Do you know what it’s like to be Lucifer’s daughter? I mean, all I want is a nice apartment with southern exposure. A guy to rub my feet at the end of the night. Oh, and a job that doesn’t involve torturing souls for all eternity.
Unfortunately, escaping my infernal heritage isn’t as easy as moving to Earth and adopting a cat named Purrgatory. Not after someone took a pitchfork to my memories and scrambled them up real good. I can’t even remember how I got here.
I was this close to a normal life. Even found a guy who might want to rub my feet. But in the middle of our first date, he barges in. Rathiel, or Captain Bootlicker as I prefer to call him. My father’s right-hand man and a fallen angel turned vampire. One moment, I’m enjoying dessert, and the next, he’s hauling me out of the restaurant claiming my father wants me dead.
Rath calls it protective custody; I call it overbearing and obnoxious. He swears he’ll kill anyone who touches me, which is sweet in a terrifying, please-don’t-eat-my-date kind of way. I never asked for a guardian demon. But he’s determined to play hero, whether I like it or not. And unfortunately, I’m starting to love it.
Maybe I don’t want a normal life. Maybe I want…him.
We just need to survive my father first.

Kinsley Adams likes long walks on the beach, all things chocolate, and sweet little puppies that... wait. Wrong about me, sorry.
*ahem*
Kinsley Adams is a thirty-something-year-old author who stopped counting when she turned twenty-five. When she isn’t writing uproariously hilarious romantic comedies, she’s raising her womb-gremlin with the hopes that he might one day become the world’s first Supreme Leader.
Oh. My. Word! That was amazing! I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen next! Before I get to deep into this review I will say you should definitely read Raise A Little Hell which is the prequel to Match Made in Hell and definitely helps introduce you to the Queen of Hell series, not to mention it’s amazing! All that being said Match Made in Hell is a must read! I mean who doesn’t love paranormals, romance, drama, protective and possessive MMCs, a heroine you want to be, oh and just a touch of amnesia all mixed together to create an amazing fast paced read that will devour in hours and then be devastated that book two isn’t out yet! I absolutely loved Match Made in Hell and can’t wait to see whats going to happen on this park next, especially in the romance department… I’m seriously rooting (hoping) that Lily and Rathiel get their HEA! But I suppose I shall just have to patiently wait and reread Match Made in Hell until the release of book two!
Lily, Hells princess who has been banished to earth has spent ten years just trying to survive, maybe even thrive… just a little. And everything seems to be on the right path to a long, comfortable life until an opportunity to earn a little extra cash leads to an unexpected encounter. Throwing off Lily’s carefully constructed life and bringing more than one hellspawn back into Lily’s life. These encounters may just be what Lily needs though to bring back the memories that have left her abandoned for so long. So if you love a story that will have you flipping pages as quickly as you can read them, a slow burn romance that will have you desperate for these characters happily ever after, hilarious banter, comical antics from two hilarious side characters who add to this book in a big way, great found family (if trust can be found), and so much drama and action that you’ll just have to know what happens next!
I enjoyed this book. Lots of action with descriptive deaths, drama, lost memories, and a slow burn romance. This story was filled with suspense and some humor. Lily is a beast, with her beauty, strength and determination she is a great female lead character with spunk and attitude. Rath is deadly, handsome, protective and moody. I can’t wait to learn more about him and watch their romance either reignite or burnout completely. Lily’s “roomies” are a complete riot. Excited for book two. Hell here we come!
Okay, I’m intrigued! This book was simple in some ways but so intriguing at the same time. Every time I thought I was at the point that it was giving me as much as it could, it would feed me just a little more, it was seriously hard to put down.
I absolutely love the underlying plot of Lily missing her memories and that undeniable connection she shares with Rathiel, even when she can’t remember it. I’m obsessed. I can’t wait to see her fully unleashed in all her power, I just know it’s going to be so badass. And of course I can’t get enough of Vol and Purrgy! The cutest little side characters ever, and you know I love me a good sidekick lol!
If you are looking for a more established writer comparison, I'd definitely say Kim Harrison vibes. Fun, loveable characters, with a knack for finding trouble. And I just loved Vol and Purrgatory so much! A quick easy read. Can't wait to see what shenanigans this unlikely gang gets up to in book 2.
Fallen Angel, Amnesiac Princess, Earthly Mayhem: A Review That's Gone to Hell (in a Good Way!)
Forget your typical fish-out-of-water story. This book plunges you headfirst into a world where Lucifer's daughter, banished to Earth and stripped of her memories, is just trying to figure out why her life is suddenly a magnet for the bizarre and downright dangerous. What could go wrong? Oh, you know, just the usual: hellspawn hunting her down, cryptic prophecies, and the slow, agonizing realization that your past is probably something you don't want to remember.
From the very first page, this story grabs you by the horns and doesn't let go. The action is relentless, a whirlwind of supernatural showdowns and close calls that kept me on the edge of my seat. But it's not just the action that shines; the real magic lies in the characters and their development.
What starts as a lonely struggle for our amnesiac protagonist quickly evolves into a found family dynamic that's both heartwarming and hilarious. The author masterfully crafts these side characters, each with their own quirks and motivations, turning them into indispensable allies. They're not just window dressing; they actively contribute to the plot, adding depth and complexity to the narrative.
And then there's Purrgatory and Vol. Seriously, they deserves their own spin-off series. The sheer chaos these character injects into every scene is comedic gold. Think mischievous imp meets Ken doll wardrobe, all while wreaking havoc on a cosmic scale. Honestly, I never expected to be laughing so hard amidst all the demonic drama, but the author nails the balance between dark fantasy and laugh-out-loud humor. Poor Purrgatory, having to deal with that little chaos demon... it's a running gag that never gets old.
Beyond the action and humor, this story explores themes of identity, redemption, and the power of choice. As the protagonist unravels the mystery of her past, she's forced to confront not only the person she was, but the person she wants to become. Can she escape the shadow of her father? Can she forge her own destiny? The answers are anything but predictable.
This book is a wild ride from beginning to end, a testament to imaginative world-building, compelling characters, and a plot that keeps you guessing. It's the kind of story that stays with you long after you've finished reading, leaving you craving more.
And speaking of more, I am desperate for the sequel! The ending leaves you with so many unanswered questions and unresolved threads, I'm already counting down the days until I can dive back into this captivating world. If you're looking for a fresh take on the urban fantasy genre with a healthy dose of humor and heart, look no further. This book is a must-read!
I'm DNF-ing this at 81% of the way through. I can't tell if I'm struggling to finish reading it because the main female lead has become TSTL about 40% way through the book or if it's just the fact that NOTHING is happening.
She goes back and forth to work over and over again. Even dragging the male lead to sit while she works. Every time something does happen she just bursts out her flames and saves the day, even though she supposedly has no idea how to control them. But oh look out you hurt the male lead and she suddenly becomes invincible. Dont even get me started on her "friends" and lets be honest she has no friends because she self isolates to hide her identity, but somehow they DEMAND to know what all is happening and she just gives in after yrs of hiding. A normal person would have told them to get bent. They barely know each other.
And the romance! ugh! how obvious does the male lead need to be for her to get a hint? Dude is basically wearing a flashing sign on his chest saying "I LOVE YOU" and she is just like "what how could u not tell me?" like girl, be for real. you have eyes and i thought you had a brain, but i guess not with all the repeating of facts and moments your replaying all the time.
Honestly, if i finish this it would be a miracle. if i do I'll change my rating to two stars just so i know i finished it but so far i can't force myself to suffer another chapter of dragged out nothingness.
Lily has been on Earth for ten years, staying under the radar, hiding from her father, Lucifer. Only scars remain of her wings, a reminder of her exile and his punishment. Her two jobs as a barista in a human coffee shop, and a bartender in a paranormal bar pay just enough to subsist. She keeps to herself, no relationships, minimal friends, because how do you explain that you are a celestial from hell? Now, she suddenly has two men in her life – one human, one vampire fallen one, and demons are out to kill her.
This is an action-packed, demonic blockbuster! Don’t blink or you will miss something. Good writing, exciting plot, great reading!
I like it when I fond another author to read, and love it even more when they have a back catalogue for me to gorge in. Having read the prequel book and then this one, I am now invested in continuing the story. I found it entertaining and not overly fluffy like some books can be, it has some gritt. Having said that, if you read the book I hope that you too then want an imp and a large ginger cat. You will understand if you read this book.

Lilly is a celestial with hidden talents, and a history missing even from her.
When she finally takes strides towards more than minimal survival, everything she didn't know she was missing out on brings lethal and horrible attention focused on her, and those unlucky enough to be around her.
Who and what survived the shattering of her heart and her recent dreams if a new simple normal?
drama, suspense and action packed adventures - realm, heart, friends and family decimating traumas and events.
Such a great tone to this book. I really enjoy the author’s style of writing. Great banter between Lily and Rathiel. Fallen angel sent through a portal to be safe, Lily finds herself without a chunk of her memories and trouble on her path. I like the premise of the story. Knew the location as soon as Whyte ave was mentioned! Love supporting a local author. Can’t wait for the next book!
I love this book for it's playfulness, combined with the elements of supernatural conflict it's an absolute winner. My heart belongs to Vol, I would give him house room any day of the week. I'd even buy him as much wool as he wants!
Lily's lucky to have the gorgeous Rathiel on her side. I'm hoping that she recovers enough of her memories to open her heart to him again. I'm really looking forward to the next book.
What a surprising amazing story. Lily Queen of Hell! This start to this series just carried me away. Lost memories, action, drama, romance, everything a great story needs. I Loved It and could not put it down!!! I Highly recommend! No Spoilers!.

Match Made in Hell is the first book in the Queen of Hell series by Kinsly Adams and is a definite must read! My advice before you crack the book open you read the prequel Raise a Little Hell as it sets up the series. This series is well written and very creative, I can't wait to read the next book!.

Really liking this story so far! I don’t normally go for the vampire and shifter books, honestly I didn’t know this one involved all that until I got into it, but I love a good demon/angel trope. Rathiel and Lilly are cute, and it was interesting seeing their story unfold. Can’t wait to start #2
This book is written in a smooth way and there is a lot going on in it, romance, suspense. Too much drama for me personally. The environment in which it takes place is very nicely done and the world building was also very nice. I would definitely give a second part a chance
She thought she could lead a normal life. Go on a date. Be human but ... She's lucifers daughter and he's out to kill her because of a prophesy. Really good read. Lots of adventure and a little bit of romance
This was an amazing read. I suggest reading the prequel Raise a Little Hell before reading this one. This is action packed, filled with drama and suspense. Highly recommend reading. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

This failed to keep my attention. I was pretty bored at the 30% mark. There isn't much to distinguish it from other novels with the same or similar plot.
