Poor Tati, she was a stripper who well made a bad choice and now is being stalked by a ghost of a man she betrayed. She is scared but she knows what she did she deseveres to be punished and well Dantes Punishments are wicked and hot.
Public humiliation is a big one. In front of her peers, she is humiliated, but she feels something towards Dante. As for Dante, he loves choking his prey. But he's feeling conflicted because she's not begging for her life like he thinks. Is it an act? He doesn't care she'll still be killed.

This halloween novella is the perfect combination of plot with unhinged questionable spice that we all love in a dark romance. I loved the concept of the plot. Dante is part of the mafia and was set up by Tatiana. Everyone thinks he is dead but surprise, he is still very much alive and is now on the road to exact his revenge with an axe and he is saving the one who fucked him over the most, his little backstabber Tatiana. And let me tell you, Tatiana is about to pay for her sins. But so may or may not end up loving every single moment of it 👀

Tatiana does not sound like someone you want to meet at the end of a dark alley. No, no. Stay away from that girl. At the same time, we can be friends.
Full disclosure, this story had me lost in the first couple of chapters. Not sure why. It wasn't hard to follow, yet my brain would trail off. Then the party scene happened. Ma’am! That was completely filthy. Thank you. That scene will live in my dreams for a while to come.

Dark, dangerous, delicious!
This was a quick read with good dialogue, I absolutely loved the horror house/woods scene but I guess I'm a little bit unhinged myself haha.
Dante for me felt like he was a well layered monster especially after all he had been through, and I love that he never truly forgives. That can be earned!

“You can run but I’ll still come Little Backstabber” Aurelia has done it again. What a truly unhinged Halloween romance. The storyline is short and sweet and full of raunchy action, just the way I like it. I cannot stress the love I have for the MMC. He’s a stab first and ask questions later kinda guy. Read and get your favorite t*y charged. 😉

This took be by surprise and I really enjoyed it. Dark, mafia and Halloween themed? Spice was incredible and I do love a revenge plot storyline! Perfect for spooky season and dark romance girlies that want something just a bit darker and slightly more unhinged than usual.

🪓 So I entered a giveaway on one of Aurelia Knight’s posts, and FOOKEN won the arc!!! I couldn’t believe it 😭. I’m so freaking happy we got it, cuz mafia meets Halloween horror?!? 2 of my most favorite things 😭😭😭😭😭.
🪓 I was hooked from page 1 (who am I kidding, I’ve been hooked since Aurelia posted those dark ass tropes), and I am happily forever addicted to this novella.
🪓 The story is one of revenge and pain- of loneliness and aching for forgiveness. It has a Beauty and the Beast and a Phantom of the Opera feel, and flows the way it should have if Christine had chosen the Phantom (which I 1000% would have done). Dante (our H) is full of rage and hellbent on revenge. Tati (our h) is entrenched in regret and self-loathing. Our pair was in for a wild ride from start to finish. And literally my only complaint about this book? Is that it FINISHED. Whyyyy is this so amazing that I can’t stop living in it 😫. Axes, stalking, somno and all 😈.

This is a very short novella, and once again I have to STRONGLY caution you to READ the TRIGGER warnings!!!! This is not for the faint of heart. I myself was not a huge fan. I do love this author, I have read several other of her books and enjoyed them, but this one was not my favorite. That being said, her writing is always very good and I can easily visualize the scenes that she sets up. Our MMC is very flawed, completely phyco, and totally without mercy, and we can understand why as the author explains how he came to be this way. Our FMC made a huge mistake, she's trying to atone and so let's the MMC do what he needs to her, thinking this will redeem her... and yet somehow this allows them to fall in love? At least it makes for some pretty intense and spicy scenes. I give this 3 stars, as it was not my cup of tea. Again, read your trigger warnings! This will not be for everyone, but for those of you that love some blood with your spice, this is just for you!!

This was quite the journey! Hacked and Hallowed draws you into a dark, intense game of cat and mouse, with revenge at the heart of the story. I’d definitely recommend checking the trigger warnings before diving in, as this is a pitch-black romance with some unsettling scenes. I read Sacked & Sleighed last Christmas and had such a fun time with it, but this one didn’t resonate with me in the same way.
I struggled to fully connect with the main characters, and some of the emotional depth didn’t hit as hard as I’d hoped. That said, the action kept me turning the pages! I would’ve loved a bit more character backstory earlier on instead of waiting until the epilogue. The pacing worked well for most of the book, though the ending felt a little rushed.
If you’re in the mood for a dark, twisted revenge story with a morally complex male lead, this one might be for you!

A quick and spicy revenge Halloween novella. This was such an easy read, the plot and spice, are chefs freaking kiss. Definitely make sure to check your triggers warning on this one. Dante is definitely giving off Phantom of the Opera vibes and is unhinged as all hell and will stop at nothing to get his revenge for what happened to him. And Tati has had it hard, living with her own demons and regrets, before fighting for her life. I absolutely love Aurelia's spicy novella, they give me life and have had me hooked ever since I read Sacked And Sleighed last christmas. I can't wait to get the physical copy and add this to my shelf <3

I love a good Halloween novella with a interesting plot and characters that makes you revalue your morals haha and Dante here my friends is perfect for that!
Dante’s character is so intense but very interesting, I personally enjoyed so much the chapters with his pov because we get to experience first hand his way of thinking and his fixation with his revenge.
I like very much Tatiana’s character, she got a strong personality and that fire in her that makes her very a appealing.
And that final?! I just wanna read more of them!

Please remember when you get into any Aurelia Knight story you are getting into a darker than black romance with all the trigger warnings. This novella is no exception. Dante is out for revenge and blood is his favorite way to get it. He's made his way through the list one by one, slowly climbing to his final victim. When he reaches the women who betrayed him he's sure he'll finally have satisfaction.

Wow!!!!!
This novella was a whole lot of fun to read. Seeing Dante go after his revenge on all who hurt him was magnificent, but also seeing him chose a different revenge for Tatiana than what he did to the others who destroyed his life was hot and spicy. Tatiana tried so hard to prove that her guilt for what happened was real and not just a play was amazing and seeing him decide he wanted her more alive than dead was perfect. Loved this so much and loved it taking place on Halloween was perfect.

I adored this little novella. Dante and Tati are perfection. I love how Tati felt bad for the part she played in ruining Dante's life. I loved that Dante took revenge on all the people that hurt him. Dante was a fantastic little psychopath. Aurelia has done it again with this novella. I honestly cannot get enough of her stories. She has a way developing the best morally grey men. She does a fantastic job at developing the world that she is creating. I secretly hope she will make another novella or story with this couple. I really loved Dante.

Dante, Dante, Dante you are an absolute psychotic freak and I love you. I would leave the door unlocked so you don’t have to break in to play with me. 🥵🥵🥵 I did not expect Dante to be such a crazy possessive alpha, but I loved every moment of it. Dante was “killed” two years ago after Tati helped set him up. Dante has slowly been taking his revenge and goes for Tati. This book is so spicy highly recommend. Part of the Stolen Obsessions world but can be read as a stand alone.

I definitely had to remind myself "this is all fantasy." So that I wouldn't keep thinking "well, that would never happen".
