If you’re a true crime enthusiast who enjoys reading about some of the most depraved monsters in our country, you will love United States of True Crime.
I love true crime so it was refreshing to have stories in here that I haven’t heard of. There was a couple but not enough to be annoyed! I learned alot and you get to see how corrupt and insane the justice system is. The sentencing some of these people got OR didn’t get it’s absolutely NUTS!!!!
While i enjoyed it the book has some major/minor flaws. Like publishing didn’t catch certain grammar mistakes or saying she when it should be he or vice versa. The paragraphs of some of the stories seem to be out of order or how the story is conveyed is kinda all over. You get the gist of the story but the time lines/dates sometimes jump and you think well they didn’t she say that before or something.
This series is interesting. The author has done a decent job of choosing to write about the lesser known crimes. However, the author or the publisher or both need to do a better job of proofreading. There are a lot of misspelled words, wrong pronouns used, and punctuation issues.
I learned some things I didn't know now that I live in Gainesville and the movie scream it's all based on same killings here in Gainesville won't say who or what to spoil it if you don't know.
I read this book and was amazed at how well the description of the cases were. I’ve wondered about how many other serial murders there were that no one knows about. I only heard about one in this book. So yeah I’m going to read more of Ms Hudson’s books.
