Sherlock Holmes is suffering from melancholia. Cat Watson, his new detecting companion, has vanished. It has been three long weeks since the detective last laid eyes on the small black cat. Sherlock fears he has come to a bad end, hence the melancholia.
There are pressing cases clamouring for the detective’s attention, but finding Cat Watson is the only one that interests him - until his brother Mycroft also disappears under very peculiar circumstances indeed.
Dr. John Watson is no help whatsoever. He has proclaimed himself to be a client and is badgering Sherlock to solve The Mystery of the Missing Watch. It should be a simple undertaking, yet it is proving to be a thorn in Sherlock’s side. Or perhaps the thorn is John himself.
Sherlock would surely have all three cases wrapped up in a trice, if only a shadowy adversary would stop trying to kill him. And The Mystery of the Single-Minded Assassin is the fourth and deadliest puzzle the detective must solve, if he is to stay alive.

Entertaining Holmes listening 😎🐈

This kindle ebook novel is from my Kindle Unlimited account book two of three

A very interesting Sherlock Holmes adventure when he learns Mycroft has a twin. The twin is out to murder Mycroft and take over the government. Mycroft is stabbed and put in the basement. It all comes to a happy ending. 😏😊

I would recommend this series and author to fans of Sherlock Holmes and British mystery novels 😯🌜 2025 🐈🤔

I do like the cats, cute and very smart. These books are funny. Kinda childish but..

I don't think you should make Dr. Holmes seem so whiney and stupid. Otherwise, still fun to read. Really love the czt.

Once again, very cute. This story was a bit more madcap and far-fetched, but worth the time. I'll read more, but not next Two back to back was enough to get me back to something more substantial.

Better than the first one

Really enjoyed this second volume of The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes' Cat!
I read it immediately upon finishing the first volume. There are still some punctuation issues, but the stories move quickly, and Cat Watson is such a terrific feline hero, that I am looking forward to reading volume 3!
I also read both books with at least one of our several cats snuggled in my lap or at my side, taking it in turns to share in my enjoyment of a clever cat joining Sherlock's assembled familiar friends.

Cute story
Based on Sherlock Holmes and Watson crime solving duo with additional characters and a larger role for Sherlock's housekeeper, (landlady) Mrs. Hudson with quite a checkered past. This tale adds Sherlock's brother Mycroft and the new star of the show - Cat Watson - an actual cat who helps Sherlock solve cases and Dr. Watson's new wife Mary. All the "new" characters definitely have tons to add to the story. Enjoyable read and indicates that Book three will be just as intriguing.

I absolutely lived reading this book!!!

At first I didn't know how I would feel about this book, but I found it extremely interesting and enjoyable! I love the cat, Cat Watson! The storyline in this was so hilarious that I couldn't help laughing out loud. I'm so very happy that this series will continue and there'll be another book of Cat Watson's adventures with Sherlock Holmes!!!

One flaw

Enjoyed this book, an easy read. The one flaw is the depiction of Dr. Watson, not the cat mind you. Maybe the author intended him to be the comic relief in the stories but I didn't find him to be all that amusing. He is portrayed as an inept , clumsy and slow bordering on imbecilic. It detracted from the story rather than enhancing it. Other than that the book was a pleas to read.

This time it's John whump.

In this one Dr. Watson takes the brunt of it. He is once again more dimwitted and blustering than Doyle ever wrote him, Mrs. Hudson is obsessed, the Cockney accents are terrible, and a cat changes color (which might be a nod to Doyle's inability to remember where Watson 's wound was, arm or leg.)

I'm only reading these for the cat and Sherlock.

What a fun book!

This was even better than the first book. I really enjoy the changing point of view, especially Watson's (the cat). The promiscuous landlady comes into her own in so many great ways, especially when propositioning a man pointing a gun at her, lol. Can't wait for #3!!

Fun if not completely realistic

It is full of anachronisms. And ridiculous capers. The characters are mostly bumblers but it is fun to read. The author has them talking about emotional intelligence as if it were a thing in 19th century England. But suspend that and it is a pretty fun read.

This book is very fun because there is a cat in a detective. I mean it kind of makes sense on everything can be like on this book Sherlock Holmes‘s cat and there’s so many new characters that you get to meet if you’ve read this first book then you’re gonna love this one.

Delightful Tale

Both volumes of this adventure were delightful. Cat Watson is a worthy addition to the Holmesian Canon. I love how Dr Watson, Mary, and in particular Mrs Hudson are portrayed. These tales are delicious mental candy indeed. I hope for more adventures.

I enjoyed the a great deal. I'm still not sure I like the change in Mrs Hudson, but it is an interesting twist. I love Cat Watson. The evil twin is a bit old, but, again, this was a fun take, so I didn't mind so much. I am looking forward to the third installment.

More adventures showcasing the brave and clever cat, as Holmes, Watson, Mary and Mrs. Hudson sometimes slip into the realms of slapstick comedy. Does this qualify as character assassination? A brief appearance by Mycroft, who is not so heavily maligned as the others. Fun to read.

Highly amusing fantasy takeoff on Sherlock Holmes

The author has reinvented the history and characters of Sir Conan Doyles stories about Sherlock Holmes. Once you get past the altered facts and characters, the story is intriguing and humorous. There are a few errors in grammar and sequencing but highly enjoyable.

OK, improbable, impossible, but just a fun read. Sherlock Homes is becoming more human, thanks to a cat. Poor Dr. Watson almost finds out his wife's real life and Mary Watson shows just what she'll do to take care of her husband. And slapstick action. Just fun.

Sorry I spent money on Volume 1 and 2

The plot is entirely unrealistic. It reads like slapstick comedy that forgot to be funny. I will not be reading Volume 3.
