindset focused solutions and creative ways to apply those tips to every day life. The road-map she lays out in her book is engaging and practical and is excellent advice for anyone who gets stuck a little too often.

The simplicity of the language she uses, her empathy, support, and interactive elements of the book brought me back to her pages each day. Amazingly, I was able to pro-actively engage with her content and complete tasks that I have struggled with for years.

Cameran covers a wide range of organizational challenges, leading you room-by-room, to create systems that work for your brain.

She is encouraging and realistic, and I highly recommend her book to anyone struggling with Organization who wants to tweak their own habits and succeed.

Overall, I would absolutely recommend Organizing with ADHD Made Simple to others who are looking for perspective to actively apply in their own organization journeys.

In her meticulous guide on organizing with ADHD Cameran Aiesi offers a wealth of valuable insights and strategies. The book delves deep into the intricacies of organizing, providing a comprehensive roadmap for individuals seeking to enhance their productivity and efficiency.

The author's approach is both motivating and detailed, making it easy to grasp the concepts presented. However, it's worth noting that this book may be best suited for those who are already on their path towards managing organizational skills with ADHD and are looking to refine their strategies further. For individuals who are just starting out or who may find themselves overwhelmed by complexity, a simpler, less in depth approach might be beneficial.

Overall, this book is a valuable resource for high-achieving individuals seeking to optimize their organizational skills and maximize their potential. While it may not be the ideal starting point for everyone, those willing to invest the time and effort will undoubtedly find it to be a worthwhile and very enlightening read.

valuable information, but…

SUPER repetitive. This book has value, so i gave it a high rating. But it says in 183 passes what it could say in 50 or less. I also rated it high because maybe some people with ADHD need the repitition for it to sink in, for me it was just frustrating I was spending time reading the same thing over and over. The short version is, make lists, break down projects into small pieces, reflect, have an accountability partner/ support system, reward yourself. It’s literally those things, over and over, not just for each chapter or section but within each chapter. It was so distracting, that I possibly missed some gems of suggestions because I just scanned over the last half of the book. I especially think this book could be valuable for someone with a TBI who has memory deficits trying to get a grip on organizing with ADHD, but really, for those of us easily distracted (cough, ADHD), repeating the same tricks 100 (not exaggeration) times best way to get the message hammered in.

Very friendly

The first thing I want to note is that this feels more like advice from a BFF than a book. Especially how it ends! I love how there is advice for time management (which I am awful at) and tackling the laundry. Will try this, can't wait to see how it works out! It truly is written in a way to understand way and lives up to its title

Really helpful

For those of us who suffer from ADHD this book has some really helpful insights. I could explain my hyper focus better to my family with this books assistance. Honestly, my house is cluttered, and I often don't know where, how, or even if it's worth it to begin. I'm going to try and implement some of these strategies and finally declutter for good!
