Encyclopedic Overview of CRE
While this is a very welcome overview of Commercial Real Estate as it compares to Residential Real Estate, I was hoping it would get more in depth as to strategies and specifics. For example, when talking about Loan to Value - it merely summarizes to “aim for a healthy LTV”. No mention of what the author would consider a “healthy” LTV% to be - even if that % varies by sector, then explain some of the parameters of what risk variables to consider. I suppose the bottom line is to get to know the terminology, and this book is a reasonable start. If you require strategies and details, you may want to look elsewhere.
