What do you do when you're so empty inside, you feel nothing? When all you've ever known was pain? You run. That's what I did-I ran away without once looking back. People say starting over is the best way for a new beginning, but that's far from the truth if you end up back where you began. Sometimes life likes to throw lemons at you really hard until there's nothing left to do but make lemonade. I've known pain, but not the kind that messes with my heart. That is until Logan, Dalton, Tey, and Nicholas came into my life without a warning label. I'm not prepared, and I'm afraid after fighting since day one...they might just be the reason I finally break.
The complete series of Dolls and Douchebags books 1-5
About Madeline Fay Madeline lives in rural Michigan in a castle with all her fur babies and her lovely husband. She loves to read; you’ll find her in her tower with her Kindle and drinking boba tea or coffee. She has a few addictions: chocolate is her weakness, and fanfiction Dramione. She likes to pretend she’s a main character in a Korean drama and listens to K-pop as she dances around the house. Her brain never stops creating conversations with WIP characters… You should see her Google Drive. It’s ridiculous how many tabs are opened for new stories to write. She’s a zombie half the time during the day until the coffee kicks in, but at night she watches over her city in the shadows and calls herself Batman. Not really, but she keeps hoping it might come true one day. She’s in her bat cave writing and plotting mad, evil genius stories while sipping some wine.
This whole series needs a major editing overhaul. Entire paragraphs were repeated. So many spelling errors. Wrong words used such as memorizing instead of mesmerizing (twice that happened!) and wrecked instead of wracked, their instead of there, let’s instead of lets.
Then there is the cultural sensitivity. I usually get pretty excited when there are Latino characters. I’m of Spanish and Mexican heritage so Dom’s character as a Mexican gangster was introduced and initially I was pleased but the stereotypes and improper Spanish usage was so off-putting.
Some issues:
Gang name Los Muerte *it’s either Los Muertos or El Muerte but not Los Muerte Club name La Demonio *it’s either El Demonio or La Demonia not La Demonio Restaurant name Taco Locos *it’s either El Taco Loco or Los Tacos Locos *super cringe is the reference to Taco Tuesday. It’s like the whitest thing you can possibly say when referencing a supposedly Mexican Restaurant
At no point in time would any Mexican gang banger ever refer to someone as “cholo”. It was really dumb that this was even included.
It’s also really cringy to sprinkle in “amigo” here and there. We simply don’t talk like that.
Dom’s Mexican grandma was called “ya-ya”. That’s the great term for grandma. In Mexico we say abuela, abuelita, nana, tita, nanita, mamita…in my life I’ve never heard anyone Mexican say “ya-ya” to refer to their grandmother.
Then, Isabella (in Spanish it should be Isabela with one l not two) offers to make Dom Cuban rice…like, why though? That was just weird. It’s not that hard to Google traditional Mexican dishes.
At one point the author threw in the term “esa” which is definitely something a Mexican American gang banger would say….when talking to a female but in this case, it was a guy. Should have used “ese” instead.
Also, on no planet would a Mexican gang member be named Ethan. I am certain I rolled my eyes so hard at that I sprained my eye balls.
I got the impression that Tillie was Latina but it was such a nebulous idea. She has dark hair and tan skin, but Payne was supposedly her father and he was described as a white guy…and I think Rig was supposedly his brother but we get no info on his ethnicity and Diana is described in such a way that she also sounds like a white chick so how “Tillie” is supposedly Latina is clear as mud. Also, kind of a poor choice of name if she’s supposed to be Latina.
Then, at one point one point it’s “fight night” at the Hell’s Devils compound and a fckin biker says “oh snap!” Like he’s some 90’s teen girl at prep school? No.
Now, Nicky. He’s supposed to be Japanese but Jin’s gang is the Triads? A Chinese gang? Should be the Yakuza if they are Japanese. And apparently Nicky is skilled in kung fu, a Chinese fighting style. Not judo, karate, aikido, jujitsu…but kung fu?
The author used one Japanese word in like book 1 and then just indicates that Nicky is speaking Japanese through the rest of the books. Logan (what an authentically Italian name by the way) is often speaking Italian but no indication what he ever says in Italian.
I’m not certain about Nicola’s Tourette’s and if that was appropriately represented but given the other missteps I’m leaning towards “probably not”.
Also, I get multiple POV with reverse harem but this series went all out. We got the POV of even the side characters ( Nicky’s sister and her boyfriend and none of those chapters really added much value to the story) and the POV of all 4 of the baddies. It was a bit overkill.
Each baddy’s “ending” was pretty anti-climactic on top of all else.
I have other gripes but I think this is pretty comprehensive. The storyline started out strong but kind of just went downhill and I finished the last book feeling really frustrated because so much of what’s wrong could have been avoided with an editor or a beta team to vet some of these issues. If you can’t get someone of the ethnicities you’re trying to represent to help prevent the missteps that abounded this series, a simple Google search would have sufficed.
So I am not a fan of on page r*pe but pushed through it hoping the fmc would become a bad*ss and everyone would get their dues. To a degree I guess that was delivered. Which is why two stars.
But I was grossed out at the start, and then for the trauma and lifestyle i was in complete disbelief with how the fmc acted meeting the harem. So much was utterly unbelievable down to the instant love connections.
The age the characters are suppose to be also is shock value but they read so much older and frankly it would have been better for them to be older.
This was just an erotica with violence, an over abundance of cheesy dialogue and an inability to keep my attention. If I can walk away in the middle of a smut scene many times over is it even worth reading?
Also there was an abundance of issues where the author forgot the character was naked in some way and had them removing articles of clothing they weren’t wearing a paragraph before— this while excusable did get annoying.
The plot…. It took for freaking ever to come around and get resolved. This easily could have been a standalone book if you chopped smut scenes, got the plot together and refined it. Actually one could say that be better than a five book omnibus.
Anyways, I finished it hoping for some epic conclusion but it was just a group smut up front of the bad guy and then unrealistic death — author really should research how hard it is to stab someone in the heart and how to do it because they way it was written wouldn’t be realistic.
I guess if you are super bored this can work but when it says on page r*pe in the trigger warnings it means it and then bringing it up over and over until you want to slap the author with the book.
3.25 ⭐️ As it states this is the whole series in one book, that’s all five 😁 So it’s over 1000 pages.
Do read the trigger warnings.
It’s a long winded story, I’m not saying it’s slow paced as there are parts it moves pretty quick. I think for a why choose, past trauma and revenge, to name a few it has a lot going on and I suppose reading it one book at a time you have that chance to be left wondering or to digest and analyse it. Whereas with this you are getting it in one fell swoop, so following on and on…
There was a lot of smut, which you get with why choose obvs and there were five guys (not the burger place 🤣) to keep satisfied which would mean constant smexy times. We have the usual parental lack of care and responsibility, the abuse of the MMCs, the suddenly boss/prez/leader etc., the backstories coming out. I did find the characters young, for me this didn’t really fit in with the storyline, almost as if they should have been cast older to fit in with the plot 🤷🏻♀️
I found a few anomalies, Tank was the VP for Dalton but then suddenly it’s Axel who allegedly was “going to be watched as he might turn out to be a problem” this made no sense, no-one knows what happened to poor Tank ☹️, parts where they had clothes on, then didn’t within pages and vice versa. I would have liked the FMC to have turned into a real badass, being as he Uncle Rig spent so long training her, again bits of strength came out then disappeared. Personally, it seemed very drawn out to reach its conclusion which wasn’t surprising at all.
The first three books were good but I was begging for the ending during the last two. I would have like to see an epilogue a few years down the road after Tey got his way and put a couple babies in her. Another thing that bugged me was all the squirting. Like do you know how the female anatomy works? There is only so much liquid the bladder can hold. That’s right I said bladder because that’s where it comes from.
I stopped at 69% at that point I had skimmed more than I read, the story did have potential though. So many plot, grammar, cultural or even one or two anatomy mistakes…
TWs don’t bother me if they have a purpose to the story. If it helps to better understand the characters or help develop them, it doesn’t bother me. They don’t do either in this book. The FMC lives this tragic life with trauma galore and all it makes her is mouthy and horny… This is unfortunate and a missed opportunity for a badass FMC.
The MMCs aren’t any better. The author spends so much time trying to make the MMCs and the villains seem so scary and uncaringly violent that nothing really makes sense. On top of that the story is filled with empty threats.
There was no characters arc development for almost none of the characters... There was a lot of smut though that at the end wasn't even smutting for me....
This book is a copy of Den of Vipers. The plot and characters are almost exactly the same. Only difference is their looks and the characters were adults in that book they are kids in this one which makes it all the more worst.
Triggers points don’t bother me if they have a purpose to the story. If it helps to better understand the characters or help develop them it doesn’t bother me. They don’t do either in this book. The FMC lives this tragic life with trauma galore and all it makes her is mouthy. This is unfortunate and a missed opportunity for a badass FMC.
The MMCs aren’t any better. The author spends so much time trying to make the MMCs and the villains seem so scary and uncaringly violent that nothing really makes sense. On top of that the story is filled with empty threats. Someone is always threatening to r*pe the FMC til she bleeds or cut off fingers or p*nises or pull of toe nails or whatever. It’s just redundant and childish especially when the FMC threatens someone because she has got to be the most pathetic and weak character.
The whole angle of “r*pe is bad unless you like the person r*ping you” is wild and not in a good way. The FMC is basically r*ped by everyone including all of the MMCs but for some reason she is able to randomly feel attracted and “safe” with the MMCs when they do it. What?!? It desensitizes the trauma that she goes thru in the being of the story and makes the FMC seem like she has loose screws.
On top of all of that there are so many cringy, gag-worthy, unnecessary moments that should not have made it to page. I was more shocked that the author, as a female wrote it than shocked that it was happening in the story. The gearshift part is what made me quit and not want to even skim anymore. Like you thought that up and thought it would be sexy or interesting? I wish I would’ve missed that all together. Just yuck.
Overall the writing is bad, the characters are horrible, the story is worst. I skimmed a lot to see if there would be a point to all of the cringy moments, Violence, and SA and there wasn’t so I quit.
This was an interesting read, and though it was long (since it was an entire series), I finished it to the end. Things that kept me going was the plot was interesting, the FMC was compelling, and the spice was pretty well done.
However, I almost DNF'd this right out of the gate for one reason and that is that pretty early on the However, I basically decided to just sort of ignore it and move forward, hoping that they would have a proper repentance. IMO they didn't.
Some other problems for me were:
*Lack of editing: For example, early on is when we meet Franco, he's briefly referred to as Ted a few times. Occasionally Doris, Diana and I think other names are mixed up.
*Some things just didn't make sense: The leader of the Triad is Japanese. When characters slip into Italian, it seems like the FMC can understand what they're saying. None of these characters were believable as eighteen year olds.
*The FMC has bouts of "not like other girls" over the dumbest things, like when seeing other girls flirt. Or thinks things like "normal people wake up every day with a smile on their face." It's annoying. She had plenty of real reasons to feel different, but knowing how to speak in a husky voice is hardly special.
*All of the murdering (or threatening to murder) over petty things while letting actual baddies go so they could come back later and do more bad things.
*The comical amount of squirting. At some point it no longer has any appeal and just sounds inconveniently messy.
So because it's an Omnibus, I'll rate each book below:
Spiteful Punks
I love the plot, and the feel of the angst of what the FMC is going through, but this was hard to read. I don't know if it's because I feel like there were a lot of run on sentences and paragraphs that were too long. Now, with that being said, I would still recommend this book because it is unique and feels like it's going to go somewhere in the next book. I am rating this a 3 star, which is hard for me b/c I don't like to rate books low when the story is good. But it's getting 3 stars because the attention I had to give to the paragraphs and sentences took away from the story for me.
I just finished this book and I am utterly obsessed. This is a 6-star read for me, no question. It put me through every single emotion—anxiety, heartbreak, elation, tension, love, anger—I felt everything. It’s dark, raw, addictive, and one of the most well-crafted, emotionally gripping stories I’ve read in a long time.
If you love bikers, mafia, gangs, found family, emotional struggles, and an intense dark romance with explicit smut between a girl and five men, then this book is for you. But heed the trigger warnings—there’s non-consent, torture, and heavy dark themes included. This book series does not shy away from its darkness, making it all the more intense and unforgettable.
THE BOYS—CHAOS, CARNAGE, AND ABSOLUTE PERFECTION Let’s break this down properly because these men deserve it.
Tey – The Unhinged, Hilarious, Psychotic Protector He is, without a doubt, one of the most fascinating characters I’ve ever read. He is completely psychotic, and I mean that in the best possible way. He’s erratic, terrifyingly unpredictable, and capable of things that make you pause and think, holy shit, did that just happen? But what makes him brilliant is that he’s also hilarious, childish, and wildly entertaining.
And then there’s his unicorn. The fact that this unhinged menace of a man is obsessed with a stuffed unicorn? That he carries it around, treats it like a sacred object, and still manages to be one of the most dangerous people in the room? Iconic. Tey is a paradox—he’s chaos and comfort, danger and devotion. But one thing is undeniable—his love for Tillie is absolute. He was the first to truly see her, to be there for her, to accept her for exactly who she is. And that? That makes him perfect. I love him, loved every single moment reading about him and every single time he was on page.
Nicky – The Fighter, The Survivor, The One Who Grabbed His Life Back Nicky’s journey was phenomenal. He starts off struggling to keep control, caught between his own truth and the pressure of a father who refuses to accept him (and who is also one of the worst human beings on planet earth).
His character arc? One of the best in the book. Watching him step into himself, to own who he is, to finally fight back against the expectations that were suffocating him—it was powerful. He’s a powerful, quiet dom, but don’t mistake his quietness for lack of interest, because when he gets to love and to care? The world around him BURNS.
And the moment he stood up to his father? Chills. The way he found the courage, the way he finally said, enough—I lived for that moment. And what made it even better? He wasn’t alone. He had the full force of his brothers and Tillie behind him, supporting him, protecting him. The sense of found family in this book? Unmatched.
Logan – The Leader, The Force, and The One Who Refused to Become His Father Logan’s story broke me. His relationship with his father was absolutely gut-wrenching. The weight of expectation, the toxic legacy he was supposed to carry—it was suffocating. But Logan? He fought against it. He refused to become the man who raised him, and he was able to overcome it all for love and trust.
But the real beauty of his arc? He didn’t do it alone because it was through Tillie and the others that he found the strength to change. Their support, their presence in his life—they saved him as much as he saved himself.
Dalton – The Biker Teddy Bear Who Will Burn the World for His People Dalton is the softest, most protective biker teddy bear to ever exist. His love for Tillie is unshakable. He’s the kind of man who will tear the world apart to keep his people safe and, more than anything, his little bitch.
But just like Tillie, he needed saving, too because he's an amazing representation of a man who is a victim of sexual assault without recognizing it, and that kind of representation is powerful. It was only after meeting Tillie, only after becoming part of this chaotic, dysfunctional family, that he truly found his place and felt deserving of being loved.
Dalton is an amazing character that can be easily underrated, but not on my watch, because this man is present in one of the most powerful scenes in this whole book/series (IYKYK)—and his screams made me feel his pain.
Dom – The Last Piece of the Puzzle, The One Who Completed the Chaos… and The Stalker Dom came in late, but the way he integrated into the group so seamlessly? Flawless. He treats Tillie like a queen, like she’s something precious, something that deserves to be cherished. But what I loved most? He respects and values all of them. He didn’t just step in and claim Tillie—he became a part of the boys' group, even having a complicated relationship (and past) with Logan.
The way he is introduced? AMAZING. Because (trust me) you don’t see him coming, but fuck, I wouldn’t have it any other way. He’s sweet but powerful, he’s dangerous (as they all are), but he is a caretaker, and although Dalton loves to be called Daddy, we all know who the real 'Papi' is.
TILLIE—THE HEART, THE SURVIVOR, THE QUEEN Tillie’s journey was everything to me. She is one of the strongest FMCs I’ve had the pleasure of reading, and I love her with the same intensity that I love all her boys.
She starts this book broken, weighed down by trauma, by loss, by the way the world and her family have treated her. But she fights. And with these five at her side, she rebuilds herself, piece by piece.
She starts slow. She gathers courage. But the truth is? SHE NEVER GIVES UP.
But the beauty of this story? She did the same for them.
They helped her heal, love herself, and rebuild her confidence, but she saved them too.
THE VILLAINS, THE PLOT TWISTS, AND THE FINAL PIECES The villains in this book? Vile. But what made them even better? We got their POVs. That SURPRISED ME A LOT. It’s not common and was really well done—being in their minds didn’t make them sympathetic, but it did give us insight, making them even more terrifying.
And then there’s Rig—the only decent father figure in this entire mess. And the plot twist he brought? Flawless. He was the one exception, the one man who proved that not all fathers in this story were irredeemable garbage. That twist hit hard, and it was brilliantly executed.
FINAL THOUGHTS—READ THIS BOOK NOW I lived for this story. I loved these characters. I breathed for their happy ending. I suffered for their struggles. I will never forget it. I will scream from the rooftops until every dark romance and reverse harem lover picks it up because this book is so underrated, and it deserves way more attention.
READ. THIS. BOOK.
PTPT
Fez-me passar por todas as emoções possíveis—ansiedade, desespero, felicidade, tensão, amor, raiva—senti tudo.
O arco dele? Dos melhores do livro.
O sentimento de found family neste livro? Insuperável.
Logan – O Líder, A Força, e Aquele Que Se Recusou a Ser Como o Pai A história de Logan destruiu-me.
E a verdadeira beleza do arco dele?
Ela nunca desiste.
E o mais bonito desta história? Ela fez o mesmo por eles. Eles ajudaram-na a curar-se, a amar-se e a reconstruir-se, mas ela também os salvou.
OS VILÕES, OS PLOT TWISTS E AS PEÇAS FINAIS Os vilões deste livro? NOJENTOS.
Perfeito.
PENSAMENTOS FINAIS—LÊ ESTE LIVRO AGORA Vivi esta história. Amei estas personagens. Respirei pelo final feliz delas. Sofri pelas suas lutas. Nunca me vou esquecer disto.
LIVRO.

Let me start this by immediately saying pay attention to the trigger warnings if you want to read this. Take them seriously. This book was ok. Lots of decent smut for sure. Tillie (FMC) was just too much for me sometimes. Why choose romance is hard for me sometimes because in my mind I see a clear choice but again that’s the luxury of why choose and the fact it’s a book 🤣. For our MMC’s… I loved them all truly. Dalton and Logan were my choices for Tillie. I loved unhinged TeyTey, that man was crazy and hilarious and poor Nicky just broke my heart with wanting to just be free to live his life without worry. I felt he and Tey were the best relationship. I honestly wish Tillie would have just kept it with this friend group. I LOVED Dom but he just didn’t fit in my mind. I mean she gives Dom a lap dance to piss off Logan and then all of the sudden she’s in love with him and he’s stalking her. And she immediately wants to jump his damn bones. I think Dom was truly infatuated with Tillie and felt those boys would mess up and he would be ready to scoop her off her feet and never look back at them. Dom deserved to have her alone if he was going to have her.
Tillie endured so much as a young girl and I honestly don’t know how she was still making it, but she was OVER THE TOP sometimes and it was too much. A lot of times I felt like she was acting so desperate. I know she just wanted a family and real love but I truly didn’t feel as though the love/connection was genuine between her and all the guys, it mostly just seemed physical. Listen, a healthy sex life is great. There is nothing wrong with wanting to have sex often but this girl acted like she couldn’t go 5 minutes or look in the direction of a single one of these guys at any moment without the immediate need to jump their bones. Which brings me back to my statement that there wasn’t even really decent genuine connection with all of them.
My review is all over the place and doesn’t really make much sense probably. I enjoyed this book fine but my feelings were all over the place the entire time regarding the FMC and MMC’s so it’s hard for me to make sense of it all and put it into words. I am truly just rambling in regard to the book because I have no one to share my thoughts with. Take this review with a grain of salt and move on to others for a decent review.

I seriously can't get enough of these books. Tillie's strength is astonishing, with everything she has been through she still holds her head up high and shows so much strength. Fleeing her prison of abuse and pain she lands in fresh kind of hell. In the home of a woman who admits she's her mother and the sinister eyes of her husband who watches her with suspicion. Her new step brother and his friends try to break her for her secrets not knowing how much she can endure and has done previously. Learning the truth about her past they all seek forgiveness and show their true feelings of love and devotion to the girl who holds the power in her hands for each of them. An enemy becomes a friend and a new addition to Tillie's harem. Unearthing hidden secrets and bringing them all together to end the abuse from their father's greed and lust for power. With only one thing left to end the constant reminded of her past Tillie ends the life of the man who haunts her day and night with the help of her 5 men. Freeing herself of all the hurt and pain she's carried around she claws herself back from the depths of hell and flies free to live a life she never thought she'd have with her men at her side. Each of her Haram have something different to offer but I can't help but secretly love Tey & his 🦄,his out right craziness but pure devotion to her 🫠. He is one crazy f*cker! If you love a good reverse harem book and want 5 completely different men one that's pure crazy this series is for you! Highly recommend 💙
'Whatever they do, I can’t help but think that they are perfect in their own unique way, no matter if it looks crazy to the outside world.'
A queen on a pedestal surrounded by her protective, batshit crazy men.
This is me. Tillie. Five dangerous men captured my heart and didn’t let go. And the ending I used to wish for... well, it's taken a turn to a bright, bloody, and a little crazy future. I can't wait to see what my beginning has in store for me.

Madeline Fay’s “Dolls & Douchebags” is a stirring exploration of pain, resilience, and unexpected love. The story follows a protagonist who, having known only pain, runs away in search of a fresh start. However, she quickly discovers that escape does not guarantee a resolution. Instead, it thrusts her into new emotional battles, particularly when four enigmatic men—Logan, Dalton, Tey, and Nicholas—enter her life. The plot is engaging and multi-layered, keeping readers hooked with its blend of emotional intensity and intricate character dynamics. While some sections could benefit from more refined pacing, the overall narrative flow is smooth and compelling. Fay skillfully navigates the protagonist’s journey, from the depths of despair to moments of hope and connection. Character development is one of the novel’s strengths. The protagonist is a relatable and complex figure, whose growth is both believable and moving. Logan, Dalton, Tey, and Nicholas are equally well-crafted, each bringing a unique dynamic to the story. Their interactions with the protagonist are rich and layered, adding depth to the narrative. The romantic chemistry is palpable and well-developed. Fay captures the nuances of emotional connection beautifully, making the relationships feel authentic and engaging. Each romantic subplot is thoughtfully woven into the main narrative, enhancing the overall emotional impact. Fay’s writing style is clear and engaging, though there are occasional grammatical errors. Her distinctive voice adds a layer of charm to the storytelling. The emotional moments are powerful and memorable, evoking a strong response from readers. Overall, Dolls & Douchebags is a highly enjoyable read with minor flaws. Its compelling plot, well-developed characters, and strong emotional impact make it a standout in the romance genre. This book is a great addition to any romance reader’s collection.
Tumour inducing series. Obviously trigger warnings are there for a reason.
I am not normally one to pick apart a book (or a series) but I was just so disappointed with this series.
I keep waiting for our FMC to grow a pair and stop making ideal threats about “bring these boys to their knees”. Instead she keeps dropping to her knees following their every command.
Look I love me some Sub/Dom energy but Tillie talks a big talk without much action. And being the “victim” repeatedly is tiring.
I didn’t see the need for the multi POV for Cruz, Payne, Rig and rest of the ensemble cast. Flashbacks also seemed unnecessary.
Look there is plenty of well written sexy times and that is a great plus for this series, and we love a “crazy” that falls hard for our FMC and Tey’s role in this series is a big redeeming feature.
Nicola’s Tourette’s is also endearing and I love her bond with Tillie.
But when Tillie she feels betrayed and possibly “cheated on” after seeing a pic of Logan, and Nicholas with Paris, she threatens retribution but gets a spanking by the boys instead. Confused, me too.
Major drama hits as an important person is kidnapped, but first let’s crank up the sexy times, so Tey and Tillie can have some one on one time. Ok back to the drama … no now it’s time for Tey and Nicky to get it on (I was flipping pages at this point) ….. where’s my storyline’s gone? How about now? No it’s time for a fight scene, relevance to the current storyline, yeah I don’t know either. Oh wait I see group smexy times!
Ding dong, ok now we get back to the drama.
And the finale where Tillie really makes Cruz pay for all her trauma and pain ….
Look in my opinion if you want a gripping story with highs and lows, good banter and well paced this isn’t the series for you. However, if the sexy times x 13 is more what you want and you can deal with the abuse and trauma introduced then maybe this is your jam? But this series was not for me.
This is an RH series about a woman who was born into a biker club and had to experience a lot of abuse until she finally escaped. Now she finds love in the form of five powerful men who are ready to help her get her revenge.
A pretty fun RH series. Lots of steam and some action too. I liked the RH dynamic, there is some light m/m between two of the guys (which I loved). Not a perfect series, but pretty good overall.

I read this book for an exchange of an honest review!
Do not read this book if you have any of the triggers that is in this book. This book contains numerous triggers that are heavy and may be difficult for those who prefer not to read about the topic on paper. Do not ignore the trigger warnings, they are there for a reason. If you are looking for a book with lots of spice, definitely look no further! While some of the spice is not for everyone, if you enjoy some DARK romance themes/spice in a book, you will get your fill in this book.
I overall enjoyed the book. The FMC Tillie has lived through so much and is a total badass. While she has experienced some truly big hardships, she pushes on. The MMCs are each in their own ways villains, but we love that right? I am stuck in loving either Trey or Dalton, but that's hard to choose...The twists and turns at the end of each book definitely kept me interested and on my toes, wondering what else was going to be happening.
The only struggle I had while reading was how long the book was. I have read books that were around this length before, but the story dragged on towards the end of the book.
Rating 3.75 starts 4/5 spicy

This book is not for everyone. It is a really dark, why choose romance. This book is all five books in the series as one. Tillie has known nothing but pain and abuse for most of her life. Mostly at the hands of her father, the leader of a motorcycle club, and Cruz, the VP who has always been obsessed with her. When she finally gets free, she runs to the address she was given to find a mother she didn't know existed and her family. Her new stepfather, the chief of police, tells his son and his friends to watch over her. What can go wrong with a bunch of dangerous guys bossing her around... or will it become painfully right? Don't get me wrong, this book is dark and twisted... but I truly enjoyed it. There were times I was laughing out loud, smiling, kicking my feet, and rolling my eyes right along with the characters. I really enjoyed all of them, but my favorites were Tey and Nichola. I love that they both weren't afraid to be themselves, with Tey being crazy and Nichola with her tics. Yes, this book is violent. Yes, this book is spicy. Yes, this book has MM. If you can handle what's listed in the TW, then enjoy!
I’ve got to say I took my time with this book, not because it was so dark I couldn’t read it but life caught up but each time I came back to it I was completely sucked in!! I can only say PLEASE read the trigger warnings before committing to this book. As a lover of dark romance and reverse harems I can say I REALLYYYY enjoyed this book 🤭 It’s got : Found family!! Obviously touch her and die.. multiply that by 5. 🫠 *Scenes that can be quite triggering due to the FMC’s past which it does go in to great detail with* Forced proximity 😮💨
I can only repeat that certain scenes and aspects of this are not for the faint of heart but I personally was eating the writing and chapters up. Honestly parts of it had me real sad for the FMC but just watching her fire-y spirit come out more and hooking all these.. fabulous men in 😮💨 And if I’m being honest? Tillie I salute you. Cause GIRLL, those spicy scenes were giving pure spice 🫢 Usually when I read harems I always have a favourite but I honestly can’t say for sure with this one.. I love them all 😳 I hope if this book is on your TBR you give it the time of day because wow.. Words can’t express how much I loved this book!
This is the 1000 page collection of the entire series. It becomes a contemporary reverse harem after two books of brutal bullying. Reading this was like seeing a fatal mass car wreck. You simply can't look away, then wonder why you ever dared to look. It is so very violent and cruel that trigger warnings aren't really enough. The heroine is raised in a brutal motorcycle club who treat her well until she turns 16. Then she is ganged raped by most of the men and forced to dance at a strip club for two years. She escapes and is sent to California where she finds the woman who is her birth mother. From there she meets the sons of various gang leaders and forms a harem after several books of bullying. There is a lot of non con and dubious sexual activity, but all sorts of tough guys find her irresistible. It is fairly well written with very few grammatical errors. However the triad are normally Chinese gangs, not Japanese. I did have to skip and skim through a lot of this book as it exceeded my tolerance levels.
O ranking ficou: Dalton, Dom, Tey, Nicky, Logan.
This is the first book I've ever read that I just couldn't put down. The start is dark, but that's life. I love the way Madeline portrayed the dark aspects of life as a woman in the underground world. Unlike other books I've read she didn't romanticize non-consent and put the BDSM lifestyle in a beautiful positive light.
Tillie's relationship with each of her men is beautiful. Watching each relationship grow and blossom was a heartfelt ride. I was at the edge of my seat until the very last word. Packed with steamy spice, action, violence, and emotions!
I would love to get a physical copy for my 'Best Reads' shelf. Great for anyone who wants to explore the wide array of pleasures and grow an emotional attachment to fictional characters as if they met them. Can't wait to see what you come up with next!
Well damn, this was spicy intense smut with the story. It has it all, bikers, gangs, spanish mafia, Italian mafia, Chinese triads, orphans, dark themes, reverse harem, mm, mfm and on and on. I don’t have triggers so I wasn’t disturbed with violence, rape and torture. With the smut I had a feeling the author wanted to have it all, every one had their own kink and she was in for all. I liked the fantasy but some scene came completely unrealistic. Anyway I liked Tillie and her guys. She was strong and survivor and in the end their queen. I like the contrast with her willingly going on her knees for them. One thing I didn’t understand though, her play to test Logan was unnecessary in my opinion. To sum up if you like dark smut with crime with literally every possible variation, than this one is for you.
So I got the rec to read this from multiple sources and it sounded like it would be right up my alley. I was looking for a harem that's completely devoted, and I will say I got that in the end. The first book I wasn't sure I'd be able to get through, I wasn't expecting The harem to be that aggressive in the beginning. It turned me off on them pretty fast. Even though they made up for it later on it bothered me that she forgave so easily. Also the smexy scenes were a bit much by the end. If I had to hear about her "spraying" One more time I was going to scream. She might want to get that checked by a doctor. There were a few other things that were cringy for me, but those were definitely the worst of it. I am glad she got her happy ending, and that the book came to an end.
3.5/5⭐️ 5/5🌶 Fast paced story with a lot of action and spice. Even over the 5 books in the series, it kept moving and didn't slow down or become redundant. I liked all the main characters and how they all worked together. Just a couple of things that were off. The first, which didn't impact my rating but was in my thoughts the entire read, was that these were unrealistically supposed to be 18-year old high school kids (although the don't go to school and it pretty much isn't mentioned after the first book). The author should have made them all older. Second issue that definitely reduced my enjoyment of the series, came in the last book - What happened with Paris. While her character was a bully, it was initially encouraged by Logan. It just felt very callous and despicable for all these characters and really wasn't necessary.
Fabulous! I will say that this series has absolutely been a thrill and I was completely hooked from the very beginning. The author just has a way of expressing her characters emotions and struggles that you feel everything right alongside them. Tillie hands down is a baddie! And her five men are absolute legends in my books. Logan, Dalton, Dom, Nicky, and Tey are by far the greatest book boyfriends. They have so much love and affection and respect for Tillie. I am so glad that Tillie got her happy ever after. And Rig! Oh my god! I almost cried tears of joy. I wish there was more to this story. I want to know if they ever have little monsters running around and how each of the guys will react.
Have to say, this was a book almost impossible to put down! I didn’t even know what it was about prior to reading it. I just started reading from a humongous list of unread books I had previously purchased. So glad I did! There was lots of excitement. frights, love, sex, hate, pain, friends, lovers, enemies, and everything in between. The FMC was someone with a beautiful, but broken soul/heart. The MMCs were bad to the bone, but looking for someone to love, even if they wouldn’t admit it. It isn’t for the faint of heart, but is an awesome and entertaining read. I look forward to reading more by this author, but maybe after some ‘light’ reading for a few days.
I read book one a few years ago and finally had the chance to re-read and finish the series!! Tillie's strength grew as the series went on and how she chose herself and the love she has for her men over her fears. Once the guys realize she's not the enemy or a spy they each fall for a piece of her and gain forgiveness. And lets not forget about our last man that's added to the group. Dom brings his own protection and love for Tillie while the others put their differences aside to protect and love their queen as one. But I will say I love Tey and his brand of crazy! He is so unhinged due to his past, but he loves fiercely and will protect those he loves at all cost. Highly recommend these books! You will not be disappointed!
As you can see, it took forever for me to read this book. It started as a book club book and then I just kept reading honestly, the first chapter could’ve could’ve warned everybody about the fucking drama dump. Excuse my language, but damn the rest of the book, it was pretty good. There were moments where it was great and then there were moments where I kinda just skimmed the pages until I could continue on. I did end up using like a speechify app and having it read it to me at two times because there were moments in the book where it just seemed very mundane and like she was using word garble to upper word count, I did not actually finish the entire book. I think I was at the final book of the whole series, but from what I got from it, I did like it.
Holy fucking unicorn!!! So I have had this series on my TBR forever and finally decided to take the plunge!!! I am in love and I honestly don't think I could choose just one of the guys as my favorite!!! They are all fucking psychos, dirty, filthy talkers, bloody, kinky bastards and dominate yet submissive as fuck!!! I don't know how many times I laughed out loud and shit that Tillie or Tey were saying 🤣🤣 I really hated them for a minute there and loved how she got her revenge and then throwing Dom in there... FUCK YEA!!! All the twists and turns. Amazing series and characters. Nicola had me DYING!!!!
If you like watching a broken down FMC become a badass and face her biggest fears you'll love this book. If you like possessive, crazy men who will do anything for their girl but who aren't all in from the start, this may be the story for you. If you like dark, twisted stories with extensive trigger lists and a harrowing overarching plot, this is a must read. Tilly and her men sow chaos in their story and introduce to a cast of side characters you'll either love or hate. 10/10 will absolutely read again!
