"The last chapter left my mouth wide open and how it ends I was like WOW…." - Goodreads Review
Club 444 has one unbreakable don't fall in love.
As the eldest brother and the CEO of our family's multibillion-dollar empire, control isn't just a preference—it's a necessity. Since the loss of our parents, the weight of our legacy and the future of my brothers rest squarely on my shoulders. Club 444 was meant to be my escape, a realm where the elite can indulge away from prying eyes. But that was before Faith walked through its doors, challenging every rule I've set in place.
The decision to work at Club 444 was born of desperation. My brother's life hangs in the balance, and the cost of his treatment leaves me with no other choice. Surrounded by wealth and power, I feel out of place, a stranger in a world of luxury and hidden desires. Cassius, the enigmatic owner, insists his interest is purely professional. Yet, his lingering looks suggest a tantalizing possibility of something more. But he's made it clear he will never be more than my employer. As lines begin to blur, I'm faced with a choice that threatens to upend adhere to the boundaries set by Cassius, or surrender to a heart that wants to believe I'm worthy of love.
Club 444 is a sexy, fast-paced series of short reads set at a private billionaire's club. Cliffhanger alert! Guaranteed HEA at the end of the series, but until then, buckle up!
USA Today and Amazon Top-10 Bestselling Author Leigh James is currently sitting on a white-sand beach, watching the sunset, dreaming up her next billionaire. Get ready, he's going to be a HOT one!
Just kidding! Leigh is actually freezing her butt off in Maine, USA, where she lives with her awesome husband, their great kids, and her BFF Choco the chocolate lab. But she promises that billionaire is REALLY going to be something!
Her books have been translated into German, French, Italian, and Portuguese. Leigh also writes Young Adult Paranormal Romance as Leigh Walker. Her smash-hit series Vampire Royals was previously optioned by Netflix.
I must say, the author gave a real cliff hanger in this book and kept us in edge. Who had read this book would know I meant it literally.
The male protagonist is the good boy in the bad boy seriouslyyy. How can someone be bad narcissist, hot ...use all words u would for a mafia but still respects women (but can also filthy them.
This book literally is filled with spice ....also literally. Loved it
This book was so good u couldn’t put it down. Leigh James is a new to me author and I definitely need to read her books now after reading this one.
Both Cassius and Faith were characters that were written so well in this book. I loved how Faith took care of her brother and was trying her best to do everything she could for them both. Cassius is the CEO and he feels like he has to have the responsibility and control of his family’s enterprise.
I love how we see Faith trying her best to navigate herself throughout this book and she has to learn how to be comfortable in this situation. The chemistry between Cassius and Faith was so believable and I loved every minute of it.
Can we also talk about how this book ended???!!! Talk about a freaking cliffhanger.
Overall such a good book was so full of tension and romance that I need more.
Spice rating: 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Thank you to Author agency and Leigh James for the chance to read this book as an early e copy!
Its written in a way that is just very drawn out, especially since it’s a 81 page novella.
Secondly, some of the main parts of the story are just horrible. I like the idea of the novella, and some of my favorite books are set in «private clubs» or sex clubs, so i’m not unfamiliar with it. But this place…. Just no. The rules (that are written twice, right after each other which is just very repetative) are so badly created and formulated that they took me out of the story because I was just thinking how easy they would be to go around. Like «only three consecutive times a month», well, then they could be with that person three times, sleep with someone else (or just be in a private room with them) and then be able to go back three more times with the first person again. And they also defines «activity» as any sexual contact, so just what cassius and faith did here would then count as two of the three times...
But the biggest issue I have about this book is their idea of consent. About it being a free pass to whatever the ‘patreon’ wants and that there are no safeguards if anyone wanted to withdraw consent or not engange in specific activities. There is no care for the ‘girls’, as they are called, and their personal limits, making the whole «selling virgins» just feel more icky than it already did (not that having a virgin-fetish and going to these extremes to get that didn’t make him sound icky enough already…)
When I started the book, I was ready for a sexy erotic 80 pages novel that would ignite passion and make me look for more similar books. What I got, had nothing to do with my expectations and left me disappointed, to say the least.
The writing style is nothing special - it is extremely shallow, but at least it is a quickly read (the only good thing about this book, apart from its end and the idea).
The already mentioned idea of the story is good, but everything seems hasty. And I understand that this is a short novel, so things have to happen quickly, but there are ways not to look as forced and vulgar as it is here. We have faceless characters and a tasteless enumeration of things from the setting or appearance of the characters that are simply told instead of shown. And as much as this paints a picture of what is happening, it is certainly not in a way that shows a good writing style.
Everything is too easy, almost - given to the characters. They are placed in the perfect situations so that they adapt to the plot and it just doesn't seem real.
The erotic scene was ridiculous and poorly written, which was also due to the fact that I did not feel any chemistry between the main characters, but only forced relationship that are shoved at the readers’ faces.
The ending was quite unexpected, and to be honest - I would read the next book just to see how the story would continue. But in general - I am not particularly impressed, nor am I particularly fascinated by this book. ~~~ Rating: 2/5⭐
✨~~~This book was provided to me as an ARC by Grey's Promo for my honest opinion.~~~✨
This is four short novelettes of about 80 pgs each that make up this series. I wasn’t paying attention when I selected the first short story or I wouldn’t have read this series since I don’t select books usually under 300 pages. This is the story of Cassius and Faith. Age gap romance….
Faith is only twenty years old and down on her luck. She is basically homeless and destitute when the story begins because she spends every cent she makes taking care of her 14 yr old brother who has cancer and is in an experimental treatment program. Her mother is an alcoholic and could care less about her children. When the treatment program threatens to kick her brother out because of lack of payment, Faiths friend mentions that she can make big money selling herself on the internet. Although she is inexperienced and really has no idea what is truly involved she gets on and is regarding a special program. The program is working in Cassius’ new sex club selling her virginity for one million dollars, and she agrees.
Cassius is the one who buys her virginity and feels an immediate connection to Faith even before there’s any sexual activity. Once he’s taken her virginity, he can’t let her go and becomes wildly jealous of any man that looks at her or goes near and the story evolves from there. This was a pretty good story. It kept me interested and motivated to continue from each novelette to the next. Cassius, although at first appeared harsh and unwielding, pretty easily fell for Faith. And Faith was the same. She was to continue working in the club for a period of one year but decided after losing her virginity to Cassius she couldn’t bear to have another man touch or hold her. This is about 3.5 ⭐️
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of "WORTHY" This is a short hot steamy read, at an exclusive Sex Club 444, emotional turmoil, intrigue, angst, struggles, sacrifice, fears, twists that makes for a very addicting story. Cassius Blackwood CEO a multi-billion dollar corporation along his brothers Sterling & Rhodes dreams of opening an exclusive Sex club the draw being able to obtain a Virgin at an extremely high price, Gina the madame finds the girls for the Club. Faith an 18yr. old a struggling young lady tasked with looking after her 14yr.old brother who has a life threatening condition gets the best care possible despite Faith not being able to afford the cost she has great responsibilities, threatened with her brother loss of his treatment she has no choice but to become one of the exclusive Virgins at Club 444 so she'll sacrifice herself to to hold on as long as she can. Cassius is drawn to Faith at first sight he wants her & he's being professional, but their interactions suggest there's something deeper going on, the sexual tension between them will Cassius adhere to his rules of professional boundaries or will he succumb to his feeling for Faith, she'll do whatever she has to keep her job. Cassius was totally taken with her she was a Virgin, Sensual a combination he dreamed of, he thought she'd kill him, she trying to navigate her place in a world dominated by Wealth & Power, she's resilient & vulnerable, he's dealing with his need for control & opening his heart to her. I definitely recommend to get this steamy, emotional journey Cassius & Faith take you on its a quick read you can't out down & OMG!! the the cliffhanger will blow you away the next book "WORTHY 2" can't come soon enough to see what happens next. EXCELLENT HOT STEAMY ROMANCE I LOVED IT 🖤
I received a copy of this book from the publisher/author to review for Stephanie's Book Reports.
This is a short eighty one page book that you will read in no time and close picking your jaw up off the floor. This story also gives off some serious Cinderella vibes and I loved that about it. This is the story of Faith and Cassius. He is the head of his family's billion dollar corporation. He and his brother have always had a dream of opening an over the top fancy club. He is a man who has a serious thing for virgins, is a Dom and always, always in control. However he is about to meet the one person that will test that control he holds on to so tightly. Faith. She is on a mission to make sure her younger brother who is very sick gets the best treatment there is. He is life threateningly sick and Faith knows that she doesn't have the money to make sure he gets the best care possible. She was set up to fail in this task before she ever began. However she has a plan and that plan includes Club 444 and sacrificing so her brother can live. Now I have to say that while quick this book doesn't feel like you read a short little story. It really packs a punch. And then it slams you right in the face as hard as possible and you're left reeling. Now I need the next book in my hands right this second. I have to know what is going to happen. Wow I read a lot of books with cliffhangers but this one was at the top of the list.
Wow! I absolutely loved this book. Amazing characters and wonderful plot. Very beautifully written and easy to read.
Faith Kensington has an ill fourteen year old brother, Lucas, he has cancer and needs expensive treatment. Faith lost her job and has no place to live. She needs ten thousand dollars by Friday or her brother will be kicked out of the treatment center. Her friend, Kylie, convinced her to sign up on an app for old perverts. There she was contacted by the dating agency. She came for an interview and was astounded by the price of the signing bonus. She accepted.
She would be working at The Club 444, an exclusive s*x club for billionaires. She would live for a year at a luxurious mansion. Her being a v*rgin, makes her even more valuable and richer in the end. She meets Cassius Blackwood, CEO and owner of The Club 444. He’s cold and domineering. He immediately wanted her and was determined to buy her v*rginity. I loved their chemistry and passion. The end got me shocked.
Overall I loved this book very much. If you’re looking for a billionaire romance then you’re going to love it.
OMG, just finished "Worthy" by Leigh James and I’m totally obsessed!
Cassius is the eldest brother, CEO, and total control freak of his family’s multibillion-dollar empire. After losing his parents, he’s carrying all the weight. Club 444 is his escape, but then Faith walks in, and BOOM, everything changes! Faith is desperate to save her brother’s life. She steps into Club 444, feeling totally out of place in all that luxury and mystery. Cassius says it’s all business, but those looks? Yeah, there’s something deeper.
Why I Loved It: Billionaire vibes: Cassius is the ultimate wealthy, powerful guy. Virgin heroine: Faith's innocence adds so much depth. Age gap romance: the older, more experienced Cassius and the younger Faith? Total chemistry. Sexy, secret club settings: Club 444 is so intriguing and luxurious. Emotional rollercoaster:: The struggles and sacrifices are real! Cliffhanger Alert: Ends on a HUGE cliffhanger that had me screaming, "WHAT?!" I can’t wait for the next book!
"Worthy" is short, steamy, and super addictive. Leigh James nailed it. If you love billionaire romances with a Cinderella twist, this one’s for you!
Tropes: Billionaire Hero Virgin Heroine Private Club She looks after her brother Alphahole Hero He Falls First
This book is a short and to the point book, which really appreciated, but I do wish we got more.
Faith is 20 years old and looking after her 14 year brother that has cancer. When she needs $10,000 by the end of the week to keep her brother in treatment, she joins a sugar daddy website on the recommendation of her friend. On the site she's recruited by a new private club that's about to open. The only problem is Faith doesn't fully understand what the club is for.
I liked Faith's strength and the lengths she'll go to protect and look after her brother, but she was a bit too naive. Like extremely naive.
Cassius Blackwood is definition of stone cold and detached. He along with his brothers formed Club 444. When he first sees Faith he's instantly attracted to her, but of course he will keep things professional, even if her story touches his heart. He's a classic "I had to grow up quickly and learned to ignore my emotions" type of guy and let's be honest, we love a tortured hero!
That ending was unfair, but absolutely amazing! I really do wish we got more in this book, but I'm extremely excited for the next book and possible books for the other Blackwood brothers!
I would be lying if I didn't say that the halted ending came as quickly as Cassius did!
Worthy is a fast-paced short story read, with more to follow. The book follows the lead up and opening to Club 444. Cassius and his 2 multi-billion dollar brothers further build their empire by purchasing a mega mansion and making it into an elite adult playground. Cassius is the head of the family, and the club is his dream. He is measured and controlled... until he meets Faith.
Faith is a beautiful young woman who comes from a not so great background. She is fighting every obstacle to help her teenager brother, who is sick. Life seems to throw her a curve when a job at Club 444 is offered to her. She hastily takes it because it means helping her brother, but Faith forgot one thing... to ask what the job entailed.
Will Club 444 be what she needs? Will she be able to handle what the job requires? And who is Cassius Blackwood?
Worthy is a short and fast paced novel. I was intrigued with just the first chapter and was pleasantly surprised with the plot to spice ratio. Cassius and Faith interactions were not that much but the chemistry was there. I was not expecting that cliffhanger ending! I wanted more. I'm glad to find out that I don't have to wait too long for the second and third installment
Read trigger warnings before indulging yourself with reading this book
Thank you for the digital arc. Everything in this review has been written willing fully.
Since I read a proof copy of the book any grammatical errors did not impact the rating.

Club 444 has one rule, don’t fall in love.
WOW! This short, fast paced novella is great and had such an unexpected ending! (Cliffhanger alert) I can’t wait for book two to see what happens next! Although it is based in an exclusive, private sex club, I was hoping for a bit more spice in it but the parts that Leigh wrote were *chefs kiss*.
FMC, Faith, has to choose between being able to support her brother and stepping so far out of her comfort zone, it’s none existent.
MMC, Cassius, mmm wow, he is all sorts of bad boy billionaire wrapped up as a cinnamon roll in an expensive suit. The way he is so dominating and demands respect yet still cares about the girls and their boundaries is swoonworthy.
Ok wow....! Just ....wow! That book is extremely short but so good! All the details are there, for the project "Club 444", the setting, the rooms, the rules, the expected behaviors, the expected actions and interactions, the girls, the gentleman, the owners....Cassius! Omg Cassius is full on OTT, possessive , dark, domineering and delicious in every way. And Faith is a dream. A virgin that does what she must to get the monetary help her brother needs....and she does it like noone else could , the best !She brings Cassius on his knees figuratively and in reality....And they enjoyed it so so much!
Buuuuuuuuut, I must warn you, BIIIIIIIIG GLIFFY here, after making you hot to the extreme and waiting to see how this story unfolds.....BAM!GLIFFHANGER that make you speed to purchase the next book in the series....which i have to wait for another day or two or 3
Cassius Blackwood is a CEO of a multi-billion dollar corporation Ali G with his brothers Sterling & Rhodes dreams of opening an exclusive Sex club the draw being able to obtain a Virgin for high price, Gina the madame finds the girls for the Club. A short but spicy, fast paced novella as three wealthy brothers establish an elite sex club/brothel specialising in virgins that come with a high price tag. The heroine Faith was strangely sheltered and naïve for a girl who has had the responsibility of being her teenage brother’s sole carer. I kind of expected her to have some street smarts with the life she’d had but anyway he was the reason she taken the position at Club 444 with the money too good to turn down. Once there she caught the eye of eldest brother Cassius who was drawn to Faith almost against his will but just as things were heating up between them, Worthy ended on the dreaded cliffhanger leaving this reader intrigued and desperate to find out what will happen next between them
Wh..wh.. what the hell just happen? Was literally my first thought when this book ended.
Cassius is the eldest brother, CEO, and total control freak of his family’s multibillion-dollar empire, and his new private Club 444 is just the escape he needs. He’s strict and doesn’t break rules, that is until he sees Faith and for the first time that might be an issue
Faith is desperate and in need of money quick to save her brother’s life, and to prevent herself from being homeless..She accepts a job at Club 444, and is completely overwhelmed by all the luxury and mystery. So imagine her surprise when she finds out she’s been purchased by the hot CEO himself Cassius.
I can’t wait for the next book to come out… I NEED to see what happen next because that ending shocked me
Cassius and his brothers opened a brand new exclusive sex club where people pay a premium for virgins. Poor Faith desperately needs money for her brother’s cancer treatments. He’s a teenager and has no one to rely on other than Faith. At her wits end she accepts the job for the money. The bonus of allowing someone to take her virginity is worth a couple of million dollars which would help her and her brother survive. Cassius has been desperate for a virgin and one he lays eye on Faith. He knew she was the one. So he pays the 10 million dollar fee, requests her presence and then he fires her and requests that she vacate the club. This book ends on a cliffhanger. Luckily the second book is out in early June. Great story fast paced with BDSM aspects.
Enter into Club 444 and meet Cassius and Faith, where your fantasies can be explored in a mesmerizing and enticing environment. Worthy, has an intriguing storyline, that kept my attention from page one. The two main characters could not be more different. Cassius, is a billionaire who likes to be in control and have a plan. Faith, is a little naïve in my opinion, but is willing to do anything to support her brother. Worthy, is a fast paced read, that ends with a cliffhanger, just when the story is going to get scandalous. If you are looking for a short and spicyish read, I highly recommend this novella.
Cassius and his brothers are setting up a premiere spicy club and need women to live/work within Club 444. Faith is struggling to take care of her little bother and herself. She takes a job with Club 444 as one of their platinum level offerings. Faith and Cassius are instantly drawn together but will they get a HEA?
This was the first novella in the new Club 444 series. This novella does end on a cliffhanger and sets us up for book two (and three) to come immediately after. The first one was short and fast paced. I enjoyed the storyline and can’t wait to find out what happens with Cassius and Faith! As always, check for TWs and happy reading!
This is a short novella (around 80 pages), and is the first of three in this series about Cassius and Faith. For being a novella, it has a great plot and storyline. The anticipation leading up to the major scene was intense, as was the abrupt cliffhanger. I hadn’t realized this was a three part short series but I’m glad because I need more. Lots more. Cassius is the oldest of 3 billionaire brothers who just opened an exclusive sex club/opulent mansion only accessible to billionaires. Faith is a poor woman, with a 14 year brother who is extremely sick. She is desperate and in need of money. Enter Club 444 and the proposition she receives. I loved this and can’t wait for more.
Damn! I need more… ASAP. This novella is short and spicy with a nice cliffy at the end leading into the next book. Immediately leaving you wanting more!
This book centers on Faith as she takes a job as an escort at Club 444, which is owned by Cassius and his brothers. She needs the money to pay for her brother’s medical treatments. Cassius is immediately interested in Faith because she ticks many of his boxes; she’s beautiful, and most importantly a virgin…Can’t wait to see what happens next!
Looking forward to continuing Cassius and Faith’s story to see what unfolds. Thank you so much to the Author Agency and Leigh James for the ARC!
This is the first in a new series , and this is Cassius and Faith’s story. Cassius is the eldest of his siblings, and he is the CEO of his family’s multi-billion dollar empire. Faith is desperate to keep her ill 14-year-old brother in his treatment program and starts working at Club 444. This is a well written story which is a fast paced, easy to read story, with emotions, obligations, undeniable chemistry, sacrifices, an age gap, and leads to an entertaining, haunting, unpredictable, and steamy page tuner, which ends with an unexpected cliffhanger. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
“Club 444 has one unbreakable rule: don’t fall in love.”
Tropes: 🥃 Billionaire Romance 🥃 Age Gap 🥃 Virgin FMC 🥃 Instafixation
💭 Book one of Cassius and Faiths story had me all over the place. The story is a novella length and else than 100 pages. Though there wasn’t too much that happened, the ending was A LOT and instantly wanted to read book two (which isn’t out yet). If you don’t like cliffhangers, maybe wait until the next book comes out. If you like torturing yourself, grab this now on KU!
✨ Thank you Leigh James and The Author Agency for my e-ARC of Worthy
Omg I need book two immediately. Worthy is a quick read about the creation of Club 444 a gentleman’s club for the elite started by the Blackwood brothers. This club allows the rich to explore all their sexual fantasies. Cassius is the CEO of this club and he wants this idea he and his brothers created to be perfect. Faith is one of the girls chosen to work at this club but she is a highly valued employee and she is one of only a handful of virgins. This is a fast paced book that leaves you immediately looking for book two. Luckily it is only a few days until it comes out because June 11 I will be running to my Amazon account to add it to my kindle.
Enter into the world of Club 444, where the rich and famous come to live out any and/or all their fantasies. Brothers Cassius, Rhodes and Sterling are the owners of this fabulous establishments, where bedding a virgin could cost you $10 Millions. Faith is 20 years old and must take care of her sick brother. She needs $10K fast to keep him in his treatment. Her friend encourages her to sign up fir a sugar daddy dating agency. However, she is invited to join Club 444, she meets Cassius and everything will change at the blink of any eye. Their chemistry is hot and the passion is through the roof. I can't to see what's next at Club 444.
Disclaimer I rank all novellas/short stories as a 3 because most of the time I don't like them or hate them necessarily. I still do leave an opinion on each one so you can keep reading for that!
Book 1 started out okay for me. I liked the introduction to the characters, but I wished we had a little more background on their pasts besides the tiny bit that we got. I'm not a huge fan of insta love so that wasn't really a problem with this story it's just not my thing in general. And I will say while this is about a sex club you only get mild spice in this first book.
The cliffhanger did leave me hanging enough that I went and purchased the rest of the series.
