Ripley Booker hasn’t led a charmed life by any means, but being the single parent to a young daughter gave him motivation to make her world the best it could be. When two of Ripley’s closest friends found each other and fell in love, the relationship they had changed the entire trajectory of his and his daughter’s life - but in the best way.

Tori Voyles came to Rojo to help her friend escape from a life that was out of control, and in the process, she reconnected with the first man she ever loved - her father. As an added bonus, Tori joined the family that had so easily accepted him and found the job of her dreams using the education and experience she’d worked so hard to achieve. 3.5 stars.
I liked it. I enjoyed it. I loved seeing all the characters again.
But the beginning was already explained in a different book, so that was all a bit repetitive for me, though I completely understand Why it’s in there again. It belongs there lol.
But then that ending…it was SO abrupt. And I Know that’s most likely because it’ll be in the next book about Ruf. But still. I had no clue it was coming and then it just said ‘The End’. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I still liked it.
I’m just kind of upset there wasn’t more.

3.75 ⭐️’s - I can’t remember if I’ve ever given a CB book lower than 4 ⭐️’s but something about this one did not do it for me like the others. I mean Lark was a little different, but I could buy Baxter as a buttoned up nerd who could talk dirty. It was a little harder to buy the almost monosyllabic grumpy cowboy type randomly spouting hallmark card style poetry (and yes it came across a little corny to me at times). Maybe it was my mood and not the book because I typically love everything Cee writes so much. I’m sure I will read it again at some point. 😉

The cast of this book/series/multiple series has gotten so large, it's often hard to keep track of who is who and belongs to who. I find that I just need to go with it.

Tori was in such a precarious place at the start, so glad that she had the Rojo crew that could come to help. Once they were in Rojo, things kinda rolled how they do in Rojo with the main clan coming to help and doing what they could. I often found myself laughing at Scoot, with her turning off her hearing aids and not wanting them, because I could relate and see how having the ability to tune out the world would be a good one. Yet I got why that wasn't good for her and was glad that Tori worked with her and they found ways for Scoot to adjust to speaking/hearing more.

It was interesting to see the chemistry between Tori and Ripley. Flirting on-line and then in person Ripley was a whole different person, sort of giving Tori whiplash. They did manage to get past that and then it was on for them. Ripley got to see Tori being brash and Tori got someone who accepted her and liked her the way she was.

It was fun to see everyone else chime in on the relationship, very strong feelings by all and all rooting for them. I loved how Scoot seemed to move the relationship forward with her demands of Tori and her gift, then with Ripley explaining Scoots way of thinking, it really got to me.

So much drama the end, from the good deed that came back to haunt them to Ripley and Ruf being summoned to see someone neither of them ever want to again. The latter I find intriguing. You know the guys will say yes, they are good guys, it will be fun to see how that plays out.

You must read this book!

First of all, I love Cee Bowerman books. And I have to say that I enjoyed this story immensely. I’ve been in a book funk lately finding nothing out there to catch my attention so I decided to go back to my favorite authors that I had not read recently. I am so glad I did.

This story has great characters with strength, loyalty and acceptance of each other as they are, even if they are being difficult or hard to understand. I enjoyed the different personalities and the banter between them. The story line kept me in suspense and the twist at the end as to where the danger originated from was such a surprise and well done. The depth of love expressed was so heartwarming… the spice was good too! I was so caught up in the book that when I couldn’t read it, I was anxious to get back to it.

Thank you Cee Bowerman! Another great read that I may just turn around and reread again!

Wish it was longer for Ripley and Tori

This is book three in the series. I am enjoying reading about the second generation and friends of the Foresters, MC Knights, and more. The lead female is Tori, the outspoken daughter of Waylon who is with Leia. We finally get the details on why she was evading her father. Ripley is a nice guy but his personality is not good to people that he doesn’t know. Ripley is mean to Tori right off the back which is down right wrong, especially since they have been communicating over email and texts about treatment for his sweet little girl Scoot. There is one scene where Tori asks him about his funeral and it’s too funny. The only issue that I had is that the ending felt rushed. There is a serious event that happens and no where do we hear from Sadie or Ruthie. It was odd that they did not appear. It’s still an interesting story. Read On!

Return to the next gen.

These 2 characters have appeared in the original Texas kings / knights series. They aren't blood related but both get taken into the fold.
The start of this book coincides with the end of Leia's book. Tori has gone on a rescue mission to help her best friend and refused to leave - enter the Rojo squad to remove them from the situation.

When Ripley and Tori meet, gone is the eloquent man she has been helping on line. In his place is the grumpiest grump who ever grumped!
I loved seeing more of Scoot and especially her reaction to her new super chatty friend.
This book has everything I have come to love about Cee's books. Strong main M&F leads, well developed side characters, protective family and love that can't be fought.
Can't wait for the next in the series. Heath's book maybe?

Oooooh How I have been waiting on Riley's book and Cee did not disappoint. We of course get some updates on some of our favorite characters, but more importantly we get Ripley and Tori's story. Their story has hilarious banter, some good old fashion arguing, you know the kind to get under the skin, but is actually kind of fun LOL, Some sexytime, and the loving story of a dad who will do anything for his Scoot! I could not put this book down. Now I can't wait to see what's next with Lonestar Terrace and of course hopefully we will get some updated on Ripley, Tori and Scoot. Do yourself a favor and grab a copy today. If you are new to Cee Bowerman I suggest you go back to the beginning so you can fall in love with all the people of Rojo like the rest of us. And enjoy!

I am so in love with Rip, Tori and Scoot! Tori's friend and her daughter were awesome characters as well, I hope we see them get their own story. Rip and Tori got to know each other through emails and such for the past year. He was open and forthcoming in his messages, so very different from how he is in person. It makes their first interactions face to face a little rough. Tori is a firecracker, I love her so much! She and Scoot together are just beautiful. Rip's love and devotion to his daughter is one of the best things about him. I could go on and on about this beautiful, wildly entertaining read, but you must experience it for yourself! Cannot recommend this author enough; she manages to combine humor, heart, spice and some suspense together and creates magic!

Ripley & Tori

I always think that Cee Bowerman’s books can’t possibly get any better. And then the next one comes out and surpasses any and all expectations! Ripley is amazing, almost poetic and the most aggravating man ever. Tori is like no other - strong, take charge, honest and vulnerable too. They were perfect together even before they met in person. I love them. I love Scoot. I love Sadie and her little princess. I love this Rojo family and I just can’t get enough! And that ending!!!! I’m on pins and needles waiting for more!!! So much love to Cee for creating this Rojo world!! ❤️❤️❤️

Rip, Scoot & Tori

The second generation continues with the good crazy. Rip, Scoot and Tori had me laughing out loud. I love the instant support that the Rojo families give each other. Oh how I can't wait for more from Ruthie and Koda. These kids are amazing.

I loved that Rip is passionate and writes like a poet but verbally grunts at Tori. The level of her frustration with him made me laugh so hard. Rips relationships with his mom and dad had me rolling.

Tori's run in with Martha and Terra - OMG. I would love to have been in the grocery store. I want to eat pancakes at Martha's dinner and just soak in being with the Forrestors, Dukes and Connors.

OMG Cee didn't disappoint!

The question came to mind as to how much more can the residents of Dojo give us? Apparently so much more!

I just wanna sit next to Cee Bower manage ask her so many questions about her stories. I'm loving the second version as much as the first gen. Ripley and Tori are made for each other. Two halves of one soul.

Celia and Ruthie's interactions are hilarious! Koda is the perfect big brother for Celia. But now I'm left with so many more questions. Like what's going to happen with Ruth and her mom. Is Heath going to fall for her? And now the is a new addition? Yay!

Love love love this!

Five freaking stars!

I loved this book so so much! Might just be my favorite of all ! Tori and Rips story. Tori is speech therapist for Rips deaf daughter and of course Rip falls for this sassy lady. Add in the Forresters and you have a fantastic read. If you haven't read Fee Bowerman before go back and read her series in reading order from her website. Start with the Knights and enjoy all the laughter, the tears , the drama, and the sexiness that comes with all C Bowerman books....... You are welcome! Enjoy!!

So good.

Cee's writing style and how she tells each story is what draws me in each and every time with all of her books. The families aren't perfect they do the best they can. Most importantly is family, blood and non blood relatives. The non blood are addressed as Mom, Dad, aunt , uncle, siblings or cousins. It's what I love about them. I enjoyed Tori and Riley's story it was so good. However I am not happy that there is a cliff hanger.
Cee has spoiled me. I will just have to wait for the next story
to see what happens.

A must read

I love Cee's books, I will stop a current read to catch up with her characters in Rojo when a new one is released. Loved Ripley and Tori's story. They had me laughing and swooning over their story. I will say the end did have me using Cee's readers version of her government name. 🤣 now we wait for the next one to finish where this one left off! Grrrr a whole month! Can't wait, thanks again Cee for another great story

Fantastic

A love a grumpy man and Ripley is most definitely a grumpy man and Tori is the perfect woman for him. Throw in the ever adorable Scoot and the wonderful Sadie and you get the most epic family. Full of Cee’s trademark laughs, tears and famous left turns, this book is a must read just like all of Cee’s books are. I highly recommend this author to every reader, you won’t go wrong with anything she writes 🖤❤️

Amazing ❤️

The second generation just keeps getting better and better. I'm not sure how that's possible, but they do. I’ve been waiting for Tori's story and wasn't disappointed. Tori is the sunshine to Ripley and Scoots grumpy side, and it just works for these three. The love and support of these families still continue to grow, and we'll definitely see this more with the ending she gave us. I definitely wasn't expecting that but excited to see where it goes.

A fantastic story and series

This was another terrific addition to the series, and a story that you won't want to miss. I only wish that it would've been longer, as well as not ended the way it did. However, knowing the author, she will certainly continue the unusual situation that the guys have found themselves in, again. Lol!
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and exceptional author.

a good read

I enjoyed this story. It has all the heart and emotions you could hope for. It is also quite humorous. This mainly evolves around a therapist and an ex con who has a daughter who can’t hear because her mother is an irresponsible idiot. There is drama and intrigue as the little girl learns the value of electronics for hearing and the couple work toward their HEA. Recommend if you want a good read.

2012 will get your heart pumping!

What a story, I love this series and each book gets better and better. The introduction of Watson's daughter Tori and the lives she impacts will get your heart pumping. Then, there is Ripley or Rip. The dynamics between Scoot his daughter has every parent shaking it off. Let's say we all get it. Love, laughter, drama and some very hot and steamy scenes pushes this book into the must read category! Enjoy yourself and thank you Cee.

Wait no you didn’t leave me on that snippet! 🤣

So many emotions going through my head! Another amazing book by Cee! Don’t sit on this series. It’s full of laughs, hot, & spicy scenes that make you add another Book Boy Friend to your reverse Harem! 🤣

Love Ripley “Rip” & Tori! I hope there is a follow up about Sadie & Ruthie in a future book. 🤞🏻

Happy to see Ruf Forrester is getting a book here soon.

Very good

This book is another installment of the Rojo series second generation. Its good but a little predictable and no real angst. I wish Gee would put some kind if family tree diagram because I'm old and can't remember who belongs to whom anymore.
Over at the book was good. I liked Rip and Tori as a Cole and Scoot is a pistol. But I have to say that little Ruthie cracked me up.
Looking forward to Ruf's book next.

Fantastic

Cee always writes with such passion. Her Characters just delve into your heart and live there forever. I've read every book she has written multiple times. Tori and Ripley are just another great example of the skill this author has of bring to life the whole town of Rojo to life and making it seem alive. Waiting on Ruf. That book will be awesome.

That ending!

Cee Bowerman is always a must-read. This series differs from some of her other series because the characters hang on the periphery of the main characters we’ve come to love. However, they all have great stories to tell, and with the ending of this book, I know some things are definitely in the works!

Enjoyed this book!

I had a little trouble figuring out who belonged to who at first. I've been rereading the 1st generation and had just read the book that was about Rylie's dad. I think that really helped. Might need a family tree to help sort these characters out. Trying to remember what kids go with whom and so forth. However, it was a great story.

Cute book

Loved the book. As great as the relationship is between Ripley and b Tori, the relationship between Tori and Scoot and Ripley and Scoot was better. The kids in the story stole the show. And I'm hoping the story line with Sadie's in laws is continued in other books. And I love, love, love the last of the epilogue with Ruf and Ripley and their ex and after.

Rip and Tori

The dynamics of this relationship is all that one is looking for, respect , honesty, laughter, conversation , friendship and love, not only for each other but for the family and friends that make an appearance in the story. The fierce love that rip has for Scoot is beautiful and the plot twist...
