this and the last book were prob my fav of the series - especially this one bc this felt like a complete book start to finish and it was a real page turner for me - was fr tapping my kindle at a break neck speed to see what would happen next

Darkest Knight
I enjoyed reading this very much. You read about people who have been up in the mountains their patients Blue Ridge family back to the 1600s and with the inbreeding that went with it. This was an excellent story that shows what could happen in a area like that. I can’t wait to be the next one and continue this whole series.

Accident?
Interesting story. When Jessie took the job to find out about what they called an accident of a woman only to discover it wasn't an accident but a horrible murder. She was involved in a series of questionable disappearance of young women. Held my breath in some parts of the story.

Well written
The imagination of this writer is off the scale. How she comes up with these wild scenarios is amazing. Her books have gruesome details and some foul language I don't approve of.

Jessie, Alex, Doc, and Blizzard are my favorite crime fighters. They are all strong links, makes an amazing team. Pine Haven will steal your heart with its charm and townsfolk.
