False Light, a short story by the crime novelist, Margaret Murphy, was first published in 'Liverpool Stories' (Comma Press, 2004). It then appeared in 'Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine' (Dell Magazines, 2005), and was featured in 'The Best British Mysteries' (Allison & Busby, 2005).
